Good location , just 5 min from Mall of Istanbul and 15-20min to outlets. 40-50 min by taxi to the old center ( depends on traffic) The breakfast was a shame . Nothing homemade - no Turkish pastries . The veggies were old , nothing healthy like nuts or oats . No pancakes or gofres for the kids . The spa - a cold swimming pool and a far away sauna and steam - so you can’t combine the three facilities . Not comfortable .

The location !!! you are saying that is 200 m from the mall of istanbul but 200 m is flying distance, in the reality you can't walk across the highway you need taxi to go there and it's about 5 km driving and due to trafic it takes more than 15 min and about 9 € one way !!!!!

We had level 25 with view at the mall, and at checkin we received a huge apartment upgrade for a small difference, so you feel like a king here. Very friendly staff, Recep and the rest are super. Amazing breakfast, pool, location. Thank you will definitely come again! We received a suite upgrade to livingroom and 2 bedrooms, but one bedroom the heating was NOT working properly, so when its cold its a problem. Also wifi was not working one evening, but overall okay. Lastly the area is only accesible by taxi, even if it's near the mall, you can't reach it by walking. I saw they are building a new metro line near it, so in the future it would be even better.

• Ayman M.Elzain (1/5): Extremely Disappointing Stay – Far Below Rotana Standards - ولا شئ Honestly, this has been one of the worst hotel stays we have ever experienced. It is truly shocking to encounter such a low standard from a hotel carrying the Rotana name, especially given our many excellent experiences with the brand in different countries. The reception staff were extremely unprofessional and showed little regard for guests. Upon arrival, the bellboy took my car key and informed me that I could collect it from reception using my room number. However, upon departure, the receptionist ignored my request completely, leaving me waiting for nearly 15 minutes without any response. After insisting, I discovered that the key had been sitting in the drawer the entire time. This level of negligence is unacceptable. The room condition was also very poor: The washing machine was not working. The bed sheets were old, worn out, and visibly dirty. The iron was not functioning. The safe stopped working immediately after use, with the screen going completely blank, putting my belongings at risk. Additionally, there was a strong and unpleasant sewage smell throughout the corridor on my floor, which was extremely disturbing. This was in stark contrast to the lobby, which smelled clean and well-maintained. Communication with reception was also frustrating. Calls were only answered after 3–4 attempts, and there was no follow-up on requests. Maintenance for the washing machine took more than 4 hours and was only addressed after we personally went to reception. We also requested a baby bed at check-in (around 2:00 PM) and were promised immediate delivery. However, after multiple follow-ups, it was only delivered around 12:00 midnight, which is completely unacceptable. Another concerning observation was that the staff appeared visibly stressed and unable to even offer a simple smile to guests, creating an unwelcoming atmosphere.

• Ravi (4/5): poor breakfast, 3 star rooms not a 4 star - My stay was disappointing on multiple fronts. The lift serving the 28th floor wasn’t functioning properly, and the shower unit in my room was clogged, causing very poor water flow. The room also smelled of smoke despite being on a non‑smoking floor. The bathroom had several issues as well — the exhaust fan made a loud noise, and there was an unpleasant smell coming from the gutters. Breakfast was far below expectations, both in quality and variety. Overall, the experience did not reflect the standards of a 3‑star hotel

We requested apartment in more quiet area - and it was very quiet and pleasant where we were placed. Also requested some kitchen equipment - and it was placed in the apartment upon arrival. The breakfast was very tasty and with good choice of food. Want to also take advantage to say special thank you for the reception staff - Batuhan, Ahmet and Mesut. And for our lovely guest relations lady- Jila. They always welcomed us with smile and highes service possible. There was nothing wrong with the Hotel or Staff. Location is far from city and the building is starting to get old, but nevertheless- it’s still a good place for the value with exceptional staff.

Когда просишь о посуде то предоставляют только ложки с вилками и тарелки с чашками, но не роды и кастрюли со сковородой. В отеле есть ресторан но неоправданно дорогой. Второй комплект постельного белья для ребенка нам несли 4 часа, хоть мы и постоянно звонили на ресепшен и время было под 01:30 ночи.

• Emil (10/5): - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful experience at WestSide Residences by Rotana. The service was excellent and the staff were extremely kind and professional. Special thanks to Ahmed, Botu, Recep and Busro – they were very helpful, friendly and made me feel welcome during my stay. They really went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well organized. I highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely come back again!

• Georgios (8/5): - The great view from our apartment (last floor) Spacious size of the apartment We asked 3 times for a kettle (it was supposed to exist in the room amenities) - finally I borrowed one from a colleague's room. Not so clean (for an apartment of this category).

• Nina (2/5): - Nulla Bella struttura,mah non sono preparato personale, avevamo prenotazione x 3 persone , gli danno la stanza x due ( nel frattempo promesso portare 3z letto) dopo 6 tentativi di chiamata ( buttano giù telefono!) siamo riusciti...6 ascensori non si capisce nulla , siamo capitati in piano basso x 20 minuti non riusciamo a salire! Non partiva nessun ascensore.roba da matti! Per fortuna eravamo lì solo un giorno!!!!! Un incubo......

• Abdulaziz (2/5): Overall, the level of service fell far below reasonable expectations. - The only positive aspect of my stay was the night shift staff member, Hakan (if I recall correctly), who was consistently friendly and supportive when I raised my concerns. I experienced poor treatment as a guest on three separate occasions during my stay. First, I booked a residence expecting it to include basic amenities. However, even simple items such as glass cups and a water boiler were missing, and I had to request them. On the first day, I waited over an hour for these essentials to be delivered. On the second day, I waited an hour and a half for the same items, only to later learn that there had been a miscommunication and room service had been told the request was already fulfilled. On the third day, a white shirt went missing from my room. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this with staff, the issue remained completely unaddressed. Additionally, although I had booked breakfast, it was moved to the ground floor and offered a very limited selection despite the hotel being fully booked. There was also no seating available, forcing me to eat my breakfast standing. Lastly I was promised to be called by a manager after filling a complain and no manager bothered even to ask me if I need anything. Overall, the level of service fell far below reasonable expectations.
