• Matthew (10/5): Excellent hotel with amazing value for money - This place was fantastic and perfect for our needs. We are a young couple, we hired a car and planned to see a bit of the island, walk into Chania Old Town while doing a few sites/beach days on a drive. This place doesn't have a pool and is around 30 mins walk from the centre of the Old Town. So if you want a close location and lazy days in a hotel then this isn't for you. For us though, it was perfect. Free parking. Also self check in available with clear instructions as we arrived around midnight due to a late flight. You can contact the hotel easily via Whats App. The room was spotless, cleaned every day on request to a high standard. All the staff were so friendly and accommodating. I cannot rate this place highly enough in terms of our needs and expectations. Thank you for a lovely stay and we will be back. Nothing.

• Alina (9/5): Sauber und schön - Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit super netten Gastgeber, schön eingerichtet, hat alles was man braucht und ist sehr gepflegt und sauber. Zur Fuß erreichbar sind paar nette Cafés und auch ein Supermarkt. Bei der Beschreibung der Unterkunft gab es bei der Buchung eine Missverständnis, es wurde aber direkt vom Gastgeber behoben und wir bekamen das Zimmer was wir erwartet haben.

Nous étions au rez-de-chaussée et les voisins du dessus se levaient très tôt et on entendait leur pas dans la chambre. Petite kitchenette mais sans plaque électrique.
• Darja (10/5): Both Chania center and the airport are easy to reach - This place is lovely, clean, with a pretty balcony and very freshly renovated!! Both city center and the airport are very easy to reach! We stayed only one night - in the evening we came in 20 minutes nice walk from Chania center to our hotel room, and in the next morning we had only a quick drive to the airport! We can highly recommend!
• Irene (8/5): - La camera era pulita e carina. La struttura si trova in una zona strategica per raggiungere il centro storico di Chania. La nostra camera era leggermente piccola, ma comunque di dimensioni accettabili. Il vero problema è stata la scarsa insonorizzazione: in particolare, il rumore dell’apertura delle porte delle altre camere risultava molto fastidioso, soprattutto di notte. Durante il soggiorno, alcuni ospiti rientravano alle 2 o 3 del mattino parlando e ridendo ad alta voce, aprendo e chiudendo le porte più volte. Questo ha compromesso la qualità del nostro sonno. Inoltre, in uno dei giorni di pernottamento la camera non è stata rifatta, poiché la signora delle pulizie era assente per il suo giorno libero. Comprendo che sia legittimo che il personale abbia il proprio giorno di riposo, ma ritengo altrettanto importante che venga previsto un sostituto, così da garantire continuità nel servizio.

• Darren (10/5): Exceptional - Irene was a superb hostess and extremely welcoming giving lots of local information. The whole property is finished to a very high standard and our room was top quality. Everything was spotlessly clean and was kept so during our whole stay. There’s nothing to dislike about this property but it might be worth noting that they have the benefit of parking and a car would have been more useful than the buses and would certainly hire a car on the next trip to make full advantage of the surrounding areas.

• Sagaidac (8/5): Very good - It was a spatios apartment, 20 min walking distance to old town, parking included and small nice terrace outside We stayed at first floor so there were a lot of noise, you could hear that people were walking so it was hard to sleep. When we arrived i noticed also some yellow stai stains on my pillow but everything was clean so i can imagine it was just bleach stains. Anyway the host changed the pillow next day

The atmosphere is cozy and authentic, making it easy to relax from the moment you arrive. The rooms are thoughtfully furnished and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The air conditioning works perfectly, which is a big plus during the warmer days. The view from the room is absolutely stunning and adds a special touch to the whole experience. What stands out the most is the staff — genuinely kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Staying here was an absolute pleasure and I would happily return. -

Host and staff are super friendly with excellent communications before we arrived. Easy private parking is provided right at the property. Be sure to follow the directions the host sends you to get to the property. It's a bit tricky and google maps tried to send us places we couldn't go. But if you follow the host's directions you'll come right to it. They also have signs as you get near.

The spaciousness of the room is another big plus as is the quiet neighbourhood, which meant peaceful nights :-) Irene and the rest of the staff are very friendly and prepared to go above and beyond. There's plenty of parking space for those hiring a car. In fact, it would be very suitable for those who are hiring a car and want somewhere relatively close to both the airport and Chania, with a view of exploring further destinations. I rather enjoyed the ~30 min walk into Chania Central's Old Town, particularly as much of it overlooks the coastline. For those who do not have their own car or are not particularly keen on walking, then perhaps look to find something more central.

• Sandra (6/5): Pleasant - What breakfast? Host never answered my request for a late check-out, even though I was the only guest in the building, and she had been very prompt to answer the night before.
• Sandeep (10/5): Lovely stay in a beautiful modern house. - The property is beautiful, it has a nice seating place outside the house for you to relax in with a table and seats. We had the ground floor room and it had a nice modern feel to it. High ceiling, nice interior lights and a good amount of windows to let the sun in. There are several bakeries/cafe near the place plus supermarkets too. It’s not so much that I didn’t like it but for some people if they want a closer commute to the city centre and don’t have a car then this might not be the accommodation. I personally liked how the accomodation was a little out from the city centre and the 15-20 minute walk to get to the city centre isn’t so bad as you can just walk along the coast next to the restaurants. I believe there is parking in the accommodation but we didn’t drive and had a nice time walking into the city centre and back everyday.
• Per (9/5): Superb - Very nice and modern room(s), clean and comfortable. Wonderful towels and comfortable bed. There was also slippers provided. The houses and the garden at the front were also beautiful. I can absolutely recommend this accommodation. Very tight streets makes it a bit difficult to find the Camara residence even with the help of gps.

The host was very friendly and hospitable, We got even a bigger room that what was originally booked. The room was clean, very comfortable, trendy and brand new, you can find every appliences you might need during your holiday. Few parking lots are available right next to the Hotel, the Old Town is really close by car, however this area is quite. I can only recommend Camara Residence for everyone who want to spend a good time in Chania.

The photos at the site included different rooms so it was not easy to understand the arrangement of beds and the overall facilities in the room. Just as a small suggestion- it would be great to have a microwave in the room. but there were other useful devices, so it was not critical

No complaints. The other rooms were not taken on my visit so unable to say if noise carries in the property.
