Catherine (6/5): - The room was likely recently remodeled so it didn't look old but they took shortcuts so it was cheaply done. No carpeting so the floor wasn't comfortable to walk on. The door on the bathroom rubbed on the flooring so it was hard to open/close at the halfway point. No curtains, just a cheap shade. Very disappointing for $205/night. The room was clean though. The breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly. In comparison with the other hotels we have been staying in while in Kentucky, it should be $125/night at best. I would not stay there again unless they lowered the price.

The toilet was hard to flush the usb boxes didn’t work on the nightstand they were broken so I had to charge phone by tv Bed was comfy enough . It was ‘clean’ nothing amazing they were doing construction and that was a little hard but they worked it out great . The desk people were helpful but didn’t ask us about cleaning as we were there 3 days 2 nights . The best was the breakfast it was the best continental ever !! Hands down .the elevator was very slow we had a handicapped person so it was hard to do steps !pool was good ! So overall it’s my favorite place when we come here .

Bonnie (8/5): Good rating, but not great - The hotel room is big with a lot of empty space. Wish they would have used that extra space to make the bathrooms bigger. The bathrooms need some serious cleaning and maintenance. It was very hot last week when we were there and lots of humidity, but something was just not right in the hotel room. Everything felt damp. I wanted to go to store to buy Damp Aid. Staff was nice and breakfast was good.

The workmanship of the renovation was mediocre at best. Very sloppy work, toilet paper holder falling out of wall, grout everywhere on the tile and shower pan. I would definitely not have paid for their work. Paint everywhere I could have done a better job than they were doing.

Love the new floors but the lights behind tv and bed are a waste of their money. You can’t turn them off so you will not have a complete dark room. And the bathroom needs the same update in shower caulking as rest of room. Had to change rooms for reason of shower and bed lights were extremely bright and coffee maker did not work. Got moved to another room and in this room the bed lights were flickering… no way to turn off. Disappointed.

James (10/5): Great Room to Relax In. - Let me start of by saying the size of our king size room was wonderful. Had plenty of room to spread out. The room was very clean and quiet. The lobby was under renovation and a little noisy, but did not take away from our overall enjoyment of the property. The front desk staff were extremely pleasant and made the check in and out very easy.
Charles (6/5): - This hotel was under renovation, and this caused some minor inconveniences during my stay. There was only one elevator working. I had to wait several times to get an elevator to go to my room or the lobby. The ice maker on my floor was broken, so I had to go up two floors to get ice. During the breakfast time in the morning, there was very limited seating for everyone that was eating breakfast. I took my food to my room, but had to wait a long time to get an elevator, so my food was not hot when I got back to the room. It would have been nice to know ahead of my stay that the hotel was undergoing renovations.

Room bathroom was not in great shape. We were also informed that breakfast would be grab and go. Glad we are only staying one night.
Jennifer (6/5): Probably wont be back - We checked in around 7pm and had a great time that night. Took the kids swimming, pool was decent but 95 degrees in there. Better bring a towel because the towels they offer wouldn't cover my 6 year old. Thats when the problems started. We booked the double queen bed suite. 4 kids 2 adults. 3 younger kids on one bed and my teenager on the couch. They didnt have extra bedding in the room for the pull out or even a sheet to cover it. Walked down to the front desk and she had no clue where to look for sheets. So we had to pull stuff off of our beds to get her settled. Then the lady told us breakfast ended around 10am the next morning. WRONG! We spent the extra money to make sure we had a decent breakfast and we got down there at 9:30am on the dot. Just in time for them to close the door on us and not let my 4 kids eat. Considering I saw how much food was left over, shame on them. If I had just not looked at the time and breakfast was over and we missed it I wouldn't have been so upset. The night shift lady told us "around 10" she apparently had no clue.

Joel (6/5): Atypically unpleasant - Convenient location I’ve stayed at this location many times and this time was not pleasant. Firstly, the pool was ice cold. My daughter was excited all week leading up to our stay because of the pool. She loves to swim. She put her foot in and immediately jumped out. It was far too cold to enjoy. Secondly, between ironing dress clothes and microwaving leftover spaghetti, the smoke alarm was activated. 30 minutes later, at 945pm, two hotel associates knocked on my door and walked into my room, my crying daughter in my arms, to investigate. I understand they need to see what’s going on, but there was obviously no smoke and my daughter was very freaked out by the loud noise, and it was frustrating having them standing in my room texting with their manager. This location had been my favorite place to stay, but I will be searching other accommodations in the future.
Dawn (10/5): - Hotel staff was friendly any time we walked through the lobby. Easy check in. Several places to eat within walking distance. Only concern is how does someone in a wheelchair reach the detachable shower head if they live independently.

The bathroom needed some update - the toilet rocked back and forth (needs to be bolted to the floor better), the toilet paper holder was not secure to the wall.
