A damage deposit of AUD 300 is required. The host charges this 14 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 14 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
Please note there is a 2.9% Stripe payment gateway surcharge when you pay for the accommodation. This transfers the funds to a trust account until you stay. A Refundable Bond is payable by credit card 30 days prior to arrival and is refunded 7 business days after departure. All payments are to be made by credit card via Stripe payment gateway. Please note that Stripe credit card transaction fees are non refundable should you cancel after a deposit or full payment is processed. They remain with Stripe and we do not receive money from the transaction fees whatsoever.
Payments will appear as *SEC ACCOMMODATED BYRON BAY/LENNOX HEAD NSW* on your bank statement. If the Australian Government issues a Coronavirus (COVID-19) directive that prohibits you being able to stay at the property then we can offer a transfer of dates up to 12 months ahead of the original booking dates. We do not offer refunds or transfers for the guest who booked the property or their travel companions should they test positive for Coronavirus (COVID-19) prior to their booked dates.
