Guest Reviews
- Manjinder (9/5): - Warm and friendly host, comfortable room in a quiet location, great for exploring. What every homestay should feel like. Enjoyed my time here.
- Dan (9/5): -
- Gaspard (10/5): Welcoming peaceful home - Absolutely everything.
The surroundings are gorgeous and quiet; it's a short walk from downtown; Pa Too is the best host possible, she has great recommendations and a great vibe !
Her house feels comfy, welcoming, cosy and simple - come here in Winter and enjoy the cold nights, beautiful sky and warm conversation ❤️ Staying for a short time.
- GiuFan (9/5): -
- Olivia (8/5): - Pa-Too was so lovely and welcoming. There were bikes to borrow, and the area was super peaceful. The building was beautiful and old. The family room was huge and airy, with two powerful fans. There was plenty of bedding for when the temperature dropped overnight. The only negative was that the beds were rock solid.
- Alicia (8/5): -
- sabrina (6/5): -
- JUNG AA (4/5): Disappointing - The room was poorly equipped and basic essentials were not provided. The walls are paper-thin, so you can hear every sound from neighboring rooms. The toilet leaked whenever it rained. While the host was nice, the kindness felt a bit promotional rather than being genuine.
- Gil (10/5): - Amazing location and the host was very kind. Rooms were large.
- Freude Hoch 2 (8/5): Für eine nacht ausreichend - Super nette Besitzerin. Sehr einfach alles. Man hört jedes mini Geräusch. Der andern
- boonmatid (10/5): -
- Tobias (10/5): Nice place :-) - Everything was very good
- Patrick (10/5): -

- Liam (10/5): My 3 night stay - Pa was a great host! She made a great breakfast every morning and a coffee! She also let you have a free bikes to explore the city and made you feel like you was apart of her family!
- Jannie (10/5): - This homestay is so nice. I really enjoyed my stay here. The woman is so sweet and helpful. Explains all the things to see around and make very good breakfast. Beautiful old house. The beds in the dorm was separated with curtains so it felt like a private room. Free bicycles.
- Matthias (5/5): -
- Amedeo (10/5): Extremely welcoming and caring - Wished i could stay longer, the owner was so so so kind and caring, gave me a bike for free to roam around and tips for where to go, plus she was always smiling and bringing in such a good vibe. I felt like being with the granma i never had. Extremely recommended Nothing
- David (5/5): Passable - Price - family room was 1200 Baht - it was worth maybe 600 at most
- Abramson (10/5): Patoo! Free bicycles! Yummy breakfast! - Patio is so nice, it’s very simple but exactly what a solo traveler needs. Delicious home cooked breakfast and a friendly host!
- Punwin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bruce (4/5): Good for backpacking types but only if the price is competitive - The property is very rustic and appropriate for back packing types. Very traditional building. Charming owner who really likes to help Facilities all poor. Bed and bathroom very basic and nowhere to sit and work on the computer

- Axel (10/5): Exceptional - Very well located in the city. The lady owning the place offered me a bike to visit the city. She was very kind and patient. I'd 100% go back to that place if I go back to the city
- Trish (10/5): A breath of fresh air - The host was the best part of the entire trip to Phrae. A genuinely kind, honest and caring person. Her care for her guest makes up for any shortcomings of the property & her kind explanations gave new context to the experience.
- Aliaksandr (8/5): Very good -
- Hidekazu (3/5): Overrated!! I was not happy with this place. - Host grandma's smile is absolutely awesome.
Free bicycles are available to rent. Everything is old and dirty.
You can find spider nests on the wall, mosquitoes in the bathroom.
When I was going to make instant noodles, the host asked me to use an electric pot but it was filthy and a dead cockroach was on the lid. Yuck.
No soap, no toilet paper but old bath towels are provided.
Approx 500baht/day as of Dec 2024 is too expensive for this quality.
Will never come back.
- Dolphin (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely host. She even sent me off with a packed breakfast. Quiet and homely The mosquitoes can be a problem if the windows are left open
- Luke (10/5): The owner is the most caring and lovely woman ever, her knowledge of the town was brilliant and she went above and beyon - The property was beautiful and in a great location Got a bit hot in the evening but a cold shower soon sorted that out

She is one of the most memorable person I’ve met in Thailand.
She cooked for me some delicious vegetarian meals and even a lunch for my next journey.
Loved the wooden room that has a a nice character in it.
It’d be great for someone who likes simplicity and indulge yourself in that Thai traditional atmosphere..
I.’d love to go back to see her again.
