Nick (10/5): - I first visited the Druidstone 45 years ago and fell in love with everything about it; the friendly hosts, the homely decor and atmosphere, the perfect location and delicious food. I feel the same every time I visit including my most recent visit in August 2025, which included a fabulous Greek feast.

Katrina (10/5): - I’m always a tad concerned when others call a hotel quirky (what’s one person’s quirky is another person’s odd) but this word is very spy in a very positive way. I’ve never known such a relaxed hotel; the staff (with absolutely no exceptions) went out of their way to engage, chat, explain, facilitate… anything you could want. Early morning coffee I could take on a walk, move cars so mine could charge up, move tables so I could get a great view ( their idea not mine). As a woman travelling on her own, hotels can be daunting, unfriendly and difficult to navigate. Not this one! Yes my room was a tad noisy (but their website did warn of this) and I had to share a bathroom; I didn’t care a doodle! I will definitely be back!

The rooms are basic and have a toilet and sink, but a shared shower not sure if there are ones with a shower. We had a sea view looking out St Brides bay. It’s a short walk to Druidstone beach but it’s a steep one so not for those who can’t walk far. It’s on the coastal path. The hotel is dog friendly. We were lucky enough to be there for a feast If you want to be in a posh hotel in lap of luxury find another hotel, but if you want a great welcome, stunning views and amazing food come to this hotel. Oded (10/5): Great vibes and views - A winning location with exceptional views of the beautiful Pembrokeshire coast. Many beautiful walking trails. An excellent restaurant where the excellent breakfasts are also served. There is a superbly equipped bar and a charming staff that gives a family feeling. Dogs and cats that add to the homely feeling. Pebbles and biscuit, miss you already.

Robert (8/5): Business visit - Great place right on the coast with amazing views from the room. Most of all the staff are great and the place is very relaxing, no TV in the room which was ok with me. the room was a little rough around the edges maybe a splash of paint and bathroom update, but this did not distract from the view and people who run the place, well worth visit if you like coastal walks . The Hotel also has a great little bar serving a good selection of beers. Breakfast was also great ( I had traditional English) I wish I could have stayed longer.

Rebecca (10/5): magical stay. - The perfect spot looking over the bay. Our December stay was beautifully wild and windy. We loved our sea view from our bedroom window when we woke up in the morning. The hotel is very warm and the staff very relaxed and accommodating. The dining room and hall looked magical for the festive period. There was an exhibition on and artwork for sale all over the hotel. Will definitely return.
Verified traveler (8/5): - The location was fantastic, the views beautiful, the atmosphere, friendliness and quirkiness suited us down to the ground. The evening meal was delicious! The chef obligingly catered for my vegan diet and produced an amazing humous platter for a starter with just my sort of main course - we were too full to try desserts but feel sure they would have been equally good. My friends mushroom allergy was quickly catered for too and an excellent soup and then omelette with salad were produced. The house wine was good and the service just what we like - genuinely helpful, not pushy but attentive and going the extra mile when needed. We wanted an earlier start to breakfast and that request was accepted willingly. The only negative feedback from my point of view is my reluctant agreement with some of the reviews which say the accommodation is on the shabbier side of shabby chic. I love quirkiness and character but I do think that the hotel needs more investment in - and attention to - standard of bathrooms (in particular). This is the only reason I stopped short of giving an overall excellent rating. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

Ambiance bohème, service jeune et souriant , joli décor dans le bar et la salle à manger , jardin, salle de bain commune qui mériterait une rénovation . Belles balades à faire sur des chemins le long des falaises . Beau coucher de soleil .

Verified traveler (6/5): - I don't think we understand this hotel. It seems that middle-class creative types love it but we found it just shabby without the chic. I did think that it was a former hostel turned hotel as that is what it appears to be but that is not the case. Very little seems to have been done to the building since it was opened to guests in '74, other than redecorating. Having said this, the location is superb, you couldn't ask for a better spot.

Roger (8/5): Comfortable Pembrokeshire hotel - Lovely hotel with great Pembrokeshire vibe. Staff really excellent; room very comfortable. Outdoor areas lovely, location perfect. Just one minor point: there is (ok) music playing most of the time in the reception and dining areas. For my tastes, it could be just a bit quieter. I will certainly stay again.

Verified traveler (10/5): - The Druidstone Hotel is located on a cliff over a beautiful Pembrokeshire beach. It treats visitors by a greatly relaxed, homey and welcoming atmosphere. The breakfast is very good and the hotel restaurant is a nice place for a fine dinner. The hotel facilities are basic, pets, children and artists are welcomed.

Thomas (10/5): Quirky retreat - This is a quirky homely place which supports the local community. Don’t expect to have TV in room. There is WiFi, but I liked the quiet exposed and beautiful Pembrokeshire Coast it’s part of. Great food too.

Verified traveler (4/5): - The bedding was dirty, the room was dusty on the surfaces, the bathroom was dirty, extremely mouldy, there was a clump of long hair on the side of the bath and the shower had a mind of its own, I ended up washing the shampoo from my hair with cold water! I did sleep ok but the breakfast was barely average! This is by far the worst place I’ve stayed! The trip advisor review entitled ‘shabby not chic’ sums it up in a nutshell! There was also another guest complaining about something at reception but I couldn’t hear exactly what it was he was complaining about?! Maybe you will find out?!
Verified traveler (8/5): Fabulous location, comfortable stay - What a spectacular location, right next to the Coastal Path. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was excellent, although rather a late start (8:30am). Chef was able to accommodate our request to eat earlier one morning. Room was comfortable. Clearly an old building, lots of creaks - all added to the atmosphere. Resembles a hostel more than a hotel, with communal rooms, local events, and regular 'jams' in the bar in the basement!

mark (10/5): - The view was absolutely stunning. It very secluded and overlooks a beach cliff with an overlook to match anywhere. There is really nothing at all close by so once you arrive relaxing and enjoying the scenery should be your plan for the evening. Dinner was good and breakfast was excellent.
