• Florian (10/5): Meeting the host family is the kind of experience you go traveling for - try to visit Alla Battuta if you can! - It’s a really pretty house in the nature, but the highlight is definitely the whole host family. Once you arrive, you directly fee at home and welcome. If you get a chance, try to learn how to make pasta the Italian way! Nothing
• Teresa (10/5): A real gem in the most idyllic location, and hosted by such a kind family. - We had a wonderful one-night stay, walking to the property from the Via Francesco. It is in an idyllic location and the view from our bedroom was wonderful. I loved the traditional character of the house; and the bed could not have been more comfortable after a day's walking. The host family were so kind, looking after us so well, and helping us on our way. We relaxed in their beautiful garden before we took to the road - and simply wished that we had booked two nights instead of one! Nothing!
• Ann (10/5): Exceptional - The hosts were very attentive to our needs. They let us checkin early and we were able to clean up as our walk was very hot. They even got up early and had breakfast ready at 5:15 so we could leave early. The beds, shower, everything was excellent. I would rate it an 11.0!
• Elise (10/5): Recommend staying here! - Super interesting staying in an ancient property that has been modernized with such good taste. Our group of 4 had one room with bath, and a little apartment on three floors. The room was huge with a gorgeous view; the apartment was quirky and charming, had all the comforts, very cozy. Typical Italian breakfast was included. Our hosts, Luigi and Ofelia, made sure we had everything we needed. Nothing that we didn't like, but someone who can't do stairs would not be happy here.
• Elle (10/5): Fabulous Tuscan home in the mountains right along the Via di Francesco - This old stone Tuscan home is set on a hillside, a gorgeous location with a warm and kind hostess, who is a fabulous cook! I highly recommend this place. Especially lovely retreat if you are walking the Via di Francesco! She will treat you very special!
