• Thomas (8/5): - The villa had 3 Bedrooms and 3 batheooms, which was perfect for 6 People. The hosts were super friendly. Several roosters around the villa were super loud, starting to cry 4am. This is a pity, because the villa would be totally fine, but the noise is disturbing.

• Fain (7/5): - The house was spacious and pleasant. It had large bathrooms, roomy bedrooms, and a bright living room. Overall, we had a good time; basically we only went to the house to sleep. The house was clean and matched the pictures on Booking, except for the view and the surroundings, which were quite depressing: a lot of dirt, the smell from the animal farm next door, and half a dozen roosters crowing all night long. Half of the kitchen appliances did not work (the water dispenser, toaster), although this may have been because all the electrical outlets in the kitchen were constantly sparking and tripping the circuit breaker. A washing machine and a dishwasher were sorely missed. Although the hosts offered laundry service for 200 rupees per load. The staff were kind and helpful, but we did not really like the fact that out of the 8 days we stayed there, cleaning was done only during the first 2 days(but no dishwashing)and not on any of the following days, even though two of those days were during Christmas. On the day before our departure, I even had to specifically ask for clean towels.

• Stuart (9/5): Great stay in lovely house set in a brilliant location for all that La Digue has to offer - Great size house in a great location Furniture is all too hard so uncomfortable and ceiling fans required downstairs where there is no aircon
• Ainhoa (8/5): Anfitriones muy atentos. Grandes estancias en una casa bonita en barrio local - La Villa tiene tres habitaciones grandes con tres baños de gran tamaño. Tiene dos terrazas. El desayuno estuvo muy rico, tomamos tostadas con mantequilla y mermelada, café con leche, zumo, huevos fritos y plato de fruta variada. Muy amables los anfitriones que siempre nos ayudaron con todo. Nos proporcionaron rápido alquiler de bicis. A la llegada y partida tienen un mini bus que te trae y lleva al puerto por unos 9€ el viaje total independientemente del número de personas. Al lado hay otra villa que es tipo hotel y se alquila por habitaciones. La casa está localizada en lo alto de una cuesta en un barrio local con construcciones no sé si en curso o abandonadas que deslucen un poco las vistas pero te da la oportunidad de ver cómo vive la gente de allí. Había animales de granja en las casas aledañas (oyes los gallos al lado por la mañana).
• Erika (8/5): Wunderschönes riesiges authentisches Haus mit Dorffeeling - Das Haus ist wunderschön, riesig, gepflegt und sauber, große Badezimmer, 3 Schlafzimmer, gute Matratzen, alles perfekt. Tolles Panorama. Extrem freundliche Gastgeber. Wir waren zu 5, mit unseren mittlerweile erwachsenen Kindern und jeder hatte genug Platzt und Ruhe für sich. 10/10 Die Grundstücke daneben sind ungepflegt, teilweise Baustelle, und mir persönlich haben die Hähnen den Schlaf geraubt aber das ist individuell.
• Karola (6/5): Nette Unterkunft in bescheidender Lage - Die Unterkunft an sich ist recht schön und verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer mit Badezimmern, Küche, Wohnzimmer und 2 Terrassen. Leider liegt die Unterkunft auf einem Berg. Die Nachbarschaft ist laut. Wir wurden regelmäßig von den Hähnen gegen 4-5 Uhr morgens geweckt. Es war recht laut. Der Transfer zum Hafen (5 Min Fahrt) hat 10 EUR pro Strecke gekostet. Sollte bei dem Zimmerpreis als Serviceleistung mitangeboten werden. Ich würde die Unterkunft nicht nochmal buchen
• French (10/5): - Amazing villa with great views. Extremely clean and spacious.
• Lars (10/5): Nice place with a great wiew - The house is on a hill overlooking the town. It means that you have to walk up the hill, but once you get there the wiew is great. Especially the sunsets. The rooms are big, nice and clean. The service was great. The lady that takes care of the house also took good care of us. If I come back some day, I will stay there again.
• Christine (8/5): Très bon séjour - Très bon séjour à la Ville Hortensia. Cadre verdoyant, villa en pleine nature et très fleuri. Personnel et propriétaire très accueillant et au petit soin.
• Nicolas (6/5): Moyen - Chambre : Elle donnait vers l'intérieur. C'était assez bruyant on entendait des machines qui s'allumaient tôt le matin et les rideaux sont peu épais. Le lit est confortable. Le savon et le shampoing n'ont pas été ajouté pendant le séjour (3 nuits). La lunette des toilettes trop petite. Le reste est fonctionnel et correct Le petit déjuener est maigre : 2 oeufs, quelques fruits, des tranches de pain avec beurre et confiture et boissons. (À éviter si vous êtes intolérant au gluten) L'employée est très aimable et professionelle. Par contre, le propriétaire n'est pas très agréable et à chaque demande ou question on avait l'impression de l'embêter. On a du relancer pour avoir un taxi pour la descente. Aucun message de l'hôtel en amont de l'arrivée Il y'a une montée très pentue pour arriver à l'hôtel (à anticiper si vous avez des bagages) mais la vue depuis les parties communes est superbe. À l'étage il y'a des fauteuils qui permettent d'apprécier une grosse partie du coucher de soleil avec un turtle cider local. Les vélos proposés par l'hôtel sont à 100 roupie par personne par jour. Qualité correcte et suffisante pour visiter l'île.

• Alex (10/5): - Sehr schön gelegenes Guesthouse auf einem Hügel, ca. 1 km im Inselinneren. Durch die Hügellage toller Blick über den umliegenden Wald, Berge und Küste mit tollen Sonnenuntergängen. Haus ist in neuwertigem Zustand, mit großer Veranda und Terrassenbereich. Zimmer sind großzügig geschnitten, mit eigenem großen Badezimmer. Insgesamt verfügt das Haus über 7 Gästezimmer im EG und 1. OG, davon zwei Zimmer ohne Blick zur Küste und mit Ausrichtung zum Hinterhof. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht: Das Frühstück bestand aus einem täglichen Früchteteller, Toast mit Marmelade, Kaffee/Tee und Saft. Bei Bedarf gibt es auch Spiegeleier, Rührei oder Omelette. Das Abendessen bestand aus sehr leckeren Fisch- oder Hähnchengerichten mit Reis und Salat. Die Gastgeberin war früher Köchin im Nachbarhotel - und das schmeckt man! Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr freundlich, wir wurden vom Bootssteg mit einem Elektro-Caddy abgeholt. Fahrradverleih und Supermarkt sind fußläufig zu erreichen (ca. 10 Min.). Insgesamt eine wirklich schön gelegene Anlage, wir können die Villa Hortensia guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen!
