• Jan (10/5): - LOVED the aesthetics of the place. Really beautiful. It was kept extremely clean. Erna was amazing. Check in and check out was super easy. If it had been possible, I would have stayed longer. On a scooter, It's about a 20min ride from the airport. It's also a 3-5min scooter ride to the 'biggest' beach club in the world, atlas. There's lots of good places to eat and also to buy things incase you need to use their fully equipped kitchen. I will definitely be back. And I will bring my partner with me next time. It's next to a street but I sleep like a log so the noise didn't bother me one bit. LOVE love it.

• Molly (10/5): You will not regret your stay ! - I honestly do not have a single complaint about this place , the rooms are beautiful , I had the bungalow which had a beautiful view of the pool and garden. The building looks exactly like the photos , if not better! The ladies who work here are lovely, my check in was unexpectedly late and they left a note with instructions on the door for me which made it seamlessly easy and took any stress away from my first solo accommodation. I met some lovely guests as there are 2-3 other rooms , but barely saw each other . Located right next to food joints and 8min drive to the beach. The street is noisy but that’s most places it seems but you are supplied with lots of earplugs. If you love animals there’s a little cat named meong who is sometimes peacefully sleeping in the garden. Theres fridge space and condiments , there was filtered water and ice too . Honestly just the perfect little escape . I spent more time in gypsy moon in my two days there then exploring Bali, I would’ve stayed an extra night but it was booked! I’ll definitely be coming back 🌸

• Ondřej (8/5): Very good - Considering its age, the accommodation looks quite nice. The air conditioning is fine, and the amenities are satisfactory. The entire complex is well-designed. However, be cautious about the location! On Booking.com, it’s listed as being in a cul-de-sac, but in reality, it’s on a main street that connects two areas. Be prepared for motorcycle noise from 6 AM to midnight. Additionally, there’s poultry nearby, including a rooster that wakes up early.

The moment I stepped onto the property, I was struck by the incredible summer and Greek-inspired vibes that permeated the entire space. The villa itself is an architectural marvel, with its whitewashed walls, terracotta roofs, and stunning open-air design. The interiors are just as impressive, featuring a harmonious blend of modern amenities and traditional Balinese touches. The bedrooms are spacious and airy, each with its own private en-suite bathroom, and the living areas are perfect for lounging and socializing. One of the standout features of GypsyMoon is the incredible outdoor space. The villa is surrounded by lush, tropical gardens that create a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The infinity pool is the perfect spot to cool off and soak up the sun, while the beautifully appointed outdoor lounge areas are perfect for enjoying a glass of wine or a meal with friends and family. But what truly sets GypsyMoon apart is the exceptional staff. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The team was always on hand to assist with any request, whether it was arranging a private chef, booking a day trip, or simply providing recommendations for the best local cafes and restaurants. Speaking of which, the villa's location is truly ideal. It's situated just a short distance from some of the most vibrant and trendy neighborhoods in Bali, with an abundance of coffee shops, boutiques, and eateries within easy reach. I found myself constantly exploring the nearby streets, discovering new and exciting places to indulge in Bali's incredible culinary scene. Overall, my stay at GypsyMoon Bali was an absolute delight n/a
• Katherine (8/5): Great value! - The room was small, but well put together and comfy! Staff were very helpful and friendly, even when I arrived after check-in had closed. They were great in communicating how I could get in and where my room and key would be. My room was near the street, so it was a bit noisy overnight. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs.
• Beekhuis (10/5): Exceptional - We stayed in the little house next to the pool, it was clean, comfy, cozy and romantic. The ventilator worked really well and it was overall a very pleasant stay! In the bathroom you could find shampoo, conditioner, bodywash, towels for in the bathroom and towels for the pool! The staff was really nice and helpful. One time we left the door open (our own fault) and a big lizard entered my room and sat next to me on the bed but the lady from the office came in like a hero en saved me from the lizard

Decoration of the hotel is beyond good it has boho cozy vibe, i will stay here again There is construction going on next building, but when they asked how was my sleep i said it was noisy they offered me to change the room it was very nice. Because of location and decoration, i did not care about noise next door so much anyways its during day and i was out during the day

The pool is cleaned daily and room was cleaned during the day which I love (you can request for no clean if you want too). The staff were helpful and really sweet. Our room was beautiful, had A/C and all toiletries etc. The location is great, everything is close by. We rented a scooter around the corner and Gypsy Moon had a parking space for the bikes. Pool was nice and warm in the morning. The kitchen had everything we needed. Just fantastic! We will definitely be staying again.

Bed was comfy and use of spacious clean kitchen with all amenities. Hosts are quick to respond and lovely. The room faced the street so you do hear the traffic, early morning rooster and dogs barking if you’re a light sleeper.

• Sean (3/5): Instagramable but not pleasant - In a vert good location and the hostel is very 'instagramable'. The air-conditioning was very good and the bed comfortable. We stayed in the pool access room. The room is basically a shed which provides no insulation from the noises outside. It is right next to the road which is very busy and means we were kept awake all night with sound of traffic and animals barking. The bathroom roof is open on one side meaning that bugs and animals can get in. The room has gaps in the wall which means bugs get into the bedroom and onto the bed. One night a bird got into bathroom and a stray cat almost got in through the open roof. The room provided no privacy as only a small curtain covers the door. The room has no sound insulation so when speaking inside you can be heard from the outside. The pool is dirty and doesn't seem to be cleaned very often. Staff were very unwelcoming and no information given on arrival. Giving the hostel and eerie atmosphere. Staff did not replace toilet roll on any of the days after room cleaning and had to go request it.
