• Nicole (9/5): Friendly hotel, so refreshing! - The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The room was spacious and VERY clean. The water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Great hotel for the price The driveway was hard to find after my GPS sent me past it- not the hotels fault! The staff at breakfast was rude and slammed the doors shut at 10 am, even as a customer, not me, was approaching.

• donnamR8308DZ (10/5): Conference event review - We had a 3-day conference at the Hampton Inn Rocky Hill. Shali and her staff were wonderful! The meeting room was perfect, clean and spacious. No extra charges for a screen and projector. Wifi was excellent. Restrooms were right next to the conference room and were very clean. They allowed us to bring in food for lunch or cater. The room accommodations were excellent. We will definitely use the venue again.

• EmilyP484 (6/5): Convenient location and friendly staff - This Hampton Inn is relatively new at about six years old and had been our go-to when back in the area visiting friends. While it doesn't quite feel as polished as some other Hampton Inns we've stayed at, it's still comfortable, clean and convenient option. During our stay we received a call from the front desk about stomping from our room, even though we were only walking (normally) around briefly and were seated at the time. This seems to be more of a soundproofing issue than anything else. Breakfast was the standard Hampton Inn offering and perfectly fine. The location is a major plus-it's close to our friends and within easy reach of several longtime favorite restaurants and coffee shops. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the hotel offers a workout room and a pool. Overall, its a solid place to stay, especially for the location and welcoming staff, however it could benefit from better soundproofing and upkeep. We would consider staying here again.

• Hilda (10/5): Perfect break during our holiday - The room and hotel were spotless. The staff was excellent. The only thing I would point out is that the heat in the room was a little inconsistent. It was extremely cold outside, so it seemed like the unit was working hard to keep room at a comfortable temperature. Otherwise, everything was excellent!

Checked in with us daily to make sure we were comfortable and if our needs were met. She sounded genuinely interested in our plans for each day of our stay. The world needs more hospitality people like her. She makes us feel like we want to come back here, and to stay at n Hampton Inns elsewhere. The atmosphere is quite warm and friendly. The warmth gave me push to engage with other guests in the breakfast room and on the elevator. I loved the space in our room at the Rocky Hill location: king size bed, kitchenette area, etc. Temperature was just right for daily activity and sleeping. And actually this is an ideal location to meet with friends and family.

Front desk and custodial personnel were responsive and great. The room did not have a micro-wave as advertised. The coffee in the breakfast center was lukewarm at best and we didn't have the time to complain to anyone upon four of the visits when this was the case.

We like everything here. It’s clean The breakfasts were not always ideal in previous years. Sometimes there were potatoes that were a bit undercooked. This year, the self-serve waffles that children could make themselves were not available, which was a little disappointing. In the morning there was batter, but by the time my second child went to breakfast, it was already gone, and unfortunately it was not replenished. We were told that there would be no more batter. This was slightly disappointing. At the same time, the breakfast area has always been clean over the past two years, and we have no complaints about cleanliness

My wife and I hosted our wedding last weekend, and staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Rocky Hill, CT was hands-down one of the BEST decisions we made during the entire planning process. Out of every vendor we worked with, this hotel was our absolute favorite—and it wasn’t even close. From the moment we booked our room block, the staff went above and beyond in every possible way. Viashali, the Sales Manager, was extraordinary. She was organized, responsive, and genuinely invested in making our wedding weekend perfect. She made every step feel effortless and completely stress-free. At the front desk, Carrie, the Front Desk Manager, was an absolute superstar. She handled guest check-ins, early arrivals, last-minute needs, and everything in between with complete professionalism and kindness. So many of our guests specifically commented on how welcome she made them feel. The housekeeping team was equally exceptional. Gisela and Yoli, the Housekeeping Supervisors, ran their department with flawless precision. Our guests kept raving about how clean and comfortable their rooms were. Every suite was spotless, organized, and clearly maintained with pride. They made sure our entire group had a smooth and comfortable stay during a very busy weekend. We truly cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Every single staff member we interacted with was kind, attentive, and genuinely excited to be part of our celebration. The entire place ran like a well-oiled machine. If it were up to us, Viashali, Carrie, Gisela, and Yoli would each be running their own hotel—that’s how exceptional they are. Maria offered the best breakfast I’ve had at a Hampton Inn! She kept the breakfast well stocked, clean and was so friendly with all of the guests. Gold peak tea was $6.00 per bottle and a 1l bottle of smart water was $10, Was quite surprised, so did a research and the same water 6 count liter bottles are $2.49, hotel was kind enough to inform me that they sell Poland Spring water for $3.00 each, when a 40 ct case sells for $8.49. Breakfast was complimentary and plentiful. Free parking was available and there was an indoor pool! Checking in and out was a breeze. The bed and bedding were oh so comfy! I think that the room rate was a little high for the quality of the room. Although everything appeared to be new, the quality wasn’t what I would have expected for the price. Materials seemed to be rather inexpensive. I’ve never encountered front desk staff that were less welcoming than the ones we interfaced with at check-in. No greeting. No hello. No may i help you. We were the only guests at the desk but had to speak up before either the man or woman acknowledged our presence. The male was at least courteous after we decided who to speak to. The female never said a word. No smile. Nothing. I’ve never encountered such people working in the hospitality industry. I’ve travelled all over the world. I’ve always been welcomed upon entry. Greeted at the desk. Smile or at least a word of welcome. A thank you. An enjoy your stay. We got NONE of thst. The male was bland. The female seemed disconnected and determined not to engage with guests. The male was better at checkout. Upper management needs to train/re-train or at least remind staff how guests should be treated. Hospitality is still the biggest part of the hospitality industry.

The location is absolutely ideal- So many different places nearby and easy access to the highway. The room was big and clean. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. They had a good breakfast that was included. Highly recommend it! You won’t be disappointed!

The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive throughout the entire process - it felt like they were going above and beyond to make our experience extra special. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well priced and the fire pit outside was awesome to sit by the night before the wedding! We’re so grateful to the team at Hampton Inn & Suites for helping make our wedding weekend stress-free and enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel, and would certainly choose it again for my wedding! Thank you to all of the staff!

• kbmoves (8/5): Loved the Fast and Free EV Chargers! - Great location, rooms and lobby were modern and tastefully decorated. Their employee at check in was very friendly and professional. Beds and pillows were comfortable and shower was powerful and hot. 2 complimentary Tesla EV chargers right out front which was a huge plus and the reason I booked the hotel. My only negative is the room had a lingering musty smell. Like a dirty laundry/locker room kind of smell. I am pretty sure it’s because the room temp was set to a high temp and hadn’t been switched on for a while. Once I lowered the thermostat to 68 and the AC flipped on for a while I didn’t notice the stench anymore.
• Jillann (8/5): - Since covid I really do no like staying in hotels. I walk with my gloves and I clean all surfaces and inspect the beds thoroughly. This hotel was spotless. By my rigid standards it passed 💯. The breakfast was pretty good as well.
• Rachel (10/5): Amazing hotel stay - Loved our stay. Arrived exhausted after a long flight from London, followed by a drive from JFK. Greeted warmly, offered welcome packs of water. There was system problems and they couldn’t get our room key set so offered to let us into our room with the master key, and slide room keys under the door once they fixed the system. Which they did. We had the best sleep. Comfiest hotel bed hands down. Breakfast was excellent, literally no complaints about anything it was all delicious, fresh. Every member of staff was so polite, so friendly. Thank you!

• boog204 (4/5): Very disappointed - I have sent and placed family in this hotel many times and they’ve always said very positive things. My first personal experience, however, was not. Due to an emergency, I used 45,000 points to book this hotel at the last minute. As usual, I was given the option to select my room ahead of time and check in. When I arrived at the hotel, I went to the front desk to get waters and my room had been given to someone else. I’m glad I didn’t go straight to the room. After being reassigned a new room, I found dead bugs, a pile of dirt in the bathroom, and a brown stained towel (hope it was blood.) I’ve stayed in tons of Hampton Inns (literally writing this review while in one) and never seen one this dirty. I sent a message to the front desk and they did offer to come and clean, but after a very difficult day, the last thing I wanted to do is vacate the room so they could clean again. Breakfast was very mediocre and below the standard of other Hampton Inns. Suffice to say I am very disappointed I stayed here and wasted my points.
• amybm2015 (10/5): Good Stay - This hotel is consistent with other Hampton Inns I've stayed in and this is exactly why I choose these hotels- the are consistently clean and comfortable. The included continental breakfast is also a plus. The children I travelled with enjoyed the pool and the lobby area was comfortable and a great place to visit with family we were staying in without having to cram into someone's room. I recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

Nico have good customer service The only thing I don’t like is my check in process. The staff charge me another amount despite I told her it was paid already. She didn’t listen to me or exert an effort to check or consult my concern with a supervisor. I didn’t felt a welcome vibe or an effort to help me out with my concerns. I just paid her again so we can go our way to attend an event. The next day , I spoke to another person at the desk but he didn’t know how to help me. He told me I have to call the third party for a refund since I got charged by them. I persist to get my money back. Finally Nico came , he was able to take his time to look. The person who checked me in made a mistake to charge me again. There is already a virtual payment from booking.com.she didn’t look at it well. I got my money back finally.
