• Michael (10/5): 1 Week stay in July - Irene was very friendly and communicated effectively throughout my stay. She could also recommend places to eat out or places to shop if I wanted to cook. I also had no issue parking out on the front.
• Sean (7/5): Good for price - This is a pleasant room in a house comfortable and cheap The area looks a bit rundown but this did not effect the stay parking was ok

Irene is a great host she explained everything, she was patient, friendly and generally nice. There was nothing I did not like.

Property was a bit tricky to find as it isn't located correctly in the street on Google maps, so don't just rely on that. The host gave very clear instructions so just follow those.

Not an issue, but worth noting that there might be other Booking.com guests staying in an adjacent room, so worth closing your door with a key provided by Irene, as you won't know who stays there.

• Argonotic (9/5): Digs does the job in style! - Owner Irene was very nice. (So was her border terrier)!Quick communication too. I wound up with a 2 bedroom house to myself, which was a welcome surprise. The house is decorated in African motifs, with vibrant coloured patterns in each room. Also fitted with Middle Eastern glass lighting. Such a contrast to drab, commercial hotel rooms! Kitchen is fully fitted with most everything you might need. Bathroom has a tub & handheld shower. Bed and pillows were comfy and Irene had supplied 3 large, sealable bottles of drinking water. The living room had a decent size TV with Netflix. Everything was clean and up to standard. There's also some shops, takeaways and a large Tesco within a few minutes walk. If you stay here during cold months, bring warm sleepwear! The boiler looks fairly new and did a good job, but the walls and windows couldn't retain the heat. As per Irene's very understandable request, I switched the boiler off before going to sleep. Let's just say morning was a bit more invigorating than usual! Also could benefit with softer towels and one bright light.

• Molly (8/5): Short, sweet and inviting. - Had a lovely stay me and my boyfriend went to see queen's of the stone age and needed a place to stay for the night. The host was very welcoming and showed us to our room. There was another guy with his son who were also going to see the band so she arranged a taxi for us too. The room was really cool I loved the theme and it was very peaceful and comfortable. Our kettle also broke and the host found us another straight away. Overall highly recommend if you need a few nights away 👍🏻

Enjoyed meeting Elsa the pooch as well. Insanely comfy bed, large room, plenty of facilities, decent coffee, great shower. Plus owner went away with her 2 dogs so we and our dog could have the whole house and enclosed garden. Close to a lovely park. Neighbour's freindly and kids came out to meet poppy. Some lights were very dim in rooms. Not keen on area .but partner went out and said people freindly..
