Guest Reviews
- Catherine (9/5): -
- kristy (8/5): Generally a very lovely pace to stay, very comfortable - Lovely view, kitchen well equipped, beds & couches comfortable. Good amount of parking We only had 2 towels supplied so used our own. Could have asked for some but we managed so that’s on us. Downstairs bedroom had a slight smell of fuel from the garage perhaps. & lock code was a little temperamental but all in all a great place
- Megan (8/5): Fab view, compact but well arranged - Location, views, verandah, BBQ area, well resourced kitchen Step into house non-standard & too high. No safety motifs on sliding doors.
Third bedroom (nearest bathroom) tiny and could hardly get around shelving to other side of the bed.
Tree tops need trimming to get full experience of views.
- Peter (9/5): -
- Miklos (10/5): - Location
Spectacular views from every room Could do with an extra toilet
- Sharee (10/5): -
- Robbie (10/5): -
- Carla (10/5): - very homely, wished we could have stayed longer
- Brian (10/5): - Cosy feel and spectacular views
- Klinton (10/5): Breath-taking views - Amazing spot for a family or a group of friends. We had a really great time, everything looks so cozy! A lot of board games to fight boredom for a 4-year-old daughter. Easy access. All the utensils to make any meal you want. Good BBQ. Definitely worth it! We even saw the aurora! Everything was spot on!
- Sarah (8/5): - Amazing Views Had to request coffee pods for use
- Helen (9/5): - On two occasions, we thought that someone had been at the property when we were out. The dryer was open when I did my washing it was closed as I hung my load outside on the clothes airer. The outside cushion was put back on the table, when we left it was on the chair. So we had our suspicions that someone had been there. Which is not good..
- Eleanor (6/5): -
- Paula (10/5): Perfect location and amenities. Comfortable and felt like home. - Location was perfect. Outlook was magnificent.
Comfortable and clean.
Beds were very comfortable and we all slept well.
Breakfasts cooked on the Bbq each morning and full kitchen facilities were amazing.
Lounge area was spacious and the board games were well used.
No dishwasher but that’s ok. Plenty of helpers to wash up.
Owners must have an amazing cleaner as they have a good eye for detail.
Couldn’t fault our stay.
Will stay again To be nit picky an extra toilet or bathroom would of been good
- Margo (8/5): Great views, comfortable and spacious accommodation. - The view from the verandah is beautiful. You can sit outside on the outdoor chairs in the sun.
Two big lounges to relax on in the evening. There is a BBQ and seating area and beautiful garden.
There is a full laundry and clothes line. Easy parking. Note that you need to walk up quite a few stairs to access the front door. The host gave helpful instructions before we arrived. Kitchen items like oil, salt aren't supplied. There may be a few bits that other guests have left.
There was a dog barking quite a lot. It was a border collie a few units away, probably needed a good walk.
The accommodation could do with a better clean of the carpets and in the wardrobes.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Sue (10/5): - Hotel was clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance to everything. Restaurant onsite was great and the seafood platter delicious
- Tim (8/5): Very good - Loved the view, great space, comfortble furniture, excellent ammenities, easy to find, quiet location, well presented, heaps of entertainment
- Joanne (9/5): Superb -
- Carolyn (8/5): Overall we had a very pleasant stay - Amazing views
Kitchen well equipped
Lots of entertainment with books, games and puzzles Would be nice to know the house is a duplex with full time residents in the front unit prior to booking as you could hear their music and TV, they also had a dog
Extra toilet paper would have been nice as we nearly out
Would be nice if TV was upgraded with streaming services
- Sian (9/5): Great communication with hosts and appreciative of the information given. Would definately recommend to others - Location and amenities, very clean and tidy Unable to utilize the pans due to excessive scratches, was able to use the electric pan instead which was fine
- Angela (9/5): Superb - The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The view from the balcony was beautiful and relaxing.
- Kenneth (7/5): Good - Fabulous view
- Michael (9/5): A good place to stay for easy access to Coles Bay - Good place to stay. Nice views, Everything provided. No complaints. Nothing really.
- James (5/5): Love the area. Accommodation ok. - Good view. Electronic door lock so you can't loose keys. Beautiful area. Two rolls of loo paper for 5 days. No milk for tea and coffee. Tiny soap and shampoo. Stingy considering what we paid to stay. Advertised as house but really unit with common balcony with neighbour and common wall. Needs a good clean.Unit a time warp to the eighties.
- Katherine (8/5): Very good -
- Dodd (5/5): Has really been the low point of our trip. For what we paid, we did not expect to have to reset the trip or sit in darkn - The view was lovely and mostly well stocked with all that was needed. The power continually went off and we had to reset the trip constantly. The manager visited but made no difference, we spent most of our stay in darkness. The lower room had what smelt like a dead snake in the wall. All the dishes needed washing before we used them and shower over bath outdated.
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thomas (9/5): Superb -
- Robin (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Nothing
- Meredith (10/5): A really beautiful place to stay that felt like a real home but in an amazing location. - The view was amazing from the lounge and bedroom and the balcony. The house was so tastefully furnished and felt really homely. We enjoyed the spa as well. Fully decked out kitchen was amazing also. nil
- Andrew (9/5): Great location, solid views. - Great views. Had all the amenities we required travelling as a family.
- Tegan (8/5): Lovely relaxing home. - Beautiful old home with a gorgeous view! Nice heavy curtains in bedrooms for sleep. Fully equipped kitchen and plenty of games/books for entertainment! Charged $35 for a portacot that to be honest was not up to scratch and would not meet current safety standards. Provided wrong code for check in.
- Sajith (9/5): Absolutely awesome experience with stunning views and well presented house. - Very well presented. Awesome views… The house had all that we needed and more!! One of the bedrooms was quite dusty. One of us had dust allergy and we had to clean the room before using it.
- Damien (8/5): Very good -
- Gregory (9/5): Superb - A very nice home for a couple of nights (we wish we could have stayed longer). Comfortable, quiet, well equipped, and a great location for exploring the Freycinet area.
- Marie-paule (10/5): We had a fantastic stay - The view A bit of dust here and there
- Eric (9/5): Superb -
- Anne (9/5): Superb -
- Catherine (10/5): Exceptional - Gorgeous view!
- Richard (7/5): Great view. Beach cabin. - Great view and location. Helpful staff. Decent stove and fridge. Could be a little cleaner. Cobwebs, insects on bed etc. Could have some more basics like shampoo and tissues.
- Ishatpal (10/5): Excellent property, mesmerising views and great value for money. - The views were spectacular, the property was very neat and clean and had all required appliances. There was only 1 toilet - we knew about this prior to booking but if possible for landlord - adding an extra bathroom will make it even more appealing to future tourists. This is just a suggestion and nothing negative.
- Emily (8/5): Very good - The view. The furnishings made the place comfortable. There was no safety railing or ladder installed in the downstairs bunk. We had to use our own octopus straps to to secure them.
Also, the property was further from Coles Bay than we expected.
- Jo (1/5): Bad -
- Bronwyn (9/5): Exceptional fun - Location was awesome.
- Johnnypoppet (8/5): Great stay. - The lounge room was very spacious and the rooms moved naturally from it. The bathroom was excellent and the shower was super warm. The bath and shower combination was really cool go use. The view was great to top the whole thing off plus you could see it well from the lounge room. The beds were pretty comfortable, the downstairs bedroom was a nice escape from the rest of the house. It only had one bathroom. Two would have been more optimal.
- Nimmisg (8/5): Very good -
- Maureen (9/5): Superb -
- Susan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Petra (10/5): Luxury and cozyness with a grand view - I loved the 180 degree view, the spacious timber clad rooms, the big and very well equipped kitchen and the two wonderful modern recliner seats, the spa bath , the lovely courtyard and the incredible star studded night sky. It was only 5min to the cruise from there. There was nothing I did not like
- Caitlin (9/5): thank you! - lovely view, lots of bedrooms, well
stocked kitchen, roomy parking
- Mike (5/5): Passable - We have stayed there once before and it was excellent, therefore we booked again.Cleaning had deteriorated and only 1 toilet roll for 4 nights and 1 small soap, no other toiletries ..Had a coffee capsule machine with no pods unlike previously.Only 1 bin liner and no cleaning detergent. overall cleaning had deteriorated.Best view and verandah ,but disappointed overall in less 6 months. Position, verandah ,courtyard and privacy.
- Steve (10/5): Exceptional - Location was excellent with a short drive to village
- Tanya (4/5): Very disappointing - The comfortable beds and the view All kitchen items had to be washed before use, outside area near front door was not clean and chairs not even upright, property is very dated which is fine if the price is appropriate, bunk bed not safe for a child as top rail and ladder not secure enough, property needs a good clean including dusting and the photos online make this property look better than it is. All of these things would not be an issue if the high price didn’t set the expectations. This property was very disappointing and more appropriately priced around $180-200 per night. Won’t be returning.
- Lindy (8/5): Very good - Very roomy, great location and lovely views The hedge needs to be trimmed so you can enjoy the views even more
- Merelyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hisanori (9/5): Very comfortable. -
- Michael (9/5): Superb -
- Moschogianis (8/5): Very good -
- Catherine (7/5): Good - Location Needs a good dust and clean.
- Christine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mike (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dudley (10/5): excellent - view was amazing
location brilliant
house very comfortable
- Celia (8/5): Lovely house in a great location - Stayed at Freycinet Panorama for 2 nights a couple of weeks ago with my elderly parents. They had the master bedroom and were very pleased with their comfortable bed, however, I tried out both of the other two double beds and they were extremely hard. I ended up having to put blankets under the sheets on the second night in order to get a good night's sleep. A good mattress topper would probably fix the problem. Other than that, we loved the house and the amazing view. It was equipped with everything we needed and the lounge area was lovely with very comfortable chairs. A comfortable bed is definitely very important though.
