Rosie was a wonderful host, who made us very welcome and reinforced that she was only a phone call away if we needed anything. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend to others. The sun didnt shine for long enough for us to enjoy the courtyard :(

We received a warm welcome from Rose, who couldn't have been more helpful. Seven family members really enjoyed our stay in 2 of the apartments while attending a wedding in nearby Cushendun. We appreciated the free parking just behind the apartments. The location is ideal, in the pretty and friendly village of Cushendall, and a great base for exploring the very scenic County Antrim coast and glens. Highly recommended. We would love to return.

• Zoe (9/5): Peaceful rest in a beautiful part of the world - Extremely clean apartment, very tidy. Easy (and free) parking out back. The host was very pleasant and helpful. Very comfortable beds. Quiet, undisturbed sleep. We saw a heron fishing on the back behind! The folks upstairs kerthunked their luggage down the metal stairs on their way out at 8am, but we were already awake. Not the host's fault, and the place was otherwise extremely serene.

• Clare (10/5): Wish we'd booked for longer! - Loved our stay in Cushendall. The apartment was lovely, spacious and modern. Parking was easy, directly behind the property. The beds were very comfortable. Its located really centrally on a beautiful street with pubs and restaurants and is 2 mins walk to the Spar shop. Lovely swim and jumping in at the boat ramp which is a short walk from the centre, and paddling at the beach. Very easy access to Glenariff for walks and waterfalls. Overall, perfect base for the whole Northern Irish coast.

• Osborn Wright (10/5): Apartamento MUY bueno en un pueblo tranquilo y precioso. - El checkin fue rapido y comodo. Rose, la dueña, vino a explicar como funciona todo. Tuvimos el primer piso, con dos habitaciones. Es un apartamento amplio con dos habitaciones dobles, una cocina muy bien equipada , un comedor /estar y una ducha de buen tamaño. A traves de una escalera exterior al que se acede a traves de la cocina hay un pequeño patio con flores para poder comer fuera o tomar el sol, si sale!! Las camas eran super comodas, y las habitaciones de buen tamaño, totalmente recomendable el apartamento, y super limpio. El apartamento esta situado enfrente el Centro de informaciôn, y hay parking delante o detrás. Estuvimos un jueves y viernes y es una calle muy tranquila por la noche. Hay varias ofertas en este pueble precioso, para comer, o take-away. En la gasolinera/ tienda, a dos minutos caminando, hay maquinas de lavado/secado de ropa , nos fue muy bien después de estar viajando durante casi una semana! El pueblo de Cushendall, situado al lado del rio Dall está entre muchos pueblos encantadores costeros que hay que visitar, junto con los "Glens", es dificil escoger uno. Nos ha gustado muchísimo. No poder quedarnos más dias!!

• Loretta (9/5): Great little flat in Cushendall high street - The apartment was very clean. The beds were comfortable and all was in good working order. The owner was helpful and very accommodating. We would have loved to have been able to do a load of washing but unfortunately there wasn't a washing machine at the apartment. It was equipped with everything else though (hairdryer, TV with Netflix etc., iron and ironing board etc).

It kept us awake for a couple of nights. You can hear every step and every word said. Could probably do with some sound proofing on the floors.

• Nuala (10/5): Beautiful Cushendall - Exceptional original property in a stunning, central location with the Dall river at the back and parking. Immaculately clean, high spec, tasteful with everything you need and more. Tourist information directly across the road that is next door to a lovely bar that hosts amazing traditional musicians. Across to the left, a petrol station and shop with a good selection and great local produce. A wonderful host to put the icing on the cake! Roll on our next trip. 😁

• Sarah (7/5): I wouldn't stay here as a woman alone, however with two of us we gave each other courage. - Excellent location, very clean and well equipped. The outside of the building looks very shabby, we were a little shocked by it and the parking area round the back did not look safe. There is an outside fire escape that was optimistically described as a balcony which we felt was unsafe as intruders could easily get in that way. As two women alone we did not feel safe with a clear glass front door either, which you have to pass to get to one of the bedrooms. We texted the host for instructions to operate the TV and she just sent the same ones that were in the info book, which do not work as we had explained to her in the text, so basically the TV was not working.

Johnny Joe's was a delight and staff and customers were warm and welcoming. The Central Bar and Lurig well worth a visit too. Could not fault a thing about our accommodation or Cushendall.

I don’t know how long they have been open but it feels like it was opened last week. Everything was so clean and new. The kitchen is amazing and the beds are so comfy. The only negative is we only stayed 3 days.
