• DL Aquino (9/5): Best place to stay in the city with an average budget. - It's the cleanest place stayed in Danang. Very accessible to shops and spas. Food was great at the buffet, clean and organise. Staff are friendly and able to speak english. Would definitely recommend and stay here again. 🌺🫶 None.

First Time & The Last time. - NONE I booked this hotel two months in advance, but upon check-in the staff told me my booking was “not found” and that the hotel was fully booked. As a foreign traveler, this was extremely stressful. After I insisted, they suddenly found a room and gave it back to me. This situation should never have happened and shows poor booking management and lack of empathy. Good location, but terrible handling of guests. I would not recommend this hotel.

• Mustafa (10/5): Great location, helpful staff and competitive rate - The location was excellent. I had a clear view of the Dragon Bridge from my window, and the hotel is conveniently close to the river, restaurants, ATMs, the night market, and other amenities. Breakfast was acceptable but unremarkable. The main issue was food management rather than quality. Portions were tightly controlled, and basic items such as bread or butter ran out several times, requiring guests to ask staff to replenish them. I really liked this hotel even before arriving, as they accommodated my request and assigned me a high-floor room with an incredible view of the Dragon Bridge. The nightly rate was very good value. The staff were helpful throughout my stay, especially the daytime receptionist, Thu, who was friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. The hotel also offers a secure, 24/7 staffed motorcycle parking area. This gave us complete peace of mind when leaving our hired motorcycle at the hotel throughout our stay. I will definitely return to Da Nang and would stay at this hotel again due to its excellent price, service, and location. Language barrier as night shift staff did not speak English at all.

Breakfast quality was not very good. Didn't know what happen to the staff serving eggs and noodles, but he was not very friendly when we make our requests for eggs.

We strolled down alongside the water to watch the show for the atmosphere but could've easily stayed in our room to enjoy it with the fantastic views of the river and dragon bridge. The hotel needs some tlc but the room was very spacious, nice smelling towels and great value for money. We truly appreciated the upgrade. A special mention to the lovely porter we met at check in who gave such honest answers about the local area and where to eat. Breakfast is mainly local cuisine but tastes good. Food was regularly restocked. Overall a pleasant stay! The walls are a little thin that you could hear neighbours yelling next door, but this wouldn't be within the hotels control.

Los ruidos en el pasillo de las otras habitaciones, a los gritos, nos tocaban el timbre.. basura en el pasillo por dos días que ya tenía mal olor. El desayuno malísimo, solo una variedad de fruta, si se quedaba sin algo había que pedir insistente para que pongan de nuevo, el café poco y recalentado! 15 días en Vietnam 7 hoteles y este el peor, no lo recomendamos para nada.

• Anne (6/5): Handy to Dragon Bridge for fire show. - Merry Hotel is located close to the Dragon Bridge. The room was basic but clean. We had a short walk to watch the dragon breathe fire at 9pm. It’s quite spectacular. Check out at 12noon is generous if you are a late sleeper and luggage can be left at reception until you are ready to leave. As there is no restaurant, we found a fabulous “steamer” restaurant. Turn left when you leave the hotel and walk across the first intersection. Long Qiao is on the corner. It’s an experience to remember. The porter was attentive and keen to assist us. The breakfast for European travellers was poor. The hotel caters more for Asian people. There were only 2 small slices of watermelon left on the buffet so I asked for some more fruit, but none was forthcoming. Our omelettes were undercooked. Only white bread was available for toasting. The twin beds were firm and to our liking but the was pillow was hard and lumpy. The electricity turns off when you leave the room so the “fridge” was always warm.

The location was handy and the facilities adequate. The property presents well, albeit a little tired looking. The breakfast was included and was nice and in comfortable surroundings. Our window curtains were torn. To the extent it was hard to tell where to open or close them.

Considering I stayed in the hotel for 11 days, as opposed to the many 'one night only' tour groups, a room with a view would have been appreciated. Of course, other new buildings sprouting up to spoil views is a common problem for many hotels, so I didn't make a fuss. Good location outweighed no view.

• Cha (7/5): Good experience. - The staff are quick to respond and accommodating of our requests. The facilities can be improved like soundproofing to avoid disturbances from other guests, bed linens look worn and almost brownish. But it is not bad based on the pricing.
• Shivani (7/5): Good location with comfortable rooms - Good location and room was comfortable. We had bathroom sink blockage and they fixed it in no time. Lack of food options for breakfast. Staff failed to understand simple English or chose not to listen.
