Auf kleinstem Raum und bis ins kleinste Detail sind wirklich alle nützlichen Dinge perfekt eingerichtet. Zudem gibt es im Preis inbegriffen ein wirklich tolles Frühstück. Man hat die Wahl zwischen einem thailändischen, amerikanischen, veganen oder vegetarischen Frühstück. Die Gastfrau ist sehr herzlich und ist bei Fragen immer erreichbar. Sie Unterkunft befindet sich mitten in der Altstadt - gute Lage.

• Katarina (10/5): - The place is small but very clean. It is very close to the centre but very quiet. It is like you step back in time. Staff is very friendly and polite. You have different types of breakfast to choose from, and the food is tasty. The place feels very safe. There is a front gate that is always locked, and you can open it with the key card you will get with check-in. I would definitely stay there again.

• Boris (10/5): Super moment et hôtes très sympathiques - Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au Green Teak House, où une famille au complet nous a accueillis comme des amis. Outre l’emplacement idéal, la magnifique vieille maison en teck, et une literie ultra confortable, la gentillesse de chacun des membres de cette famille nous a touché. Ils sont adorables, généreux, très gentils avec nos enfants à qui ils ont permis de jouer avec leur fillette dans la piscine de leur cour, pour faire face aux grosses chaleurs. Les deux chambres en elles même sont confortables et pleine de charme, excentrées de la rue principale ce qui en garantit la tranquillité, le quartier est vivant et proche des grands lieux touristiques du vieux centre. Nous reviendrons avec un grand plaisir, lors d’un prochain séjour à Bangkok. Merci encore.

The room is perfect for a family with comfy beds and a spacious bathroom, all spotlessly clean. This is more a home stay than a hotel due to the layout (rooms surrounding a courtyard with some used for accommodation) and the exceptional hosts who are amazing. They were extremely hospitable and friendly, and very kind - they allowed us late check in on arrival (Songkran traffic delay) and assisted us on leaving at 4:30am including providing a packed snack. They made recommendations on things to see close to the hotel and arranged transport for a floating market trip. The Thai breakfast is delicious, with awesome food and nice strong coffee. The location is great being close to many tourist spots as well as interesting food places (the dumpling restaurant by the hotel is good). This was the best stay we have had due to the hosts and their kindness and hospitality, and so I would like the thank and recommend them to anyone travelling to Bangkok. Nothing!

The staff were very attentive and caring, even getting up before the crack of dawn to see us off when we had an early flight. We loved it here and wish we had booked this place on our way back of our Thailand tour too.

Very welcoming hostess! We were greeted warmly and presented with a lot of information about the city, places to visit, got some useful hints. It seems that we actually were the only guests during our 4 night stay, and the staff was super attentive and helpful to all our requests. The beautiful inner yard, two pretty parrots chirping, and some nice music created a very peaceful, cozy and isolated environment while remaining right in the heart of the old centre. Will recommend this anytime and return there without hesitation!

• Andrea (8/5): calm oasis in the center of Bangkok - - The lady managing the place is very helpful and kind. She is very comfortable with English - Breakfast in the morning was great. You can choose the type of food. We chose Thai food and the lady was preparing delicious dishes, also explaining to us those dishes - the courte at the center of the hotell, right in front of our room, was a very nice place to get breakfast - During the night it is very calm. you can sleep very well - the air conditioning was good, you could tune it in a soft mode so that it is very comfortable and you don't get cold - you find a too hot duvet in the bed, for the temperature. If you like to sleep covered with a sheet that is appropriate for the temperature, it might be not good to have either a very hot duvet or nothing at all. However, we just removed the duvet from the duvet cover and we just slept with the cover, which was ok. - no fridge in the room. there is a common fridge, from where you can take bottles of water (and you can pay them by leaving money). but a fridge inside the room would have been helpful to store private stuff - some light from the day penetrates in the room. if you need perfect obscurity, bring your mask (we did no, and it was good) - not clear, at the moment of booking, what room you'll get, if it is in the 1st floor or at the ground floor (or maybe we did not understand). we got a room in the ground floor, which was however ok

It was a family home and this made it feel very special and authentically Thai. • Matthew (10/5): A Hidden Gem in Bustling Bangkok - Green Teak House is a hidden gem in bustling Bangkok. It is quiet, peaceful, beautiful, and comfortable. There are 3 rooms, soft cotton sheets, cold AC, and an outstanding breakfast including fried rice, stir fried pork, and a huge plate of fruit (we ordered the Thai breakfast). The host will go out of her way to make your stay exceptional, including buying a baby pool for my kids to help us cool off after a day exploring! The location is great being within walking distance to Khoa San, Jay Fai, and the Imperial Palace/Wat Po, while maintaining a quiet neighborhood feel. We highly recommend this place!! Cash only, we would have liked to pay with credit card.

The owner was super friendly and helpful and made delicious Thai breakfasts for us each morning. Loved our time here and enthusiastically recommend this guesthouse. A bit of noise transfer, but not bothersome.

We stayed in a lovely room with our own private balcony, accessed by a spiral staircase. Breakfast was freshly prepared with options to meet everyone's preferences. The location was great, close to major temples, markets and other attractions. Host was very welcoming and so helpful. Returning to the quiet, relaxing atmosphere at the Green Teak House after a busy day in Bangkok was the best. Would definitely stay there again.

• Eckhard (10/5): Exceptional - Calm old house in a lively part of the historical city centre - you find mini restaurants, food stands, cafés and even a street market for vegetables, seafood etc. (Trok Mor *morning* market) very close by. Grand Palace, Kao San, and much nicer: Ram Buttri and Dam Den quarters are all easily walkable. The lady and also the maid are extremely nice, welcome & farewell drink and snack were served, wondering fil Thai breakfast .... And after a night flight, I was given full check-in at 9am without surcharge! I liked everything very much

• Owen (10/5): Family stay in Bangkok - Comfortable and clean rooms overlooking a tranquil courtyard. The location of the guesthouse is excellent for reaching Khao San Rd and Phra Athit on foot, as well as authentic neighbourhoods and markets, with a metro station and China town not too far away by tuk tuk or taxi. We liked the welcome and the home-cooked breakfast so much we stayed twice, once at the beginning of our trip, and again at the end of our holiday. So glad we did. Nothing to say
• Victoria (8/5): Lovely stay in Bangkok in a convenient location - The owner and staff are lovely and made lots of effort to make sure we enjoyed our stay in Bangkok. Peaceful location off a busy street and in easy walking distance of lots of attractions. Very homely feel and the property is well cared for. The room was small, but we didn’t intend to spend much time there so it was perfect for us!
• Barbara (10/5): Exceptional - Lady of the House was so nice. Thai breakfast was delucious. When we went on a tour very early she made us snacks for the trip. She arranged taxi for the airport. Gave us all information where to eat, what to see. Location is fine, walking distance to many places. First night AC didn't work, but they fixed next day.

• Adya (10/5): great place, highly recommend - excellent location and beautiful house. very kind host . loved the stay and the breakfast, it was very homely and convenient for travel nothing, maybe would be a little more convenient if they took card payment (was cash only) but that’s the case for most places in Thailand I realized
• Eidell (10/5): Nice Guest House, Great Owner - Owner is very friendly and helpful. She helped me organize my onward travel as well as providing advice on local attractions. Good location for exploring Bangkok. Breakfast is freshly cooked, with fresh squeezed orange juice, fruit, tea or coffee, as well as main dish. Room was clean and everything worked great. Owner even provided free snacks! Nothing
• Stefan (9/5): tranquil centrally located oasis - Lovely location near some local markets. Nice friendly owner, we loved the thai breakfast and tranquil atmosphere of the guesthouse . The owner can organise convenient transfers to airport.
