- ALAN (7/5): - We enjoyed the location in the old part of Valletta and the small rooftop terrace (weather not warm enough to use the little pool sadly). Breakfast time was not enjoyable. Dreadful piped music in rather cramped surroundings with a feeling of being hurried on. The smell of the drains in our bathroom was horrible.

Historic building which has been beautifully restored and modernised. Great staff- friendly and helpful- nothing was too much trouble. Good size room with additional benefit of hot tub on balcony The room was very spacious- the balcony less so- particularly with a large part being taken up with the hot tub. It mattered less because there was a terrace and swimming pool nearby.

Hoe blij we ook waren met de andere punten, toch vond ik daardoor prijs-kwaliteit uit balans. Iets te prijzig voor wat het was.

Friendly & efficient staff. Nice rooftop area to relax in. Not fully soundproofed, you can hear other showers, etc. It's a very old building, so can't be helped. Didn't take away from our stay.

Ana-May was particularly helpful when we needed an extra quilt for the bed due to my partner having a bad back. She also upgraded our room to a suite which was a nice surprise! Vanessa was a great help with advising buses to take for various locations. Marvy was also very polite and welcoming every morning when we were going for breakfast. The breakfast is fantastic as there is a wide variety of food with selection of hot and cold food, and always serving tea or coffee every morning to the guests. I appreciated the tea, sugar and milk being replaced every day in our room and also the filtered water provided by the hotel daily! My partner also liked the gym at the hotel. The only thing that we didn’t like were the pillows as we found they very bulky and would have preferred slender cushions.

The hotel and rooms are spotlessly clean and finished to a very high quality. Breakfast was superb with a nice menu of hot food and a buffet for continental options. Would definitely stay there again.

The location is the best - few steps away from the area with all restaurants and cafes, but very quiet and cozy! Everything was amazing!

Το μόνο αρνητικό ήταν ότι επειδή τα παιδιά μας είναι μεγάλα 15 και 16 ετών, ο καναπές κρεβάτι δεν ενδείκνυται. επειδή είναι μικρός και άβολος, οπότε σε τέτοια περίπτωση αναζητείστε δωμάτιο με κανονικό κρεβάτι.

- ΑΘΗΝΑ (10/5): Best stay ever! - Everything perfect...just 👌 PERFECT First of all, we had a free upgrade and our children loved ..got crazy with the room. Thank you for that♥️ The hotel is situated in a perfect location, just next to the center but also far from the noise. Very, very clean. All brand new. All the people who work there very friendly and willing to serve you. The breakfast combines buffet and Ala carte, big variety. A big thank you and many BRAVO for your hospitality ! Don't like...!!??? These words do not fit for this hotel!
- Thomas (9/5): Good hotel centrally located within easy walking distance of most of Valletta. - Breakfast was very good with buffet style breakfast items and cooked options for no extra charge. There were some options for a small extra charge but not really necessary because the included breakfast was more than we required. Very helpful waiting staff. Generally the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Problems were quickly dealt with. The hotel is ideally placed in central Valletta within easy walking distance of most sites and an abundance of different bars, cafes and restaurants. The rooftop bar was closed (seasonal) but the pool was open but not heated. Nice to sit on the rooftop space in the warm sunny afternoons. Room was a little warm because the air con had been switched to heating centrally and couldn’t be overridden for our room. They did provide a powerful fan though which helped.

- Paula Geanina Dolofan si (7/5): - Un apartament dragut. Hidroforul face un zgomot foarte mare cand este folosita baia, deranjand pe toti din apartament. Nu am avut curent electric aprox 2 ore, pana a fost reparat ceva in baie. Din pacate, in loc sa stam la restaurant, am stat 2 ore in camera sa se faca reparatia. Apoi, nu au trimis pe nimeni la curatenie. Am pus noi mana si am curatat praful din baie. Mentionez ca a fost demontat tot tavanul din baie. Nu si-au cerut nici macar scuze!!!
- Maryna (6/5): Horrible noise from the bars - A beautiful hotel, we stayed in a Superior room. Nice breakfast. Everything about the room was beautiful but unfortunately the noise (music) from the bars nearby was playing so late at night it was hard to sleep. The room was hot even though it’s early March and not hot outside. So we had to sleep with the open doors. Additionally, they didn’t provide earplugs.
- silvia (9/5): Un ottimo we lungo nel cuore di Malta - Abbiamo adorato la posizione dell’hotel, proprio nel cuore della città, comoda per muoversi a piedi e scoprire i dintorni. La nostra camera era spaziosa e pulita, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo una giornata di visite. La colazione è stata un vero piacere: con tante opzioni per tutti i gusti. Ma ciò che ci ha colpito di più è stato lo staff: disponibile e pronto a rendere il soggiorno davvero speciale.

- L. Uwe (9/5): Ein wunderschönes Hotel, das nur wenige Wünsche offen lässt. - Zimmer sehr schön mit Ausblick aufs Meer (5. Etage) und eigenem Whirlpool auf dem Balkon. Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut, insbesondere das French Toast und die Eggs Benedict sind sehr lecker. Lage ist in der Nähe des Ausgehviertels, aber man bekommt davon im Hotel nichts mit. Kleiderhaken für Jacken im Zimmer fehlten.
- Marion (10/5): Amazing superb experience - Great quality furniture and fittings. Great breakfast room. Very friendly staff. It was hard to use the hair dryer as there was no plug socket near to a mirror It would have been preferable for a small coffee-style table and chairs in the downstairs section as it was not very safe to carry a cup to the sofa up the winding wrought iron staircase. There was nowhere to sit downstairs. The enclosed terrace was amazing but again no furniture to utilise it which was a shame

- Katherine (10/5): This hotel has to be one of the best in Valletta - Well located for sightseeing and restaurants, this is a beautiful hotel in a restored traditional building. The staff are eager to please and were very helpful in suggesting what to see, how to get there and where to eat. The rooms are beautifully presented, with large comfy beds and immaculately clean. Our room at the rear was quiet and had a distant sea view. Breakfast was a combination of a buffet and cooked options from an extensive menu which included local specialities. We appreciated the availability of an airport transfer arranged by the hotel ( €26 extra cost). The rooftop pool and sitting area was nice but too cold in February to use. We booked a suite with a hot tub which sadly broke during our stay. We missed out on plans to use it one evening. The staff could not have done more to try to resolve this problem and manually refilled it with hot water during the day so we could use it the next evening and moved us to another room with working hot tub as soon as possible. This move made us realize that some rooms are a lot bigger internally than others in the same category ( whilst others have bigger balconies which compensate for the smaller internal area) so if I were staying in future I would want to ask for the balance of space that best suited me. I also found it hard to book the airport transfer through booking.com but this was quickly resolved by calling the hotel direct.

- Robina (8/5): Perfect situation to explore Valletta - Loved the location central to everything in Valletta. Loved the feeling of authentic olde Worlde Malta . Breakfast was good. Room impressive and roof terrace Didn't like the split nature of the hotel which meant you had to leave the building to enter a lower floor for breakfast. There were lifts to avoid that and it also reflects the authentic nature of an old building so it's a minor criticism .

- Paula (9/5): With the exception of the heating issue it was great. - Super helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast options and quality was superb. Room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The November weather was cool and the heating system was set to cool . It wasn't possible to adjust this. The room was chilly. We asked for a solution and were promptly provided with an electric radiator but this was after 3A nights of us attempting to adjust the heating control to realise nothing was happening!
