• Pootegg (9/5): Not a four star hotel but was very clean and functional don't ignore it for good basic accomodation - Great location outside the moat close to bus and rail stations easy access to central festival by grab .. the place was not modern but exceptionally clean with great hospitality from the hosts. This is a two star rated hotel so high scores but it is not a modern chain hotel manage your expectations. We will go again . Very functional . Laundry facilities with good local restaurants and 7/11 closebyv. I need to take a softer pillow .. beds are Thai style hard which is expected . . There is noise as noted by the owner from traffic but close the door to the bathroom and then it is negligible. Expect a few birds enjoying the dawn.

• Anonda-sheryl (10/5): PARFAIT ! - franchement 10/10, des hôtes incroyable, d’une gentillesse hors norme, agréable, serviable, aidant, doux, on est arriver à 7h du matin car on a prit un bus de nuit. Les chambres son censé être dispo pour 14h. Les hôtes ont tout mit en œuvre et nous somme rentrée dans la chambre a 8h. Je sais pas quoi dire à part que notre séjour a était incroyable, chaleureux et doux avec eux. Une chambre propre, efficace, à coter de la gare vraiment à 2/3 min à pied, le Night Market est pas très loin non plus. Franchement c’était comme des deuxième parents pour nous. Ils sont tellement gentils et agréable. Merci à eux pour leurs accueils incroyables et leurs gentillesses pur. Ils méritent plus que se commentaire. Je leur souhaite toute la réussite du monde, je recommande l’hôtel à 1000000%. Merci Beaucoup pour tout

• Mandy (10/5): More than pleasant. Loving and caring people. Good location. - The nicest hosts ever. 💕 If you like solid beds and wind chimes, this is the place for you. Instant coffee station, private fridge & bathroom, A/C, TV, nice room. A little garden und you can do your laundry.

I hope I can stay here again in the future. Great location aswell in the quieter part of chiang mai but close enough to the city centre

• Andrew (10/5): - The staff...being the owner. Absolutely delightful women. She made us feel so welcome after a long bus trip. Soo helpful. The accommodation is basically a hotel room. Very clean. Location is perfect if you are catching a bus to Pai or Chiang Rai. Nothing!!! Perhaps the bed was hard but it's tough to find a soft bed anywhere in northern Thailand
• Mary (8/5): - Great little place to stay, a couple of minutes walk from the bus station, if you're taking a bus in and out of Chiang Mai. The hosts are very friendly and helpful giving excellent tips regarding where to eat locally. The room is very clean and there's a pretty garden too. The bed was quite hard but fine for 1 night.

• Dimitri (9/5): Très bon rapport qualité prix et très bon emplacement pour prendre le bus - Les propriétaires sont d'une extrême gentillesse et sont très disponibles pour rendre votre séjour agréable. Ils nous ont d'emblée proposé une chambre un peu plus spacieuse (comme un petit studio) et à l'écart du passage pour notre tranquillité car nous restions 2 nuits. L'hébergement est simple mais dispose de tout ce qui est nécessaire. Eau à volonté. Proximité du terminal des bus. Le bruit des équipements techniques qui se trouvent juste devant la fenêtre de la chambre. Une petite lampe de chevet à côté du lit serait bienvenue.
• djoneverett (8/5): - Staff was super friendly and caring. Location is good near the Bus station but tucked away in a more quite corner. Nice little garden was a a good place to relax. Mattress was very firm - some people like that, but for me I prefer a softer one. The curtains. Don't entirely block out the light outside my unit and I'm a bit sensitive to light when trying to fall asleep. For a budget stay it's still quite good.

La signora, simpaticissima e sempre sorridente (come anche il marito), ha addirittura inserito un foglio di carta igienica tra OGNI PAGINA del mio passaporto per farlo asciugare prima, perchè si era resa conto che era bagnato. lo metto qui ma più come consiglio che come lamentela: il letto è un po' duro quindi se siete abituati a letti morbidi potreste far fatica a dormire

Niesamowici gospodarze, z którymi można porozmawiać, duży i przestronny pokój, niesamowicie czysto, wszystko bez zarzutu, codziennie dostawałem również wodę. Lokalizacja bardzo blisko dworca autobusowego, z którego można pojechać w różne rejony Tajlandii. Nie było takiej rzeczy.

The location is a 5min walk to the bus station, perfect if you have an early bus to catch. The room has everything you need, A/C, fan, refrigerator, plugs near the bed, hot water and towels. I will definitely book this place again when I go back to Chiang Mai and I highly recommend. Nothing

• Annika (10/5): Liebste Vermieterin, nah am Busbahnhof - Sehr nah am Busbahnhof gelegen. Die Besitzerin ist unglaublich lieb. Sie hat uns kostenlos Kaffee und Kekse angeboten. Am Morgen vor unserer Abfahrt hat sie uns auch noch Bananen von ihrer Farm mitgegeben. Das fanden wir super nett. Das Zimmer ist einfach eingerichtet, hat aber alles was man braucht. Die Klimaanlage ist leise, die Handtücher riechen frisch (ist ja leider oft nicht der Fall). Es gibt einen großen Kühlschrank und warmes Wasser zum Duschen. Shampoo und Zahnbürste werden auch von der Vermieterin gestellt. Hinten ist ein kleiner Garten und es stehen drei Fahrräder zur kostenlosen Verfügung, die wir aber nicht genutzt haben. Die Betten sind etwas hart. Aber das ist in Thailand ja oft so.

You may get fresh berries from the garden, tea and biscuits. You can watch birds in the garden. The place is super clean. It is close to the bus station. It's a bit further from the city center.

It was absolutely perfect for my extended 5 week stay to attend school nearby. Amie is the perfect hostess and went far beyond what she needed to in order to assure my stay was top notch. I highly recommend Ban Maitree to meet all needs for affordability and accessibility for a long term stay in Chiang Mai. Aime is so pleasant to talk to that I wanted to stay longer and she stopped me feeling homesick. The place is very clean and the hosts are really helpful with recommendations for transport and reasonably priced places to eat. Truly a lovely few days staying there Nothing.

Also, very handy location for any bus connections, and still plenty of amenities within walking distance. Oh, and the garden is lovely, indeed. I never give a 10, because I do not believe in perfection, but this is SO near it, I will make an exception.
