Comfort level, bedding and largely adequate bus stop nearby for the more adventurous and a breathtaking view of the mountains
• Mark (10/5): Breathtaking views, family run, it feels like home - Top of the list for this property is the overwhelmingly beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, and when sunrise comes it bathes the vista in a amazing glow. The family that run this property have obviously being doing this for a long time and very quickly mad us feel welcome. If I ever come back, or rather, when I come back to Hapatale I will definitely stay here. The food we had for dinner and breakfast is delicious and freshly cooked My only gripe would be the size of the door to the rooms we stayed in, but in their defence, they offered another room for us to stay in.

We got picked up by the owner by tuk-tuk and had a really lovely welcome with coffee and an amazing view over the mountains. In the evening we had an amazing home cooked dinner and played UNO with the whole family. We felt like home and had our own private cooking class! And if you have any questions about what to do or about the trip, the whole family helps you out! We definitely come back!
• Jana (10/5): Charming family-run accommodation - We were welcomed directly very warmly. The room and bathroom were clean, there were enough blankets for the cooler night. We ate curry in the evening (mild, for Europeans), which was incredibly delicious. For breakfast there were stringhoppers with many treats. We also got sandwiches to go, because at 5 a.m. a trip was planned. Recommended accommodation with charm!!!

Honestly a very nice stay, and the owner Mr. Abdul is very helpful honest and discreet. His wife provided healthy breakfast. Excellent value, balconey seating and spacious room. Fully recommended. We liked everything we would like to suggest adding a extra bedsheet on the bed

• Mary (7/5): Friendly, basic place to suit those on a budget. - Simple, basic homestay in a quiet, scenic location away from the main town area, with super-friendly and obliging hosts. Don't expect luxury at this price. You'll get a bed (very comfortable), a pillow (like a rock), a bottom sheet and a thin blanket. If you ask nicely you might get extra blanket/s, water in the shower, a towel, a door with a lock and wifi (which works well once plugged in). If you don't ask, you may not. I didn't have the energy to ask for soap. It's cheap and cheerful though, and the owners seem happy to host you. They have a small terrace with lots of flowers in pots which might be ok to hang out in, but you wouldn't want to spend much time in the room apart from sleeping.
