- Shayna (10/5): - Cute and cozy. Everything we needed. Location was great!
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful location and charming rooms - makeup mirror, fluffy towels, comfortable toilet paper, etc. The king bed in Room 4 was very comfortable, and there was a choice of pillows to accommodate different preferences. The room was very clean. Having a well-stocked Keurig for coffee and tea in the room was much appreciated. The price point was spot on for the quality.
- Pamela (10/5): - Lovely property. Nice walking area. Nice restaurants near by.
- Kerri (8/5): - The service was great

- Valeta (10/5): Worth it - Loved this truly unique experience. Ghost scare and all! Actually there never was a ghost but I was convinced there was or a day after my drawers opened up on their own. (Found out later from Kim that they open if they are not shut tight. Charming, old place with modern flare
- Ann (10/5): - Very nice room with beautiful view of the frozen river. Walking distance to restaurants. I would stay again.
- Bruce (10/5): - As described in the questionaire answers.
- Joan (10/5): - Very friendly service: we felt welcome! We had 2 rooms for our family conveniently located next door to each other. We definitely would stay again if we are in the area.
- John (10/5): Quaint and cute place downtown loved it - Great staff
- Michael (10/5): Great stay in Lowell - This was my second time at Main Street Inn and I’m a huge fan of staying in the Lowell or Ada area. The rooms were comfortable and the entire stay was easy and convenient.
- kathleen (6/5): - When i was booking my room Expedia said our room #5 had a queen and a twin bed. It did not.. When we arrived at our room all that was there was a queen bed. When i asked where the twin bed was the staff member brought in a roll away bed. Needless to say I was very disappointed. The extra bed made the room very small and it was hard a rock. Also #5 is right on main street so the traffic noise was considerable. In short I did not enjoy my stay.
- Beth (10/5): - Main Street Inn is a quaint inn right in the heart of Lowell. The moment your greeted by the front desk you realize it is both beautiful and welcoming. The room had everything you needed and was reminiscent of a B&B. The common area upstairs had a kitchen and living room area. I would definitely stay again.
- Pamela (10/5): - Very unique. Lovely town.
- Pamela (10/5): - Lovely place to stay. Nice shops nearby as well as restaurants and bars.
- Sheryl (10/5): - Absolutely beautiful, charming inn on the water!
- Rich (10/5): - Nice clean quiet room. Bring eye shades as the room had a skylight which couldn’t block the morning light.
- Beth (10/5): Main Street Inn - The host was so nice! She was very accommodating. The inn was in a great location and it’s charming!
- Margaret (10/5): Very quaint Inn and charming town - It was a delightful stay. Innkeepers were all very nice and as a family we had nice community areas to gather.
- Verified traveler (10/5): A quick visit. - It was a one night stay. Room was lovely. Bed was very comfortable. The only drawback is the rooms are upstairs and only access is the stairs. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.
- Judy (10/5): - Very charming on the Flat river. The view of the river , the fish jumping, and the swans gracing the river were a sight to behold. Convenient for dining. The desk personnel was extremely helpful, and delightful. I recommend this facility.
- Bridget (10/5): - Loved it. Help was wonderful. Room was so spacious.
- Dacia (10/5): - Would stay & recommend friends & family in a heartbeat.
- Sanford (10/5): - Lovely Inn with a very helpful and accommodating staff!
- Matt (10/5): - Great place friendly people clean rooms
- Renee (10/5): Loved my stay - Loved my stay at the Main Street Inn. Lovely staff and beautiful rooms. A kitchen on each floor, and also several good restaurants nearby. Everything was great, and I will definitely return if I am in the area in the future.
- James (10/5): - This was my third stay and it was a pleasure as always!
- Robert (10/5): - Very quaint, old and solid construction, on the scenic river.
- James (10/5): - Friendly staff. There are a few restaurants within walking distance.
- Jay (10/5): - It was amazing and very clean! Love main street inn
- jeffrey (10/5): - Nice property, right on the water. Clean, quite with a few dining options in walking distance.
- Susan (10/5): - Main Street Inn is amazing,,,the staff is so welcoming and friendly....the Inn itself is stunning and the area is so quaint...the room was beautiful and so clean. We will be back for sure.
- Jamen (10/5): - I loved my stay here. Front desk attendant was extremely nice, the place is quiet and clean. It sits right next to the river and is right around the corner from a fantastic Mexican restaurant.
Will definitely be staying here again!
- Jay (10/5): - Main Street Inn is beautiful and well laid out for it's tenants!
- Rein (10/5): - They have created a unique boutique hotel that was very welcoming and comfortable. The place was clean and the staff friendly
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Beautiful little hotel on the river. The beds seemed old and worn out in the room we stayed in.
- Nancy (10/5): - The view is excellent. It was very quiet.
- Walt (10/5): - Nice view of the river.
- Sonya (10/5): Great little place to stay - Nice room, great service, wonderful little area downtown with lots to do close
- ANTHONY (10/5): - We really enjoyed staying at Main Street Inn. Downtown Lowell is awesome. The inn was very clean and charming.
- Patrick (10/5): Outstanding! - Very good service, lovely room, beautifully clean. Room is offa shared, common kitchen/living area which I was allowed to utilize and where I even socialized with fellow travellers. Outstanding view of the river!
- ann (10/5): - Has a nice, small-town feel. Very nice balcony overlooking the river. Very quiet and comfortable.
- Linda (10/5): - Right in the heart of downtown Lowell. Easy parking, many restaurants close by. Great recommendations by the inn keeper. On the first floor, we had access to a deck/balcony overlooking the Flat River, which was lovely. However, all our adjoining neighbors had access to the same deck area, and they woke us up early in the morning by clomping around had oooh-ing and aaahh-ing over the views.
Would go back.
- Rachel (10/5): - Beautiful! On the River. Great view. Feels homey. Definitely planning on staying again!
- David (10/5): Will be back - Room was nice. Spacious and well stocked. Check in was fast and friendly.
- Jack (10/5): - Great facility and enjoyed the downtown.
- Hardy (10/5): delightful and cozy - the rooms are nice, clean and cozy, the double headed showers are fantastic! the street side room I had unfortunately was a bit louder with traffic than I'd like. there is a communal kitchen with most essential amenities if you prefer to dine in. but if you prefer more privacy there is a coffee maker in the room and plenty of restaurant options near by.
- Patricia (10/5): - N/A
- Jake (10/5): 1 night in a small town. - I've never felt so at home before while staying on the road. From walking in the door to passing through the shared kitchen area you instantly feel like you're at home. The stone showers are a classy way to wind down after a long drive. They really go above and beyond when it comes to making you feel welcomed.
- Thomas (10/5): Great place! -Parking is on street, no parking lot - Great stay and nice place. I didn't care for the on street parking but other than that great. We did not have any problems with parking.
- Yvonne (10/5): - What a charming place!
- Lawrence (10/5): - Likes:
The whole second floor
The view from the rear of inn
The cleanliness of the inn
The location in relation to shops and restaurants
Dislikes:
Early morning and late night traffic noise
(Not under the inn's control)
- Ruth (10/5): Peaceful retreat - Beautiful setting. Our windows over looked the river. There was a nice deck to sit on that over looked the river.
- Robert (10/5): - Unique, "charming"
and relaxing, high quality. Way above the average motel experience. Large well-appointed rooms with
many "extras." So much, for a truly reasonable price.
No breakfast, but coffee, snacks, etc. available. Plus, you are in the center of downtown Lowell's Rivertown (Showboat City) shopping, restaurant and entertainment district. Brief easy walk.
Or bring your own and use the xommunity room's large refrig, microwave, and tasteful seating area.
- Linda (10/5): - This was a unique little hotel in a historic building in town. Our room was Room 7 with a balcony that opens up to an amazing view of the river. The room was huge with a big bathroom and whirlpool tub. Walking through town was interesting with the Flat River going through and meeting up to the Grand River. Lots of very good places to eat. Would definitely stay here again.
- Regina (10/5): - A beautiful inn right in the heart of town…beautiful community space with a large kitchen and Amazing view…felt like you were in your own home only only better
- David (10/5): - Location on the river
- Justin (10/5): - Excellent service and a very cute place to stay.
- MARK (10/5): - Room #1 has a beautiful view. Room was comfortable and clean. Staff is courteous and professional.
- John (10/5): - I love how quaint this adorable place is. I enjoy every visit I've been to this place, only bad thing I could say is that they are very popular and book out really fast, so with very limited options in that area, plan your visit early 😁
- John (10/5): Quaint Little Place - Amazing, Friendly staff! Very clean and quaint. Look forward to my next visit!
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Clean, good location, very helpful staff
- Cathryn (10/5): - This place is great! Very pleasant, clean, comfortable, we’ll certainly be back! The staff we dealt with were very kind and helpful. Price was very reasonable too, I’ve paid a lot more and got a lot less at other places I’ve stayed.
- Kayla (6/5): - To start this off I just want to say this is a super cozy inn and I wish I could give it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ but, the mattress was incredibly uncomfortable and hard BUT the sheets/blankets were super soft! The view of the water was beautiful, especially at night but the outside car traffic was pretty loud.
- Kay (10/5): Great stay - Very nice hotel. Comfortable and quiet. Great location for visiting family in Lowell
- Erica (10/5): - The hotel is very charming and clean. Lowell is a cute tiny and the locals are very nice. Service was great at hotel and nearby restaurant. Only downside of the hotel room was no thermostat to control individual room temp so it was a little chilly but not unbearable.
- LORRAINE (10/5): - I liked that it close to my grand-daughter. Very clean, staff was awesome
- Rena (10/5): - Always an excellent stay!
- Kathryn (10/5): A plus - Amazing
- Sara (10/5): - We liked the homey, quaint feeling.
- Lillie (10/5): Great for over night business trip - The lobby hours are defined, you have to arrive by 9 pm in order to get checked in, or call and make arrangements. I got there at 8 pm and was fine. The interior is much better looking than outside. The rooms are old charm, but the common areas ar amazing: full kitchen, large living room and balcony over the water. I had the spaces to myself, probably because I got in late, but it was nice. However, the common spaces are right at the rooms, so I can imagine loud would bother other customers.
- William (10/5): Immaculate - The restored historic building was immaculate throughout.
We will stay here every time we need to stay in this area.
- Brian Patrick (2/5): - Room Five is right on Main Street. This isn’t a quiet street, but a heavily-trafficked state thoroughfare. Cars and big trucks go by all night, sometimes making the whole room shake.
If there was climate control in the room, I could not locate it; I was often uncomfortably cold, and couldn’t fix it.
A giant skylight renders the room-darkening blinds and drapes useless. When the sun comes up, you’ll be up too, regardless.
Trying to nap is a bust: the skylight floods the entire room with light all day, and there is no way to block it out.
Though the common areas and location are lovely, this was sadly not the place for me to get a good night’s rest.
- Lana (10/5): Nice place - Nice inn with a great view
- Jacob (10/5): Hidden gem of Lowell, MI! - Beautiful property located in the center of town on the waterfront with easy access to local restaurants and stores.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - right on the river
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Beautifully furnished. Quaint and charming atmosphere. Front desk was very helpful.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - This is a wonderful shining gem in the middle of downtown Lowell!
- Verified traveler (8/5): - we really enjoyed our stay
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Exceptionally clean, well kept, and well furnished. By far a huge upgrade to Super 8, Days Inn, etc.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - On the water overlooking the river
- Kristy (10/5): - Staff was friendly. We were walking distance to everything we needed. I will definitely be returning!
- Sarah (10/5): Main Street Inn stay exceptional! - This hotel is amazing! A beautiful view and easy access to beautiful downtown Lowell. Staff and rooms are very clean and friendly. Will definitely return.
- james (10/5): Beautiful room - A beautiful room with a beautiful view. Innkeeper was very accommodating. I will definitely stay here again.
- Kimberly (10/5): Love this place - Have stayed here before and will again. Quaint and charming and right near all the "action."
- Leanne (10/5): - Very clean and nice. Went to visit grandsons in Grand Rapids/Lowell area. Would stay again and highly recommend it. Fishing from belconley was really nice.
- George (10/5): Awesome - Excellent little boutique hotel
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Unique rooms, clean, homey, spacious common rooms, great for groups.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Very nice place but no elevator and I have bad knees
- Verified traveler (8/5): - Our room we were in was a little small, the bathroom door was hitting the shower, had to shut door to get to toliet. One of he shelfs in shower was broke. The window above the door made a lot of noise with the shade up there not sure if there is a not sealed window or if it was the vents causing it. It creeped me out in the middle of the night. It was a neat little set up, pillows were wonderful, sheets were top notch, extremely clean. Not sure if I liked the community fridge. Loved the location.
