• sergey (6/5): Big apartment in the centre, but with downsides. - Perfect location. Quiet area with no traffic noise. Elevator. Biga spacious. Dated facilities, mold in the bathroom, old thin pillows. In the big bedroom was not possible to darken the roof windows - the curtains did not cover them. I have been coughing during all the stay - possibly because of allergy to the dust/mold. Although is located in the centre, I would not stay here second time.

• Silvija (2/5): Not recomend anyone - Only good lication I regret choosing this apartment. There is mold in the shower and a terrible smell coming from it, and there were some random laundry items hanging there as well. There was no hot water, so it was impossible to properly wash. The rooms smell strange, almost like cigarette smoke. In one of the bedrooms the window is broken, and cold air comes through it. The bed linen had hairs on it and a strange smell — we suspect it was not changed. The dishes were dirty and had to be washed before use. There are many broken pieces of furniture that are still left “in use.” The door does not unlock properly and something seems to be stuck. The apartment clearly needs renovation and is not worth even the €80 we paid.

The stay was comfortable, with warm rooms and a well-equipped kitchen that had everything we needed. The bathroom could have been cleaner, and clearer instructions — ideally with pictures — on how to find the place and access the key would be helpful.

• Jovan (3/5): Nice location, barely passable for few days but do not recommend - Location was great, check in check out very easy with keylock. Spacious and hammok for relaxing Mold, smell in bathroom. Bathroom has windows but cannot be opened. Upon arrival we got dry towels that were smelling very bad and whole set of towels and linien on drying rack inside of bathroom to make even more humidity. Towels were put on rack half folded thus not suprised of smell. Appartment is in quite bad shape, bathroom needs urgent reconstruction.
• Laura (7/5): - The location is perfect - right in the city center. The apartment is very big and bright, it would need some renovation and it is not super clean, but good enough for a short stay. The host is responsive and solved an issue that we had with hot water quickly. An apartment would need some renovation - you can see that it is old and there is some mold in the bathroom. Nothing horrible, but to consider for the future.

• Helena (8/5): Almost perfect, but unfortunately has black mold in bathroom - Ideal location, very central. The host is helpful and communicative. Instructions to find the key box were clear. Apartment is very big, has kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms and living room. So much space and is decorated nicely. We liked almost everything about the apartment. The only issue was mold in the bathroom shower area. For people with mold allergy you could not take a shower. But this was the only downside of the apartment so if mold doesn't bother you, I would still recommend this stay

Hamack is a really nice touch I was really torn if I should write an honest review because the host was nice, easier to get hold of and responsive. Also, the property was quite cheap and really spacious. However, my stay wasn’t very comfortable and I want to be honest so other travellers can make an informed decision. So, the good: Responsive pleasant host Good location Large space that 4 people can stay at good price The bad: Place is mouldy(the bathroom looks really dirty and mould is coming from the ceiling) Only one bed had decent bedding, the two small ones had really poor worn out bedding and pillows, one of the beds faintly smell of urine Sour smelling towels Lack of supplies( no shower gel or shampoo, no coffee, only one roll of toilet for 3people for 3days, 2 mugs only and the rest is glasses,etc. ) All in all, it is
• Uldis (1/5): BAD! - 1hour before they ask 40eur for cleaning, later after send info from booking, that we pay for cleaning in booking time - this money was returned and 10 days after that was asking 55eur for chair damaging :D Nothing was damaged. Looks more like big scam!
• Lineta (9/5): Great stay in the heart of Riga - The apartment was huge and spacious. It was a bit difficult to find the key left outside the staircase, but it was not a problem, more than fun. Warm and bright apartment with an interesting interior. It could be more kitchen utilities like plates, glasses for water or wine, and cups in the apartment.

WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOFT AT ALL (AT LEAST WHILE RENOVATION WILL NOT BE DONE!). We have made a formal complaint about this loft. The property wasn't as described or expected from the owner photos of the property. 1.In the property I fitted gas boiler with open fire (very old model) and no carbon monoxide detector. In Latvia is just recommendation to have it.We think for yourself use property this is up to you but when you let your property it should be fixed as carbon monoxide gas is very dangerous. 2.All celling and walls are black from open fire. 3.All cupboards in the toilet and kitchen had paint peeling.When you touch some handles, they feel oily.Some cups are dirty from previous occupants.Drawers are broken. Sink in the toilet is chipped. 4.Wall fan fallen from the wall in the kitchen. 5.No basic stuff:tea, coffee, sugar on arrival.we have checked in at 11pm when all the shops are close and we didn't have a chance to have a hot drink. 6.towels - they are very hard and look like a floor mop. 7.In the lounge and bedroom cupboards, a lot of landlords rubbish, which makes you feel like you are in the big skip.Also, old TV discarded.some stuff is very dangerous if people stay with kids.Also, in the living room in the wall located, broken box with unsecured wireless. 8.In the bedroom celling wallpaper lifting from roof leaks. Bed mattress is very hard, unable to sleep at all.Bedding is very old. 9.The second bedroom beds with very old, marked (dirty) mattresses. 10.Shower and bath with black mold. We didn't stay even 24 hrs - booked a new hotel. Probably owner reply on my post "this review was a retaliation", but this is MOST WELL DESCRIBED FEEDBACK

• Liga (4/5): Not so romantic ice box - The location was great! The underfloor heating in the bathroom was nice. It was easy to check in and check out, all we had to do was to collect the key from the box outside the building. The owner is responsive. The place was extremely cold. The water in the shower was barely warm and even though they had a bath, it would have been impossible to use it due to the water temperature (unless one likes cold baths). The heater in the master bedroom wasn't working, luckily we were provided with two electric heaters. That made our stay bearable. The fireplace is just there to look at (no fire allowed). It's probably better in the summertime. We were reminded one day beforehand about the check out time (it's also written on the door) which made us feel like the owner can't wait for us to get out.

• Stener (2/5): Very nasty apartment, mold, dirty. - We had booked this apartment for 5 nights, but we left after one night. Mold in the shower, nasty beds, Dirty carpets etc. No working smoke detector, We complained to the host about this immediately, but no answer. Faint smell of urine, that was tried hidden with very heavy perfume. Only positive we can say is that it has a good location. We will NOT be back.

Good kitchen with fridge, microwave oven, a filter coffe brewer, and a water boiler. Plenty of power outlets. Plenty of space for us two persons. Four persons would still be plently of space. Read instruction for key pickup carefully, a bit complex. Close to the city center and bus stop outside. Nice café with breakfast around corner.

Host advised he will ask his colleague to bring some wood the next day, but noone actually came. - You will be asked to make a returnable deposit of 40 EUR - Parking is expensive in this part of the city.

• Saulius (7/5): Good - Perfect location, walking distance to the oldtown, canal and other parks. Underground parking is only 300 meters away and not expensive, quite are. Pets are allowed, thanks for that ! Property looks much better in the pictures as it really is. All equipment in the kitchen are quite old and in too small numbers. E.g. apartment is for 6 people, however only four forks and five chairs, all from different sets.

After paying for our booking, got to know about extra fees: extra cleaning (one was allready inwolved to the booking price) and extra depozite, that was mensioned somewhere in covid info and nobody was going to return them back, saying "tomorrow and etc... The owner of apartment, writting tones of messages. Andddd the cleanliness of the appartment was terrible: smelly bath, mold everywhere, untidy hammock, loots smelly towels drying in bath. Bath door lock was broken, so got stuck in here. Signs like "your mon does not work here, wash your dishes" ant etc hanging in the kitchen.

• Bohdana (1/5): Bad - Location. This accommodation was a complete disaster, totally overpriced. There were 6 of us, so we also used the couch for sleeping, which was absolutely uncomfortable, old and worn out. it was terribly cold in the whole apartment, the windows let in air, we had to sleep in thermal underwear and sweaters . We agreed with the host that we would come to leave our things at the accommodation earlier around 2pm, when we entered there was a cleaner there who told us that he had finished cleaning and we could enter. there was dirt and scattered chips all over the floor and couch, when we pointed it out to him he said it was okay and scooped up a piece of chips under the mat with his shoe. then we contacted the host that there was dirt everywhere, who then sent a cleaner to finish the cleaning, which didn't help much. The bathroom is a separate chapter, there is mold everywhere, so we weren't even able to take a shower because it was disgusting. we wanted to put some things in the cupboard in the living room, which was completely cluttered with the property owner's belongings.

The apartment is big, and it has a lot of useful things, like hair dryer, iron, microwave and coffee maker. I would definitely recommend it to everyone coming to the beautiful capital of Latvia.

• Julia (7/5): Good - The apartment has a very good location. The heart of the city is a five-minute walk through the park. At the same time, the apartment is located in the courtyard in silence. There is a beautiful view from the windows. The apartment had all the necessary utensils. The rooms are big. The floor is clean. The apartment has terrible towels, pillows, bed linen. The towels smell very bad. Bed linen is all different, a little torn, there is no feeling of cleanliness. Pillows are old, turned into lumps. The glasses and plates in the cupboard were dirty. All washed before use. There is no tea, coffee, salt, sugar, paper napkins in the kitchen. No dishwasher. When confirming the reservation, the owner sent information that the check-in time is 16 and the check-out time is 12. When we already lived one day in the apartment, the owner sent information that the check-out time is 11.
