• PTontour (8/5): Central and great staff - We came off a Cruise with Azamara, self sourced this hotel as our agent pushed us at was £400 pn, too rich for my taste, this place was central and has a good rep, rightly so, warm and friendly staff, helpful and a nice place to be. Breakfast choices were not massive but what was there was very good quality and tasty, well worth it. Rooms clean and functional, I d happily stay again... Really enjoyed all of it😁

The breakfast was a good choice for us. One small note. The floor of the shower is a bit slippery under the shower head.

• Christine (8/5): - Lage in der Altstadt und fußläufig zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten, Läden und Restaurants ist ein großen Plus. Das Frühstück ist wirklich reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Leider liegt vis-a-vis vom Eingang des Hotels eine Bar/Kneipe, die täglich (!) bis 2 Uhr nachts lauten Betrieb bis auf dis Straße hat und die Gasse zum Hotel ist maximal 3m breit. Der Schall hat in der Gasse wenig Raum ... und die zur Straße gelegenen Zimmer haben leider keine besondes schallisoliertenden Fenster! Einschlafen VOR zwei Uhr nachts fällt dann sehr schwer, bzw ist garnicht möglich, man kann höchstens selbst bis 2 Uhr feiern gehen. Falls möglich KEIN Zimmer zur Vorderseite wählen.

• R Per (5/5): Very average - take quality ear plugs - Where it was located, central to most things we wanted to see. Staff very welcoming on arrival, that seemed to be the full quota for our stay. The room had one window that opened on to a small covered quad, so minimal light and air. Had to have window open as room very hot & air con noisy and dries out the air too much. This was May (max 16° C outside). Thought would be quieter as not street facing room, but persistent humm from air con units & dramatic sound of water free falling in large down pipe intermittently. There was a power cut in breakfast room area the first morning, which put an end to our leisurely breakfast - bought brunch while out. Not apology in form of recompense or breakfast items to go so we just needed to get hot drinks.

Can be a little noisy from nearby restaurants, but the window has very good insulation. Room is on the small side, but those are the price you pay in the city center.

The staff were excellent, our luggage was left at Heathrow and the lady at reception was so helpful and caring. Just what we needed after all the stress . • Julian (8/5): Great location, very clean and good breakfast. - It was a great location, the room and hotel were very clean and the staff were great. the down side to the location was some outside noise. The breakfast was good with plenty of choice. We knew before going that there were previous comments about noise from nearby bars. There was noise but it was a comprimise we accepted against the location and cost of the accomodation.

• Anto (10/5): Hotel California da ritornare - Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per quattro giorni. Le ragazze alla reception che mi hanno accolto, sono state molto accoglienti ed educate ogni sera. L hotel è in una posizione strategica, lontana dal traffico ma vicino a tutte le strutture. La colazione ottima e abbondante. Le camere nuove e ben pulite. Ottima esperienza. Se torno a barcellona penso di ritornare a soggiornare qui.

• Alexescu (8/5): Sejur ratat din cauza gălăgiei din fiecare noapte. - Confort, curățenie, personal foarte prietenos și de ajutor, mic dejun ok. Zgomot înfiorător până la 5 dimineața. Chiar sub fereastra mea , în fiecare din cele 4 nopți petrecute în acest hotel, tineri beți vorbeau tare, cântau (de fapt urlau ) și urinau! Am reclamat acest fapt la recepție și m-au ajutat cu dopuri pentru urechi🤦‍♂️. Mi s-a spus ca e zonă turistică și n-au ce să facă. Păcat! Această situație anulează practic toate calitățile hotelului. Cu siguranță nu voi mai reveni la acest hotel. Patru nopți cazare în care nu am putut dormi.

Bed was right next to the alles and I couldnt sleep to the noise from the light and other hotel guests. bed was layed out. very unconfortable.
