• Mandy (10/5): Second Christmas there fabulous but should have been cleaner - Lock box so super easy Cleanliness was a little bit poor. Lots of cobwebs and none of the furniture moved to clean, just “vacuumed around”. Also dishwasher and kitchen bin was dirty and very smelly

• Matthew Roberts (10/5): A very nice little flat - A very nice little flat with a great location and view. Very comfortable for two people. Not much. There was a lot of rubbish around the bin area when we arrived, but to be fair, this was moved as soon as we made the management company aware of the problem. Parking is very tight.
• Alison (9/5): A comfortable and well appointed apartment in a good position above Mawgan Porth bay. - This was a clean and comfortable apartment with lovely views of the valley at the back. Ideal for a dog. All facilities good. A strong shower over the bath. Awkward if anyone has mobility issues because of the steep ramp on the way in and the two sets of external stairs.

• Dinara (10/5): - Great place for 4 to stay in Cornwall. Kitchen is well-equipped and clean, beds are as advertised. The villlage is this nice little place around a huge sandy beach, which you can reach by foot from anywhere in the village. All in all, we really liked this place.

I think I should have put more utensils in the kitchen for use. I need some spoons, things to use in the kitchen, for example, put some better crockery like glasses and cups of better quality.

• Nicola (6/5): It was ok but not the best location if you’re not a dedicated beach lover. - The bathroom was new and clean. The approach was incredibly steep and the car park was small. The heated towel rate was left on high and I burned my arm on it when opening the bathroom door.

• Tracey (9/5): Really enjoyed it and very relaxing. - Clean, great location. Very comfortable. The laundry timer didn’t start at 930 (was about 1015). It would be helpful if laundry could start at 830 or 9 so you don’t need to wait until later to get the washing started and out for the day.
• Andrew (5/5): Lack of attention to basic cleaning. 7 - On arrival a number of cleaning issues were reported. These were resolved quickly within an hour or two on a Friday afternoon. It’s been or could be a nice apartment but is let down by a lack of attention on cleaning. Longer term issues are not being addressed. Lack of attention to basic cleaning. Dusty surfaces. Dead insects. Grubby finger marks on patio windows. Bathroom led lights 2 of 3 not working. Laminate blown / peeling on kitchen worktop behind sink. Kitchen cupboard doors don’t close. Plates are too big for the cupboards. Only 1 wine glass. Crockery needs sorting out.
• steven (10/5): - Lovely apartments. Would definitely use again. Our only gripe was that the wood bed was really creaky and woke us up everytime someone moved. Also the drain in the bathroom sink was extremely slow. Apart from that it was lovely.
• L (5/5): Passable - Near the beach with views of the ocean. Parking was difficult, very steep driveway which was next to a junction and the allocated parking space was tight. Balcony was dirty upon arrival, over crowded with a large wooden table centred in the middle of it, and the chairs were frayed and tired looking. There was a horrible sewage smell in the bathroom which I reported, I was told someone would attend but they never did. Overall the grounds needed sweeping and cutting back areas were over grown.

Beautifully furnished and everything we could have needed was there. The location was ideal and only a 2 minute walk to the beach and shops. Best booking.com place I have ever stayed at ! Thank you so much, we had the best holiday here ! Couldn’t fault it ! Perhaps a box for recycling next to the bin ?
• Katie (10/5): Mawgan Porth is just the best Beach! - Overall a very good stay, however, the bathroom floors really need a good clean. Beds are a bit creeky and not great for light sleepers or fidgets. Area very quiet and beach very special. The sunset at Bedruthan Steps is a must see.

• Patrick (1/5): Like being in a prison - The area and beach is stunning, with lots of good eating houses We left a day early as this is like a prison; I HAVE WORKED IN BETTER when we booked, we were NOT told this was rear view until the day before we tried to cancel or upgrade but was not allowed to. The place has NO views and is extremely claustrophobic, we hated it. The beds were so small we had to sleep in separate rooms, and the water never gets hot, book at your peril. Also, the path to the property is lethal if you are not steady on your feet. I would go back to the area, but NEVER use this again

• Gary (9/5): Wonderful winter break - Lovely pet friendly apartment located a short walk to the beach and local amenities. Everything you need for a great break. If you’re arriving in more than one car then be aware that you only have a single allocated parking space which can be an issue if all the apartments are busy. On street parking is limited but there is a paid carpark down by the beach.
• Warren (10/5): Had the best time here for my birthday weekend🍾🥂👌 - The property has an amazing view is a short walk to the beach and benefits from an amazing sunset. It was clean, warm, modern and cozy. Perfect for a mini break. We both loved our weekend away here and the price wasn’t too high. I would recommend for a couples break as it’s not to far to go out and about around the beautiful Cornish coast. But is great to put ur feet up after a day of fun and adventure.🏄‍♂️🤙 The fridge door was crooked and needs adjusting I kept forgetting the toilet seat wasn’t soft close and this was probably a loud bang underneath for the people below as ours at home is.😂 And I think the bed frame needs a little tightening up on the corners as if u moved a little it sounded like a cabin bed at sea.😂😂 It was very comfortable though 👌 But these are only small items for you to address. It didn’t make our stay unpleasant one bit as it’s a lovely apartment And would book again no problem.👍 Hope this just helps you guys out and helps keep the apartment beautiful 🤩

• Angelica (8/5): A very comfortable and clean apartment, well situated for the use of Mawgan Porth. - The apartment was super clean and very comfortable. It was a cold night when we arrived, and the heating had been switched on, so we arrived in beautiful warmth. The towel rail in the bathroom didn’t seem to come on, so towels remained pretty damp. Perhaps previous occupants had fiddled with settings. A simple on/off switch would be best. You simply must provide soap for toilets, fortunately I’d bought a pack of soap bars, but I really don’t think people should be expected to travel with packs of soap! The sink in the bathroom was loose, felt like it could fall off the wall. The bathroom bin was broken.

• Melisa (9/5): All good - Clean, easy and practical There were only 4 items of crockery, glasses etc. Although there were only 4 of us staying it would have been nice to have enough crockery for 2 meals a day at least, without having to wash up in between. Otherwise all good.

• Paula (9/5): A lovely stay in beautiful surroundings and a beautiful clean apartment. - It was spotlessly clean, bright and mostly spacious. The bathroom was big. The bed was comfortable and the balcony was a big bonus. The bus stop, shops restaurant and gorgeous beach were only a short walk away. The kitchen was a bit small for cooking in. The walk up to the property was very steep, especially if you don’t have a car and have supplies to carry, but it was worth it for the view. However would not suit someone with certain health or mobility issues. Buses were not reliable and getting taxis was not always easy.

This property was advertised with a sea view on booking.com but was dark and at the back of the property so no sea view. The cleaning was poor - I cleaned the fridge and most of the kitchen when I got there. Bathroom cleaning was also poor - black mould under toilet rim, grubby rim of dirt on bath. No cleaning products were available to sort this out. Internal doors needed a good wipe down and the French doors and frame were dirty.

We had a great view from our balcony to the bay. Th apartment was great and a lovely large bathroom! Would certainly recommend it to friends and family. The driveway leading up to the apartment was rather steep.
