• Gaayathri (9/5): Great, and will repeat - Initially, it seemed like the hotel was in a secluded place as the car could not go in. Then we realised that the place is super strategic, especially for water activity. We enjoyed the walk throughout this whole place, especially during the nightlife. People around are very friendly even though it was dark and quiet it seemed pretty safe and of course our hotel had its own Security Guard which added to the safety. The cute part is I actually saw a crab near the building which was the usual place where common pests like rats/lizards hide. Overall it was an amazing place. The restaurant above had good food which was truly enjoyable and delicious. The room actually had place to hang clothes on the outside. The only downside which is not even a big bother was the outside noise and loud music could be heard a little, but we were not bothered as we were too tired and just dozed off. The bathroom was clean and minimalistic the air-conditioner was quite functional and the room was apt. Overall very satisfied and definitely coming back here to the same hotel. The Owner was friendly and offered us good-value diving packages. To be honest, nothing
• Erich (8/5): Top Lage! - Die Lage war top! Ebenfalls klappte alles super mit dem Tauchen. Jonny unterstützte super, danke! Das Personal war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr gut!

• glenn (7/5): Peaceful and perfectly placed for everything Moalbaol - We was slightly worried when we entered the room and there was ear plugs on the bed but we then found out it for when the dive compressor is running during the day incase you want a mid afternoon nap This place is right in the doorstep of the sardines with a beach directly opposite the rooms. The breakfast was slow to arrive With nearly a 50 minute wait from ordering and there was only 5 of us in the place The food in the restaurant was good quality.

• Michael (4/5): - I mean for the price you pay in the Philippines you don’t get a whole lot. It might partially be due to locale and the isolation. For reference my room which was on the bottom floor, was always wet. Like the sheets were damp even after 2 days there and the air conditioning on to dehumidify the place. My book that I brought along, the pages were damp after two days there. There was literally condensation dripping from the ceiling when I first came. And at night since you’re so close to a bar you hear loud music all night long. Lighting was poor, facilities dated. It was clean but honestly that’s the most I can say.
• Rebecca (10/5): - They supply earplugs. This is good for light sleepers. There is a yard with at least 20 roosters close to the back of the property. They start long before sunrise and go into the night. There are also 3 different locals nearby doing very loud karaoke and you can hear them all at the same time. Filipinos LOVE their karaoke. Otherwise, everything about this place is perfect. We absolutely loved our stay here.

• Victor (2/5): Choose a better option - Almost nothing it was a really… really decent hotel When we arrived, there was no one at the reception to welcome us. There wasn’t even a proper check-in process. We simply told them we had a reservation and my name, and they barely acknowledged us. It seemed like we were bothering them. They reluctantly gave us a key and nothing more. We had also requested separate beds, and this was confirmed before arrival. However, we found a double bed instead, even though I was staying with my mother. When we asked them to separate the beds, they acted like it was a huge inconvenience. Additionally, the staff was extremely rude and unpleasant. They were noisy, talking loudly and coughing early in the morning. The hotel is located right next to a nightclub, which blasts deafening music until 3 a.m. The room safe was useless—it didn’t work, and the housekeeper gave us her own code to access it. This completely defeated the purpose of having a safe, as she could open it anytime. Overall, the staff’s attitude and the service were truly Disappointing

• Trevor (8/5): - Beachfront Great central location. Opposite a late night bar so music and chickens can be heard. Construction rubble and noise in Dec 2024 so that was annoying as no mention when hotel was booked

• Richard (4/5): - 30 minutes into check in I saw a huge cockroach. I couldn't cancel so I had to sleep with the lights on the entire rest of my stay.
• Travis (2/5): I only stayed 1 of my 4 nights, I moved to a different resort on my second day. But i do thank Neptune for not charging - They didn’t charge me for my remaining nights when I decided to switch hotels. Thank you for this. When I arrived, they told me I had a “split booking”, meaning my first two nights would be in one room, then I would need to switch rooms for my last two nights. They blamed booking.com for this error instead of just owning their mistake…this really bothered me. The location, although right next to the water, was not a good location and really difficult for transport. The room, although clean, was as basic as I’ve ever seen. The vibe upon entering this resort was that of a dive shop and not a hotel.
• Christopher (4/5): never again - nothing really for the amount of money we paid I was expecting more. My room had no soap, no trash can, no TV. The power was out in my room all day until 5 pm and the toilet only worked half the time. it was also in a bad part of town where a lot of tuk tuk drivers would not go as the road was too narrow.
• Josef (4/5): - Wer hier nur Tauchen mit vorhandener Lizenz will und dabei das Hotel weniger interessiert ist hier richtig. Zum tauchen gibt es hier sehr viele Möglichkeiten. Aber vom Hotel bin ich nicht begeistert. -Das Internet fällt häufig aus. -Der Heizer für die Dusche funktionierte nicht. -2 Facher Kakerlaken besuch da wir ein Fenster nicht schließen konnten. Außerdem war angegeben das hier viele Sprachen verstanden werden. Ich konnte nur englisch feststellen
• Kirshner (3/5): Poor - Location We had a leaking from the ceiling over the night, and it ruined our night and our stay in the hotel. We we approach the reception to tell them about it in the morning, they didn't offer to change our room they've only offer a free breakfast as a compensation. They've told us that because we booked the room with booking.com, they can't offer us a discount.
• Kjartan (4/5): Disappointing - Good location There was almost no water in the shower and the sink, and it was very low pressure.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - No wifi, room smells of sewage, rooster farm next door, excursions are not all inclusive as they will tell you. Bring money with you to pay up charges.
• Dive (3/5): Quite disappointing. Very unfriendly staff. Rooms are not cleaned. I left 1 day early. - It's a nice room with aircon. Too bad they don't clean it while you are there. You can not flush your toiletpaper, so after 3 days the whole room smelled like..... used toiletpaper...... This is not a "resort" . It's a divecenter with a couple of rooms. Located right at the beach where you can see the sardines, snorkeling or diving. I booked for 5 nights and left after 4, since I really didn't like it here. No refund, which was fine by me. Staff is not friendly at all. (only the lady at the reception and the boat captain are) The rest don't even speak to you or bother to say goodmorning. I've been traveling the Philippines since 2007 and have never come across staff like this. The beds are rock hard. I could barely sleep and woke up every day with a painfull body. The shower was much too hot, so I couldn't even use it. Especially after diving. I informed the reception but nothing was done. The "road" leading to the place is non-existing. Which is rather odd for one of the biggest tourist destinations in Cebu. Even tricycles can not ride there. You'd think with 100.000's of visitors a year they could put a few bricks in the dirt.
• Fredrik (8/5): Focus on Scuba Diving. - 5-star PADI center. Situated directly at the beach/shorline. Very good for guests with focus on scuba diving. The rom was clean and good aircon but we missed a frige and sideborads (those in the picture shown wasn’t there). Also, the shower was poor. Breakfast is filippino style with few choices. However, the diving and the service is very good and friendly, they have their own boat and Nitrox filling. One of few diving resorts in Moalboal accepting credit cards. Good English skills. The only negative to say about diving in Moalboal in general, is that there are no possibilities for wreck diving, hence the wreck diving course is not available (This is valid for all diveresorts in Moalboal). When ever back to Moalboal, we will return to Neptune Dive Resort!
• Michael (4/5): - Great place to stay for diving and convenience. Neptune is right there and near one of the best bars. But, Roosters are so loud, one outsid my window that they said I jist had to deal with. Philipines has roosters...everywhere...but outside my room at 5 am....warn people! Plus, drilling from property next door from 2-4 pm was grueling trying to relax, had to leave room. Told lady at front, she had no.idea. Walls very thin and u can hear everything. Price was ok...clean....but noise was way too much...bring ear plugs and just be aware...good place and location, just so damn loud

They are very helpful in solving customer problems and making the trip better. I would highly recommend the place to others and would definitely dive if I had the chance to come back.

• JAMES (8/5): - NO TV's in the room.....so if you like tv....you will be lacking at this place, and getting there you have to go down road that's VERY despicable, full of potholes and mud, but once there the place was nice and so were the people, and the town.....GREAT RESTAURANTS EVERYWHERE!! This place has grown over the last 5 or 6 years...hardly even recognize it anymore, but its improved so much....still fun, and a great place for expats to vacation!!

• Amabelle (10/5): I recommend this place - The room was clean. The restaurant offered a view of the ocean. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We brought two more guests with us and the staff helped us find another place to stay since they were fully booked. The sardine run and sea turtle diving location was right in front of the hotel, super convenient! Loud music from the club next door, we stayed from Saturday to Sunday so it was a bit of a challenge falling asleep. It is perfect for people who are there to party at night since you won’t have to walk far to get back to your hotel.
• Silvia (10/5): Loved everything about my stay here - I loved everything about my stay here. The position is exceptional - within 30mt from the shore, we had turtles, sardine run, and an amazingly varied sea fauna and flora to explore. The resort is on the beach. You can almost jump in the water from the reception, it's that close. The attached restaurant is exceptional and quite possibly my favorite spot in all Moalboal. We spent basically every free moment there as it had an exceptional view on the channel and Pescador island (and the sunset). Food was amazing and the staff was super welcoming. The resort staff was also super helpful when we wanted to book day trips to the Alegria falls and to Oslob, and were able to accommodate us adding an extra night quite fast and smoothly. The only possible thing to improve (but it's honestly an extremely minor element) was that the room wasn't cleaned daily, but more ad hoc. We mostly didn't care and were able to organize quite well without.

• Victor (4/5): - My room was overbooked and was told at first that I didn’t check out, then I was told that the the room was over booked. I had to pack all my things and move to another room that was exactly the same trypsin of room I was in. It was the inconvenience of having to pack up my things with an hour while I was rushing because I had a tour to get to. Plus, there was a sort in the buildings wiring and some rooms had no electricity for around an hour, no issue just a fast fix and it was up and running.

Le personnel est très sympathique, juste un bémol pour le bruit des bars la nuit, mais apparemment cela va être solutionné sous peu. Propreté impeccable!
• Scott (6/5): Friendly staff, but below party accommodation - Hotel is steps from most popular bar in town, which can be good or bad depending on opinion. On Saturday night, music and talking can be easily heard in rooms well past midnight. 2 top sheets were all that was provided for "covers " and they were folded on bed upon check-in (bed was not made).
• YOUNG JU (10/5): 바다앞 위치 좋고 가성비 좋은 숙소~ - 묵었던 9번방은 답답함도 없고 산뜻한 컨디션이었어요~ 수압도 좋고 에어컨도 시원~^^ 침구도 깨끗하였음 숙소 바로앞이 바다라서 수영도 바로바로~ 근처 식당도 자유롭게 이용할수 있어서 위치도 좋았답니다~^^

• ByungSoo (10/5): - 일단 음식점이랑 해변가가 바로 옆이여서 좋았고 또한 장비(프리다이빙) 를 세척할수 있어서 너무 좋았습니다. 소음에 잠을 못자는 사람에게는 권하지는 않지만 칠리바도 바로 앞이고 3층을 이용했는데 뷰가 너무 멋졌습니다

Sehr nette und hilfsbereit sind die Personal.Lage ist auch gut.Tauchen sowie Schnorcheln vor dem Hotel .Nur ein Nachteil ist konnte ab 02:00 einschlafen ,weil vor dem Hotel gibt ein „Chili Bar“ und dort war sehr laute Musik .
• Raphael (10/5): - le Personnel et le management de l’hotel est tout simplement au top. Le resto au dessus du centre de plongee est super et pas cher. Les chambres sont propres, bien aménagée. La salle de bain est fonctionnelle, l’eau est chaude... bref c’est impeccable.
• Ryan (8/5): Great hotel. A little noisy. - Really enjoyed this hotel and will be back when visiting Moalboal. It’s a good budget option for this looking to save. The only thing to note is that the area is noisy. The restaurant attached opens early and they grind coconuts on the hotel building starting at 9am. Additionally, there’s a bar across the street that can’t be quite noisy as well. We were out and about everyday so this didn’t bother us too much but we felt it was something every visitor should know to ensure they book the best hotel for their situation.
• Verified traveler (6/5): 늦은밤 체크인.직원교육 똑바로 시켜야. - 토요일 체크인이였는데 방이 없다고 밤에 쌩쇼를 하고 다른방 구해서 자고 그다음날 아침에 체크인했다.숙소 가드 친구들이 내방을 사용한거 같다.리조트 매니져도 황당해 했고 나도 황당했지만 기분 망치기 싫어서 그냥 헤프닝으로 넘겼다.다시는 이런일이 없어야 한다.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Ziemlich im Zentrum von vielen Bars, d.h. Am Abend bis nachts noch sehr laute Musik. Wer es ruhig mag ist hier falsch. Dafür sehr Strandnah. Viele Schildkröten am Hausriff und der Sardinen - run. Viele Boote aber auch.

Right over the dive shop so you can just roll downstairs in the morning and be ready to dive in ten seconds. Good food options nearby. Helpful staff.
• Solveig (8/5): Dykke/snorkle super hotel - Central placering midt i dykkerparadiset med dykkefaciliteter, restaurant ovenpå og barer omkring. Rent og pænt. Nye værelser. Eneste ulempe er at der ikke er opholdsområde hverken på hotellet eller i området , hvor man kan nyde morgensolen. Ingen liggestole. Ellers er alt fint

• toshikazu (8/5): 初めてのモアルボアル - セブからバンで４時間もかかってしまいましたが（工事渋滞の為）、とても快適なホテルでした。先ずは清潔感があります。シャワー・トイレも問題なく最高でした。自分としては、レストランのイメージがイマイチ（味付け・品質）という感じを受けましたが、次回も必ずお世話になりたいと思いました。
