- Awa (8/5): Great time at Centro - The rooms were exceptionally clean, breakfast was good and the hotel environment was quiet bar the construction work going on within the vicinity. A special thanks to Jila, one of the staff at the hotel. She always finds time to talk to guests, and ask about their wellbeing and if they need any assistance; this was beautiful. I observed Jila doing this everyday of our stay at the hotel. She does it with a big smile on her face. Thank you Jila for making us enjoy our stay. A special thanks also goes to Musa, my friend keep it up . I understand that it's a very busy hotel and that guests are always in and out. But that should not stop the staff from engaging with the guests. In other setups, staff find time to tell visitors about important places, for instance, shopping centres tourists attraction areas and places where you can get food. However, this was not the case here. Some of the guests were there as first timers, so didn't know much about the area. Probably they should find time during check-in to give a brief synopsis of the area. Jila was doing this to perfection, keep it up Jila.

We asked to be placed at a higher floor and the accommodated us into the 9th floor. Some of the breakfast items weren’t fresh and the tables were unclean and utensils were missing.
- Alan (10/5): “Yum yum yum yum delicioso!” - My stay at Westside by Rotana was excellent from start to finish. The hotel was comfortable, reasonably priced, and offered great value overall. The breakfast was delicious, and even late at night the food quality was impressive — I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo along with a chocolate soufflé and vanilla ice cream around 2 a.m., and everything tasted fresh and amazing. The hotel has all the necessary amenities, and my room came with a beautiful view that made it easy to relax and get proper rest. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay, and housekeeping consistently kept the room clean and well-stocked with fresh towels and linens. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, especially for the price. Definitely a 10/10 stay. I only have a few minor suggestions that could really take this property to the next level. One personal pet peeve of mine — and I’ve noticed this in several places around Istanbul — is seeing fingerprints on glass, mirrors, or chrome surfaces. I understand this may sound a bit picky, but spotless surfaces make a big difference in the overall presentation and guest experience. Another improvement would be adding a self-service laundry room. Paying extremely high prices for basic laundry service, especially for just a few clothing items, can be inconvenient for longer stays. Having an affordable guest laundry option would be a huge plus and much more practical for travelers. Lastly, I’d recommend updating and reorganizing the gym equipment. The current machine placement makes workouts feel cramped, and the limited availability of heavier weight plates can make strength training difficult. Improving the gym setup would definitely enhance the overall experience for fitness-focused guests.

- WAIL (9/5): فندق ممتاز - فندق لطيف وفريق عمل لطيف وكل شيء كان تمام الفندق ممتاز وارتحت فيه كثيرا لكن يوجد ملاحظتان جيد لو تم الاعتناء بهما 1/مكان الافطار صغير وضيق في بعض الايام خاصة في الايام التي يكثر فيها النزلاء يصبح المطعم مزدحم بطريقة غير مناسبة ابدا فيحتاج المطعم لتوسعة تتناسب مع الطاقة الاستيعابية للفندق 2/السرير صغير يناسب شخص واحد لو كان في الغرفة زوجين فسيكون غير مناسب

- ALI (8/5): The whole staff made their best to make my stay comfortable. - The room was nice, the staff was welcoming, and the environment was very friendly. I have been staying in this hotel every once in a while for the last six years, and every time I go there, they surprise me. If it is possible to manage the distribution of guests based on whether they have kids with them, since when you are tired, while having a family with kids next door, it may cause some disturbance. Also, the food at the room service needs to be cooked more deliciously, a better room service chef may solve the problem.

- Faig (2/5): Terrible - This is the first time I’ve ever written a negative review about a hotel. On the first day, when we entered the room, there was an unpleasant smell, especially coming from the bathroom. Despite specifically noting on Booking that I wanted twin beds, the toiletries were provided for only one person. The shampoo and body gel were of very poor quality and had a bad smell. There were no body towels in the room at all. Although tea and coffee sachets were provided, there was no electric kettle to boil water. The internet was not working on the first day. In short, this is the first time I chose this hotel, and it will most likely be the last. I do not recommend it at all.

- Ainura (7/5): Overall, the property is acceptable, but improvements in maintenance would enhance the guest experie - The hotel is good as a 4-star property, but on Booking it is listed as a 5-star hotel. I believe it may have been a 5-star hotel in the past, but currently it definitely needs renovation to meet that standard again. The most positive aspect of the stay was the staff, who were very friendly and helpful, especially Jila. Overall, the hotel has potential, but several areas need improvement to truly match a 5-star level. The hotel would benefit from at least some light refurbishment, as it feels a bit dated in places. There is a mall nearby, but due to the location you need to take a taxi to reach it. There is also very little within walking distance, so dining options are limited mainly to the hotel itself.

Inside the room, there were connecting doors, which made it worse because I had very loud neighbors and could hear everything. When I asked to change rooms, I was told none were available, which I found hard to believe since the hotel did not seem crowded. The breakfast was very poor, and the tables were often dirty. The hotel was also quite stingy with basic amenities like shampoo and soap. There was only one towel in the room, and no dressing gown was provided. Also no tea or sugar in the room The location is not convenient, as it is far from buses and shops. On the positive side, there is a small but nice pool on the 15th floor, and the reception staff were polite.

The location is really far from metro. Always need to rely on yellow taxi. But can get taxi with in 5 minutes as they stay in front of the hotel.

La stanza è spaziosa adatta a linghenpermanenze, ben insonorizzata dai rumori del traffico stradale, luminosa con ampia vetrata sulla città e da cui alla mattina ammiravo i colori favolosi dell'alba di Istanbul. Piscina, palestra, sauna,steam roome massaggi sono di buon livello e per chi come me che son stato a lungo in hotel, è possibile trovare momenti di piacevole relax. Il tutto è poi accompagnato da uno Staff eccellente sempre disponibile e attento a soddisfare ogni esigenza, un ringraziamento ad Ahmet e Busra alla reception e alla gentilissima ragazza di cui non ricordo il nome che avendo ritrovato il mio telefono si è preoccupata di avvisarmi e restituirmelo. Grazie a tutti Per l'alto livello della struttura migliorerei il servizio pulizie delle camere. Sicuramente non sporche ma neppure profumavano di pulito

- Юсуф (1/5): Юсуф - Панорамните прозорци бяха добре, закуската също беше на ниво. С пристигането ми в хотела кошмара почна, Казаха ми че нямам резервация. Чаках около час, след което ми казаха в коя стая съм и ме пратиха да се оправям. Никой не ми съдейства за багажа . Никой не се заинтересува за автомобила с който бях пристигнал. След като ги питам къде да го паркирам - пълно безхаберие, накрая се разбрахме че някой ще го прибере в паркинга. Хотела е с спа зона, стаята нямах халат, Отивам на басейна и ми казват да отида до рецепцията за халат евентуално те биха могли да помогнат. Тръгвам към басейна ми правят забележка че трябва за имам боне, и ме таксуват с 200 лири. Прибирам се в стаята няма интернет имали някакъв проблем. На следващия ден напускам стаята и питам за фактура, казват ми да се оправям те не можели да издадат фактура, трябвало да пиша на booking, Пиша в букинг платформата ме насочва към тях, и ми казват защо не съм я искал от рецепцията. Така и не получавам фактура. Давам номерчето за автомобила да ми го изкарат и ми казват той е долу сигурно ще се оправите ?! Слизам по асансьори коридори и така нататък, няма никакво обозначение каде се намира тоя паркинг. Слава на господа накрая го намирам . Отварям багажника и вратата се удря на тавана на който от едната страна има аспирация която ужилва боята на вратата! и бягам на вън без да се обръщам на зад. Никога не съм имал подобно преживяване.

- 413howardn (8/5): Hotel 3 *s Staff 5 *s - Had to change rooms because traffic noise from E80 Freeway, emergency vehicle, and police sirens, are fairly constant. Moved to other side of hotel but sirens still an issue. Also, did not have hot water for entire stay: 6 nights! Breakfast included in price and it was very good. Staff will cook omelets, etc. for you if you ask. Hotel is definitely not a 5*. Emre arranged for me to change rooms and I ended up with more room, a microwave, small fridge, stove... but there weren't any pots, pans, plates, silverware, cookware... so it wasn't possible to actually take advantage of the extras. Still, Emre was very helpful and professional. Musa was as well. Jila deserves 6-7 *s since my phone died the first day there and she called people back home (USA) for me and also kept me informed of clinic appointments. She went above & beyond what would be expected numerous times, including trying to change a departure flight for me. Because of the turmoil/war in the Middle East, she was on the phone for nearly an hour, but refused to give up. Jila is the best. Simply an amazing person who is kind, courteous, and incredibly helpful no matter how busy the hotel was. I hope they realize what a valuable staff member she is. - Jamil77 (9/5): An amazing and relaxing experience - The hotel and staff is great. Very relaxing and well maintained hotel. I felt like an appreciated guest and the customer relationship manager was great and very hands-on. The location is good close to the highway, but it can get very busy with traffic jams in the afternoon. The closet shop is about 20 minutes walking.
