Videa (2/5): Camillus Tru Hilton a Disaster - Eggs are not fully cook. Sausages were not hot. Oatmeal is watery. I booked 2 queen bed and they gave me king bed. Front desk told me there are no rooms available except for king bed. The front desk is very rude and not very helpful. The first room they put us had bugs and we showed to front desk and put us to another room. Booking.com charged 194.19 but hotel charged $219. Overall Camillus area is a disaster Tru Hilton hotel. I stayed in another Tru Hilton at Syracuse last summer and service and hotel is way better. Manager has to train the front desk person as she was very rude at not helpful at all.

Susan (8/5): I really enjoyed my stay. the staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel had all I needed, - The free breakfast more than met my expectations. It was fresh every day and there was a good variety of food. The cook was Debbie. She kept the food area clean and had the dishes replenished as needed. She had a nice variety of breakfast options. The card that opened our room had to be reset most days. I would like it if they tried to separate the guests a little more so you don't have a noisy group right next door.

Pauline (1/5): Unexpected Cancellation – Communication Could Be Better - I had booked my stay several months in advance, but unfortunately, the reservation was canceled by the hotel on the very evening of my scheduled check-in. No alternative accommodation or solution was offered, which made the situation quite stressful. What was most concerning is that the full amount for the stay was still charged to my credit card, even though I did not actually stay at the hotel. I understand that unforeseen situations can arise, but clearer communication and some support in arranging alternatives would have made a big difference. Strengthening guest assistance in such cases could turn a difficult situation into a much more positive experience for future travelers.

Rooms are bright & clean with cool features. Especially love the lemon body wash. Great breakfast with fresh yogurt and lots of options. One of the best free breakfasts at a hotel chain
Cory (6/5): - Nice property. Desk staff uninterested. Stayed 6 days and room was only cleaned and serviced twice. On the two days it was serviced bed was barely made. Had to ask for fresh towels. When asked about cleaning room we were told that hotel was full and staff had been working overtime so I guess because we were not checking out our room was skipped. Hotel is very nice and seems fairly new but without regular cleaning it will deteriorate quickly.
Verified traveler (6/5): Just ok. - When we checked in there were two people at the desk and neither greeted us. I had interrupt them and it was clear that I was inconveniencing them. The hand written signs were half wiped off by the elevator. Things in the room were scratched and dingy and there was hair all over in the corners of the bathroom. Definitely not worth what we paid for the night.

The curtain or shade in my room was somewhat transparent and my room was right next to a Costco so the light from Costco shined in my room all night. I don't know why they would have a curtain / shade that didn't block light. It makes no sense to me. Everything else was nearly perfect.

(The price was not normal. Obviously Increased because of the car show this weekend). Two Queen beds, but Very small room. No place for suitcase. No closet. Just a hanging bar with a couple hangers, with mini frig underneath. Mini ironing board, which was Hanging on the wall above mini frig. 1 nightstand between the beds. Not a typical Hilton. On a good note. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The Tru properties have become my favorite. While the rooms aren’t oversized, they’re thoughtfully designed—comfortable queen or king beds, plenty of storage, and an open layout that skips the bulky closet but still gives you everything you need. The bathroom is bright and clean with lemon-scented products that are a nice touch. This location didn’t have a pool, but the indoor sports area was unique and fun—especially for families. Breakfast is simple and reliable, just like other Tru properties. Bonus: it’s right next to a Costco. I don’t have a membership, but if you do, it’s incredibly convenient. Overall, this property keeps up with the strong standard I’ve come to expect from Tru by Hilton.

Alicia (10/5): - Great place to stay if you have kids. They have a game area and lots of space to relax in the lobby. The rooms are spacious for a hotel room with storage the your things. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and check-in was smooth and painless. Highly recommend this hotel!
Marisa (6/5): - It was great, but when I called to see if they had coin laundry or a pool, I was told yes all properties have them. When I asked they said they had neither. The pool wasn’t necessary but the coin operated washer was.

Ann (10/5): Our second stay, we were in Syracuse for our grandson’s graduation. Breakfast was good and met another guest at breakfas - Our first greeting was upbeat and friendly. Great first impression. Not about the property but there was a sport team staying on the floor and they were a bit loud. Did not complain and I was able to fall asleep.
