- Beverley (10/5): Delightful. - This is a delightful place to stay. More like a house than a hotel. Mary Beth looked after us very well, gave dinner recommendations and sightseeing tips. Our room was very clean and comfortable, we had a delicious breakfast, and I was even able to catch up on some laundry. Parking is on site, and we were able to walk to explore Natchez. Nothing to dislike

Las ventanas dan a una carrera donde se escucha todo y es contigua a otra donde también se oye a los huéspedes de al lado. El baño está como prefabricado dentro de la habitación, no aislado y la bañera no tiene mampara ni cortina y se sale todo el agua

Frühstück wird individuell zubereitet, das ganze Haus scheint in der Mitte des letzten Jahrhunderts stehengeblieben zu sein, was zu einer tollen für Natchez passende Atmosphäre sorgt Parkplatz hinter dem Haus könnte besser ausgebeschildert sein

- Stefan (8/5): Historisches Haus mit persönlicher amerikanischer Betreuung - Sehr nette Gastgeberin! Das historische Haus ist sehr authentisch! Es gibt ein originales Amerikanische Frühstück! Serviert wird im Esszimmer, als wenn man privat zu Besuch wäre - super! Das Zimmer war recht groß. Parken hinter dem Haus auf dem eigenen Parkplatz kein Problem und kostenlos. Durch die zentrale Lage im Ort konnten wir den Hafen und die schönen antebellum Villen sowie die Restaurants fußläufig gut erreichen. Super Tipps gab es von der Gastgeberin gerne. Man hätte abends auch noch im Wohnzimmer oder im Garten sitzen können. Unser Zimmer lag direkt an der Hauptstraße des Ortes und an einer der großen Kreuzungen. Tagsüber nichts für lärmempfindliche Naturen! Die Nächte waren überraschend ruhig. Unser Zimmer hatte weiterhin auch nur eine Badewanne und keine Dusche! Es gibt ein Zimmer im Haus mit einer richtigen Dusche und auch nicht direkt an der Straße - ggf. kann man danach fragen.

Man fühlt sich sofort 100 Jahre zurück versetzt. Kann es wirklich von Herzen empfehlen. Klein und schnuckelig in einem tollen Städtchen. Es gibt nichts zu bemängeln 😘

- Fuselier (2/5): Don't stay here. - The house was lovely and nicely appointed. There were roaches in the kitchen, the breakfast turned out to be Continental, and while we were out eating, someone was in the house. We knew that to be the case because a window shade in the living room was pulled down and ripped. The shelves on the refrigerator door was filthy and had condiments that had been in there for months. A light in another guest bedroom was on, and we didn't use that bathroom. We were accused of staying in that room. We were scared and left the following morning. Not a safe place in my opinion.

Nice history of building. Bathroom was not good. She told us about a leak but still. Bathtub kinda yucky - I wouldn’t use it. Handshower only. Lots of road noise. Only TV is in common area with other guests. Not enough electrical outlets for modern travel.

The host was nice enough to compensate us for the lack - Property is somewhat difficult to find, but the exterior seemed to be fine. My wife thought it was cute. This was an Anniversary trip for my wife and I. The description on Booking did not match the presentation of our room/stay. Host called us when we were on the way there to inform us she could not provide breakfast the next morning due to being unavailable. There was no shower in our room(pink room) as listed on the Booking post, only a handheld spray handle. The bath tub was also not clean, bedroom door does not lock. The Keurig in kitchen was also not clean, so we were unable to make coffee in the morning. We were not told which room we would be staying in until we arrived, I would not have booked the room if I had known there was as no shower. The outside noise also woke us up multiple times. We just were not comfortable here at all.

The location is excellent within the charming town of Natchez. MaryBeth was a wonderful host and we particularly enjoyed the freshly baked muffins at breakfast!

Hostess takes time to help you plan your trip to Natchez and makes a great breakfast using local food (some from her garden). Some road noise, but stops around 10 PM

Location and food were very good.

The breakfast was not that great. Great butter choices, but not hot. Bacon was microwaved and pancakes thin and rubbery. The meal was served well, though.

- Paul (9/5): A quaint and delightful place to stay - Charming property in a convenient location for walking into town. Our host Marybeth was tremendously kind and helpful. We were free to use the kitchen, lounge and dining rooms of the throughout the day and evening. Our room at the back of the house had quite a small window and seemed rather dark, but was otherwise comfortable.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional - The location was great; an easy walk to restaurants and bars downtown. Breakfast was superb! I only regret we weren't able to spend more than one night.

Our friends that stayed said it was great! Loved seeing the pictures and all the displays she had of the history of this house!

- Craig (10/5): We would not consider any other place to stay in Natchez - Marybeth is an exceptional host. Even as soon as we arrived we were treated like family. We checked in on a Sunday and the previous days there was a hot balloon festival. With that said, everyone seemingly had already left resulting with us being the only ones in the house. Our host opened her home to us and as she was leaving said "treat the place like it was your grandmother's". We look forward to a return visit.

- Candy (9/5): Great Mother and Daughter weekend getaway. - Budget friendly and use of the entire house except for the other rented rooms. It’s right on the main thoroughfare so loud traffic and peddle bar carts. We brought a box fan so it drowned out the excess noise when we were ready to go to sleep.

We were in upstairs bedroom— spacious, comfortable beds, good air conditioning. My one recommendation would be that they find a way to work in a shower stall in the bathroom.

Met us at the property to ensure we knew where everything was located and gave us a history of the home. Delicious breakfast in the morning. Very clean accommodations. There was no shower curtain for the shower which is kind of odd.
