- Barry (8/5): I felt the advertised price was offset by expensive breakfast and parking. - Good location, good price, good room which was very clean and comfortable. There was a nice restaurant and bar. The dinner we had was very good quality. There was plenty of parking on site. Breakfast buffet was very expensive £19 and looked below average, we went out for breakfast Parking cost £10 per night which was not clearly stated and unexpected Dinner was quite good, but the staff were good, but over worked and provided quite poor service

- Phil (7/5): Ok but I won’t be rushing back - Friendly staff on arrival We wanted to book in for evening meal, around 18.30, the restaurant was empty, however then had to wait for the waiter to check if there was a table available. Apparently large due at 8 pm. Steak 5oz fillet, £30 + and extra £4 pepper sauce was ok, came with chips and burnt cherry tomatoes. No mushrooms, some of pea shoot garnish were yellow. little thought or effort. Bang average really. No whisky at all behind the bar?

- xue (4/5): - Had a bad experience during my stay at the hotel Book for two twin rooms and only got one. When you get into the room you can see or feel the carpet is not vacuum. Get into the shower only realise there is no shower gel (bottle is empty ). House keeping needs to be trained again to get it up to standard.

Had to wait about 10 minutes to check in as nobody manned reception

- May (10/5): - Great room, a bit smaller due to the balcony (which I was aware of before booking and chose a balcony specifically) but it was room enough for us and the balcony was a great size. Bathroom was lovely, breakfast was delicious! I was a bit worried about the breakfast after seeing some reviews but it was great and a really good variation of stuff to choose from, the coffee was good too. Great value for money and really close to some nice pubs as well. Nothing really!

- richardwW6013PL (8/5): Great hotel, staff helpful and friendly. - Booked this on secret escapes and was really pleased with it. Quite a modern hotel in the town with parking. Staff and welcome was great. Room big and clean. My personal biggie is it was a big shower and I’m a bath man but not an issue as shower was great. All Clean and no complaints. Had a few drinks in evening. Staff again really friendly and good choice of drinks. Breakfast was great. Good food and again staff helpful. Would recommend and be staying there again.
- Jodie (1/5): - Toilet was dirty upon arrival, asked for it to be cleaned to which it still wasn't cleaned properly. Upgraded to a superior room but the TV didnt work, fridge didn't work. Saturday night and the bar didn't have half of what we asked for i.e bombay gin, prosecco, pinot, whiskey!

Breakfast provides a good spread but possible a bit too expensive for what is provided. Location is good to access central Bridgwater. Breakfast probably a bit too expensive for what is provided. No real complaints about the hotel but a hotel of this calibre just seems a bit out of place in Bridgwater?
