• lisa (8/5): really nice stay - The room was very clean and big enough. Bathroom and especially the shower was really nice. The house is 5 minutes walk to the main central station which is very convenient
• MICHELE (10/5): Weekend a Palermo - La struttura si trova in un palazzo storico in via Maqueda, vicinissima ai 4 Canti. Comoda anche la vicinanza alla stazione ferroviaria. La strada di notte ,anche se non passano veicoli, è un po' rumorosa a causa del vociare della gente che passa, ma comunque si riesce a dormire bene

• Eugenia (6/5): ok para una noche - Es un apartamento en el cual se alquilan las habitaciones. Está bien pero es justo. Estuvimos una noche y para eso está bien. Fue muy sencilla la llegada y la salida. La habitación era un poco oscura y el baño era privado pero fuera.

• Julina (7/5): Ohrstöpsel nicht vergessen! - Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und hat einem alles gezeigt und Tipps gegeben. Die Zimmerdecken sind hoch. Die Dekoration ist interessant- wenn auch teils makaber Die Badsituation ist etwas schwierig. Die Betten sind leider sehr unbequem und das Zimmer hat kein Tageslicht. Das negativste war leider die Lautstärke. Die Gegend ist nachts noch sehr belebt und extrem laut, die geschlossenen Fenster verringern die Lautstärke höchstens um einen Dezibel.

• Wanda (10/5): The space is lovely, comfortable, very clean, and host Anna is attentive and always available to address any questions. - It was in a very central location, close to the train and bus station, and to the historic centre. There were shops just outside the door with anything you might need, and the Ballarò market was close by. The room was spacious, comfortable, and quiet at night. There was a kitchen to make simple meals and coffee or tea. And there was a common room to dine or read or socialize. Everything was just fine. No complaints.

Trotz diesen Macken würde wieder kommen ,es gibt Geschirr und Kaffee - Apartment ist in de Nähe von Zentralen Bahnhof in der Nähe von Ballaro und Quatro Canti.Alles super zu Fuß erreichbar. Kein Netz,in Appartement sind dicke Wände sogar mein mobiles Internet hat nur an eine Stelle funktioniert.Ansonsten gibt’s Internet in Gemeinschaftsraum.Da es altes Haus ist im Bad riecht es nach Kanalisation (aber ist Raumduft in der Steckdose ).
• Laura (7/5): Gentilezza e pulizia nel cuore della città - Posizione comodissima a due passi dalla stazione, dal mercato di Ballarò e dalle principali vie turistiche. Proprietaria molto gentile e disponibile, ci ha fornito molte informazioni turistiche e soprattutto ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli per tutta la giornata dopo il check out per permetterci di visitare ancora la città prima di ripartire per l'aeroporto. La camera era molto grande, pulita e silenziosa, i letti comodi. Non è un bed & breakfast, non viene fornita alcuna colazione né voucher per bar esterni, c'è solo un bollitore e una macchinetta del caffè. Sconsiglio la camera con il bagno privato esterno, che seppur molto pulito e funzionale, è davvero angusto e privo di finestra, oltre alla doccia e gli arredi che potrebbero essere cambiati e più curati. Opinione personale ma negli spazi comuni sono presenti alcuni arredi a forma di insetti giganti, che appena entrati ci hanno fatto prendere un colpo. Personalmente li trovo inquietanti e li cambierei.

• Marcin (3/5): Apartament do natychmiastowej poprawy - Właścicielka starała się o dobrą atmosfere Budynek jest w trakcie generalnego remontu. Brama wejściowa wyglądała jak z do „mordoru”. Klatka schodowa odrapana, zaniedbana, brak WiFi w pokoju - tylko w pokoju wspólnym, brak możliwości uruchomienia kuchenki, z kranu od prysznicem leciała bardzo gorąca woda, na prośbę o naprawę prysznica pani napisała że zrobiła i lecą zimna. Śmierdzi fekaliami w tym apartamencie.

• Volha (10/5): - Очень хорошее расположение апартаментов, владелец итальянский дедушка встретил нас лично и все показал, был очень вежлив, в холодильнике была вода для нас, это было очень мило. Сами апартаменты представляют собой старинную квартиру с высокими потолками и красивым ремонтом, достаточно чистые. Могу смело рекомендовать эти апартаменты!

• Ilona (3/5): Gelaunte Nachtruhe - Lage und Ausstattung waren akzeptabel. Personal, bei Schlüsselübergabe freundlich, ansonsten nicht erreichbar. Der Grund für die Gesamtbewertung: siehe nicht gefallen. Verschreckt wurden wir durch die Lärmbelästigung (nur) während der Nacht, die in 10-20 minütigen Abständen erfolgten Lärmereignisse, die nach unserer Einschätzung durch eine Wäscherei verursacht wurden. Anstelle von erholsamen Schlaf erlebten wir Folter durch Schlafentzug. Das Gebäude war eine eingerüstete und nicht einladende Bauruine, kaum als Hotel erkenn- und auffindbar (siehe Foto). Die Fotos im Angebot entsprachen nicht der Realität.

Disponibilă, ne-a făcut check-in ul mai repede,deși nu l-am cerut.Foarte aproape de gara,centru.Casa veche,dar neașteptat de ok în interior.Fara miros de vechi...chiar ok.In exterior în renovare,dar nu strica interiorul cu fresce vechi,marmura veche dar totul bine întreținut.Aer condiționat,baie privata cu apa cu presiune bună,am înțeles ca ar fi pb la unele locații.

• 4 (9/5): Άνετη διαμονή στο κέντρο της πόλης δίπλα σε όλα! - Το κατάλυμα βρίσκεται λιγότερο από 10' από το σιδηροδρομικό Σταθμό του Παλέρμο και 15' από τον Καθεδρικό. Η Άννα ήταν υπέροχη οικοδέσποινα και με κατατοπισε πλήρως, δεν μιλούσε αγγλικά αλλά συνεννοηθήκαμε μια χαρά. Στη συνέχεια η επικοινωνία γινόταν μέσω what's up. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ ευρύχωρο, ουσιαστικά αποτελούταν από δύο μέρη, κρεβατοκάμαρα και κουζίνα. Είχε όλα τα απαραίτητα, μεγάλο κρεβάτι, συρτάρια, έπιπλο για να κρεμάσεις ρούχα και παπούτσια και κουζινικα. Το μπάνιο ήταν επίσης άνετο. Υπήρχε επίσης στο κατάλυμα κοινόχρηστη κουζίνα με τσάι και διαθέσιμο καφέ. Το βράδυ υπήρχε θόρυβος από το δρόμο αλλά σε λογικά επίπεδα. Η πολυκατοικία ήταν όμως υπό ανακαίνιση με αποτέλεσμα κάθε πρωί να ακούγονται τρυπάνια κάτι που δε βοήθησε στο να ξεκουραστώ αρκετά κάποιες μέρες που δεν ξυπνούσα πολύ πρωί.

True, the facade is currently being renovated, so it can be noisy, in addition, my window faced the facade, so it was impossible to open it. Large comfortable room. My bathroom was outside the room, but this did not cause discomfort. The bathroom itself is comfortable and clean, good shower gel. The only thing is that if you want to cook something in the kitchen, it is unlikely to work, because the stove does not work very well. everything else is great. There is a kettle, coffee maker, dishes. The apartments have a very atmospheric common dining area, immersing you in the past century. Very nice. It would also be good if the owners spoke at least a little English

• Pablo (10/5): Alojamiento en el que podría quedarme a vivir - La habitación es preciosa, está limpia, tiene aire acondicionado, la cama es cómoda, tiene un balcón con pinzas para tender la ropa, y encima en una ubicación excelente para salir por el centro de Palermo y a 5 minutos de la estación de tren y bus. Además, la casa tiene un salón y una cocina común totalmente equipada.

• Yang (8/5): Very good - 1. Close to central station, easy access to airport bus and train. 2. Located on the famous tourist street via maqueda, 10 mins walk to the central touristic area. 3. Friendly staff presentation during check-in and check-out. Even though she did not speak English, she was using voice translation app with full experience. 1. The building is probably 200+years old, and as of early June 2025, there was renovation of outside wall. We walked up and down 3 times to find the doorway. And with the renovation, strong noise early in the morning. 2. The door is thin, we didn't really have noisy neighbors but I heard them still well. 3. There is probably one or more room with bathroom outside ( which unfortunately is just beside of our bedroom), so night toilet, late and early shower noise interrupted our rest somehow. 4. After 3 days in palermo, I find this facility is a little too south on via maqueda.
• Renato (10/5): Pleasant and comfortable - Excellent location in relation to the central train and bus station, historical center, markets, and tourist attractions. Very kind and helpful host. Spacious rooms and bathroom. The street is noisy late into the night and early in the morning, which is normal for most Italian cities. So if you are a light sleeper, know that you won't get much rest here. But, you're in Palermo, right? 🙂
• Alexander (8/5): Awesome hostel, Awesome receptionist - The entrance had a clear button to enter, very friendly/welcoming/helpful staff, nice/spacious room, balcony (which happened to have some construction at the moment, but would be great when construction is complete, clean room, useful amenities, and great location right on one of the main streets of Palermo. The only thing that was a little annoying was having an external (but private) bathroom that you had to leave your room to go to in the middle of the night, and the bathroom lock was very finicky and needed to be locked just right to stay closed.

• Nicolas (9/5): Amazing host, very clean place and excelent location - Everything was very tidy and clean. You even had some coffee capsules for your morning breaky. Location is amazing, very near to almost every to do in Palermo plus very close to the train station. You can just walk everywhere. As the neighbourhood, you’ll feel a little bit scared because it looks a bit dodgy but don’t worry it’s totally safe. Tony and the lady were super friendly and kind. Very nice people. Dodgy area and a bit noisy in the morning. Shower was a bit difficult to set.

• Schiedt (8/5): Very good - The place was very clean and while being in the heart of the city quite and calm. The AC worked wonderful and made sure for a good night sleep. All in all great value and fantastic location. The WiFi did not reach our room but that is nothing to bad.

Not able to flush any toilet paper (due to the old age of building). AC controlled by room key (not able to turn it up or down). Beds were a little lumpy. However the building is kept up with nicely, blending old charm with some modern.

• Janka (10/5): Comfortable, clean place with nice decorations. - Excellent place, I'm sorry we only stayed for one night! It's very close to the Central Train station in Palermo, so if you arrive by train or take the airport bus, it's ideal. Getting there was easy, and we just had to ring the bell at the main entrance, then go up to the first floor. The host was very kind and helpful, he explained everything in detail. The whole apartment is very clean and equipped with everything you might need. There's several rooms in the apartment, so you might be staying with other people, but our neighbors were very quiet, we barely noticed them. Our bathroom was in the end of a short corridor, separately from the room itself, but that was not an inconvenience. The common kitchen area is well equipped, we could make tea and coffee there. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the old-timey ambiance of the place, especially the antique furniture pieces and the old wall decorations. The house is an old building: it's clean and in great condition on the inside, but from the outside it's currently in scaffoldings, undergoing some renovation. However, that caused no disturbance to us. If we ever return to Palermo, we'll consider booking here again. Everything was great.
• Monika (8/5): Very good - The location is great. Close to center and train station. Room is big with available coffe machine in the apartment. We had some problems with finding the entrance to the hotel but owners are very helpful and replied fast with support. We could also check in earlier. Apartment is in a noise street but it is at the same moment a plus because of localisation.

• Petra (9/5): Great location, nice owners - Great location, few min walking from Palermo centrale. Building is in one the main streets, felt safe at night. Our room had also a small kitchen and a balcony :) owners were very helpful with recommendations. Our plane arrived late at night, but they had a possibility of late check in. Bedroom had a small window, but since it was connected to kitchen which had balcony, we didn’t mind it. You can hear a bit of the noise in the morning, but that’s just the way it is in the old buildings :)

• James (3/5): Hosts very welcoming but lot of youths loitering around doorway didn't feel comfortable going back - Although in need of repair a nice historic building with lots of potential I didn't sleep for most of night due to constant water and hissing noises,also the fact there was no fresh air option in room. Host noted same so hopefully will improve
• Zvirgzds (10/5): It has been excellent! - I booked the room in last moment and had to arrive late at night, the staff were very helpful and organised handling over the keys using the locked box typical for many rentals across the world. There is nothing I could describe in negative terms. The location is very central, on Via Maqueda, at times it could get noisy, but hey, it is Palermo and it didn't disturb me albeit I had a lot of work to do online.

Lovely old decorations on the ceilings and tiles. You really get to breath in a historical authentic Sicilian apartment/flat that is at least a century old by all means. Cost/Performance is perfect. We couldn’t sleep till midnight because of the noises from outside also weird noises possibly water pipes.Because of the lack of shower curtain , the bathroom floaded.

• Jake (9/5): Comfortable large room in a great location. Good value - Great multicultural area of town with restaurants offering a variety of food. Via Marqueda is a busy street that offers a lot to tourists. Very kind host, who provided coffee and had good communication. We recommend HAMA restaurant around the corner for African food. It is a bit noisy at night, even on weeknights. I wish it wasn't a little more soundproofed perhaps. We understand that street noise is out of the hosts control though.

But other guests need to know what they can expect. humidity smell in bath reaching to bedroom. No Window in bedroom. Balcony in second room: smell from Indian fast food restaurant (frying) ... Chicken being raised raised on balcony across the street (view from balcony) - maybe for the restaurant below.
• Alev (4/5): Disappointing - Location is so good. It was under renovation when we went. And the window of the room was closed from the outside. It was very claustrophobic. The bathroom was outside the room. And the bathroom was very small. If you want to reach the bathroom you have to go through the entrance area and there was a camera. It's very bad for privacy. For privacy reasons, if you want to go with your clothes, the bathroom is too small to undress. You have to pass through the camera with a towel for shower.

• Harry (9/5): Superb - Cool apartment with a responsive host 5 mins from central station on Via Maqueda. Ticked all the boxes for us.

• Stanislaw (9/5): Superb - great location for one night before flight back (or after flying in). very close to main city attractions and the train station. it's located in very much alive neighborhood, so you can expect some noises from the streat. either there was no heating in the room, or I couldn't find it. the AC was not reacting

• Heidi (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful apartment. Very friendly hosts. Very close to train/ bus station. Walking distance to a lot a attractions. Would most definitely stay again. At present they are fixing facade so has a little scaffolding in front. Was a little off putting on arrival but once inside you immediately got over it. Please don't let it put you off staying here because it is a fabulous old style apartment.

• Alisha (1/5): Bad - nothing DO NOT STAY HERE!!! From the smell and damp walls the property clearly has mold, and a lot of dust which is unsafe. The area is so loud you cannot sleep because the window in the bedroom does not properly close it has a huge gap when locked (photo attached). The bathroom door does not lock properly. Bathroom has no toiletries. The building works outside leave the property very dark it is misleading to not advertise this. The third bed in the room is barely a sofa bed and not fit to sleep on. The photos we sent booking.com clearly show the property was not properly advertised but they refuse to do anything. I would advise booking.com to check the authenticity of the reviews of the property as it is clearly not 9.1 as advertised in the property.
• Rafał (9/5): Wonderful! - It is very close to the city centre and railway station, located in a beautiful old building - we admired the interior a lot! Well equipped kitchen: possibility to prepare coffee and tea. It was quiet. Very modern bathroom with shower kit. We could leave the luggage after check out. We were under impression of very detailed check in hints including films of each stage. Can't find any disadvantages.
• Amanda (4/5): the owner charged us 8€ for the taxes which they are already payed through Boking - The ower charged us extra for the city tax, 8€ ! Which i had already payed when i payed through booking for 2 nights! The bathroom wasn’t inside the room, and it wasn’t written she told me that i have another bathroom because there wasn’t one inside the room when i was there. The breakfast was very poor.
• Sofie (7/5): Good for one night - It was a really good reception, they were very kind. The B&B is located in a beautiful old Italian house. The location is also very good: near by the train and busstation, but also very near by the center. We didnt hear any noise during the night. For one night it's really okay because of the location and the kindness of the host. But in the room we stayed, there was always a smell of drainaged and no natural light.
