- JulieBobW (10/5): Lexi is the best! - We have been coming to this hotel practically every Christmas time for the past 10 years. We have photos of our kids in their cool âcow chairsâ for every stay. The entire hotel staff (front desk, housekeeping, breakfast team) is always great, but this year we want to especially thank Lexi from their Garden Grill. Her sense of humor and helpfulness during breakfast made us smile and brightened our day!

- Denise (6/5): Hilton needs to improve this hotel - Arrived on a Friday afternoon â I was very disappointed in the so called ârestaurantâ - the menu is very limited and not a whole lot of healthy selections. My dinner order came with a bowl of fruit, which was rotten - literally. The waitress exchanged it for another bowl of other fruit and stated this was fresh. I would question their food safety conditions. Had breakfast and ordered from the menu again, but the food was still below par. The snack area that the hotel provides did not offer any healthy choices, mostly sweets. The room air conditioner control did not function â it was set at 72 and could not be adjusted. The bathroom has a barn door, which does not close all the way, and is very, very hard to open and close, thus did not allow for privacy. Expected better from this hotel, considering the price of a stay.

- karenrU9830AT (4/5): Could be a great Waco hotel but is not - As a frequent traveler for work and pleasure and a Hilton Diamond member, I usually stay at a Hilton property. I use TripAdvisor usually 100% to decide on the property I choose so I wanted to give my honest review for others that do the same. When I first arrived at the site, I noticed how beautiful the hotel was and modern, not like the older Garden Inns. The hostess who checked me in was very nice and welcoming to not only myself but with other guests I saw. I was running late for an event so I ran up stairs and dropped off my luggage. I even commented to my friends how this is a Waco gem, modern, great view, and even had a bar. However, my mind was changed when I returned. I returned that night to finding a half dead roach in my bathroom(which wasn't there before). After disposing of it, I started looking around and noticed the mold on the shower curtain and the floor that didn't look like it had been mopped in a very long time. The bed was fine but didn't get much sleep, thinking of any other bugs that could be coming out in the dark. The next morning, I heard lots of noise out in the hallway but am used to it as I assumed it was just other travelers checking out. When I opened the door I found this was the cleaning crew making all the noise and slapping doors. I went for breakfast which is not complimentary and ordered from the menu. It was cold and not tasty at all, the coffee which is self serve also was cold. I went back to my room and was finishing getting my stuff together in the bathroom and even though I had the DND sign on my door, the cleaning guy saw me enter my room and it wasn't check out time yet, he tried to come into my room.

- Sabre (3/5): Great staff and location, with absolutely horrible beds. - The staff was wonderful. The location was good. However the beds were THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE we have ever slept in. It felt like sleeping on a cardboard box on the ground. The blankets were extremely thin and scratchy and the pillows went flat immediately. I never leave reviews but I woke up in pain SEVERAL times. My back almost completely locked up because of this bed. Even my 15 yr old who can sleep anywhere said it was the worst bed heâs ever slept in.

I keep coming back because once when there was an issue Hunter whent above & beyond to take care of my issue. I continue to stay here because i know that if there are any problems & Hunter is working things will be handled. So if you choose to stay here go to the bar, & ask for Hunter. I guarantee his attention to detail, & customer service.

We arrived somewhat late in the evening, but check-in was super speedy, which one always appreciate when you're tired and ready to get to bed. Front desk stated since we booked through Hotels.com, they could not accommodate the change, even though they were less than half booked. Upon asking for a roll away bed, they changed their mind and offered the 2 queen roomâŚ.right next to the one we booked. The building is newer, but only has the appearance of being clean. Just about every single door is filthy. The entrance to every room as well as inside the barn door to the restroom. It appeared the toilet had recently been removed and was still loose, as well the tank continued to fill about every other hour. So you could hear it at night. It does have a pool but no hot tub/jacuzzi. The gym are was nice and had a lot of equipment. Overall, I would not stay at this location and will think twice about other Hilton Garden Inns.

I left and had my day and when I returned 12 hours later, it had not been fixed. They did finally fix. I did not appreciate the fact that this is a cashless hotel. This is not listed on their website, and it needs to be. I do not like to charge less on a credit card unless I have to and everyone knows you don't give hotel your debit card. I won't return due to cashless policy. We are still in America and cash is our legal tender.

- Wilson (10/5): Exceptional - What I like about the hotel was how clean well kept just a beautiful hotel all together I have no complaints. It's a Wonderful Hotel I would recommend anyone who's needing a hotel in Waco to stay there.

- Sandra (10/5): The stay was excellent. - Didn't eat at this hotel. my husband and I left 2 tumblers in the refrigerator and called the hotel to confirm that they were still there. I was told someone from management would be contacting me but hadn't heard anything from them as of today.

- Esparza (4/5): Disappointing - The area of the hotel. Clean. The rolling door to the bathroom was hard to open/close. I had a fruit drink above the fridge, and we woke up, there were ants covering the cup. There was lots of dust as well.

- Charlee (6/5): It was alright but could have been better. Probably wonât stay again. - We enjoyed the location of this hotel, the lobby area and the cleanliness of the room. When we arrived though the trashes outside were overflowing giving us a first somewhat bad impression. Check in was easy besides them asking me to pay when I had already but we got through that quickly. When we entered the room it was musty smelling and warm. In the shower there was no shampoo and the shower door was rough to close and I felt like I was going to break it. Lastly breakfast being at 7 am seems a little late. It would be better if it started at 6 or even 6:30 because a lot of people need to leave shortly after 7 if not before to get to their destination at 8.
