• Jacque L (10/5): - Albergo Ristorante Della Torre is one of the best places I have ever stayed (and I travel a lot). It has the basics you need, quiet rooms, and WONDERFUL staff. The restaurant was usually packed, especially on the weekends. We stayed for a long trip - this was “home base” for us as we travelled to other cities. By the end of our two weeks we (my mother and I) decided that we will always come back to Della Torre to stay at least a couple nights in the future. The view is gorgeous, beds comfy, and I just can’t gush enough about the staff. They were always SO helpful, and caring and so wonderful. The food was beyond amazing (we travelled to other cities in Italy and kept talking about how we missed the food here). We will 100% be booking another trip to come back and stay here.

• Virginia (6/5): - The room visit was excellent, the service and cleanliness were excellent, but if you don't have transportation, it's very difficult to get a taxi, and the taxi is very expensive. Just to get to the hotel, it's about a 5-minute drive and you'll pay about $60. You can walk if you like, it's about 20 minutes. The descent is fine, but the climb will be very tiring.

• frederic (6/5): - Everything was great until we realized it was not the room we reserved. The room was half the size. The next morning they were cleaning the one room we reserved and paid for. We told the morning manager but she didn’t seem to care much and blamed an electronic glitch. Out of all the places we reserved , it was the only one we had an issue with. The staff was very friendly but the manager was not very friendly. About parking, good luck. The staff parks at the free spots and the manager tells you to go park in paying car park and tells you to wake up for 8 am and go pay….i am more annoyed paying extras for the large room and seeing someone else got it. Small hotel so you reserve and pay for the actual room you reserve. I wish they refunded me a portion for the inconvenience because some paid less and got our large room.
• Ross (10/5): Charming small hotel - This was a charming little hotel. Staff weee very helpful. Room was a bit small but nice enough. The ability to open the window was very nice. Breakfast was really good - had the best cappuccino ever!

The people where super friendly and nice. Bathroom was a bit small, and noises from the restaurant and fireworks in a neighboring city where present. From 1:30 quiet as can be.

• Francisco J (10/5): Uma bela vista e um restaurante delicioso! - Adoramos o hotel! A vista é maravilhosa. O quarto tem um bom tamanho e o encontramos sempre limpo e com trocas das toalhas. O café da manhã é suficiente sendo que o café é feito na hora! Delicioso! Os funcionários são educados e atenciosos e nos ajudaram com várias informações. Tem "parcheggio" (estacionamento) com faixa branca na praça da igreja ao lado. A quem interessar, não tem elevador, mas a escada é tranquila. Indicamos a estadia!

Room and bathroom were on the smaller side, but clean. Be aware that this place is up on the hill, so the roads are a bit narrow and curvy, and parking can be a bit of a hunt.

• Matthew (10/5): - This property should be 4* at a minimum. Fabulous location overlooking Lake Como with stunning views, nestled away in the hill side of Cernobbio. The room was a great size. Bedside lighting which provides for a cosy retreat in the evening. Bathroom was perfect and great shower. I really couldn’t ask for more. I dined in the restaurant below in the evening and had some authentic, delicious food, served by incredibly hospitable waiters. Breakfast in the morning had a range of pastries , fresh yogurt, cereal and fruits. The lady at breakfast was pleasant and friendly- such exceptional service. I have made myself a promise to bring my family to Lake Come one day and will certainly be booking this incredible hotel. To the staff and all involved with the restaurant and hotel, thank you for the wonderful experience.

• Fabian (8/5): Ottima fuga romantica con mia moglie - Per essere un hotel a 1 stella la camera è veramente carina con il suo bagno ben pulito e direi insonorizzato molto bene. Unica cosa che cambierei la porta della camera un po' inversata.Il letto molto comodo un po' meno il cuscino però per quello è un po' soggettivo perché soffro di cervicale, se avevo qualche anno in meno sarebbe andato bene,Invece la colazione direi veramente ottima e completa con materie prime di ottima scelta.

O pessoal é muitíssimo prestativo, todos falam inglês, se comunicar é muito fácil. O local é explendoroso, muito romântico e cheio de charme. As instalações são muito bem adequadas. O café da manhã é gostoso e a vista é de tirar o fôlego. Parabéns a equipe que trabalha neste local. São todos muito comprometidos com a excelência do atendimento e experiência da sua clientela. Voltaria inúmeras vezes se resídisse no país.

Nos dijeron que eso era porque estabamos mucha gente duchándonos a la vez. Yo creo que deberían solucionar esto, ya que lo demás fue todo perfecto y fue una pena que nos quedara esa sensación.

• Jesse (10/5): - We had such an amazing stay! We were in room 10, which has a perfect view of lake como. The rooms are simple but they have everything you could need. The walk to the property from the main bus stop in Cernobbio is no joke with a suitcase. It is a hard walk but it is so worth it! Or maybe worth getting a taxi from town! The restaurant downstairs is incredible! The food and service was perfect. We felt so welcomed and taken care of.

Private badeværelse er 10 m fra værelset og der var over 40 grader på badeværelset uden klima. Fremmed hår i sengetøjet. Perfekt udsigt fra restaurant Aftensmad under middel og dyrt. Morgenmad fint.

Das Hotel liegt weit oben, weshalb man im Hotel Restaurant eine schöne Sicht auf die Landschaft, bestehend aus Stadt, Bergen und dem Como See, hat. Das Hotel liegt, jedoch weit oben, weshalb man sich gut endscheiden sollte, ob man den Weg hoch laufen möchte. Für fitte Leute wäre das natürlich kein Problem. Das Frühstück hat keine große Auswahl.

Mit dem Auto runter zum See ist auch keine gute Idee, es gibt keine Parkplätze, die wenigen waren alle besetzt und das Anfang Mai! Wir haben im Restaurant gegessen. Das Essen ist gut, nur komme ich mir verschaukelt vor, wenn meine Lammkoteletts hauchdünn sind und die am Nebentisch 3 mal so dick. Wir sind am nächsten Tag abgereist.

• Hardeep (4/5): - Lake Como is not designed to handle as many people that are there. It's packed, not peaceful and Italy has generally a very large population density so it's not a calm place. I found Italian men to be arrogant, rude and slightly racist. This property was not suitable for my needs, I paid for it and never used it and instead checked in to another hotel. The room was small, there a stale smell, the noise from the downstairs restaurant travelled upstairs and the male waiters were very rude to me... So I left, paid them and never used the accommodation. Shame because I think the 2 ladies there had a nice energy and they don't look happy stuck there with the some of the men they probably have to work with. The mountain roads are stressful to drive around with hair pin turns - however the location is excellent. All in all, I would never go back to Italy.

• Mario (10/5): Ottimo hotel sul Lago di Como - Hotel sopra Cernobbio, facilmente raggiungibile e con parcheggio pubblico coperto proprio sotto. Stanza essenziale, ma pulita e giustamente confortevole. Buona colazione con vista molto bella e personale gentile e molto disponibile. Prezzo concorrenziale ed ottimo anche il ristorante dove abbiamo anche cenato. Sicuramente un posto in cui tornare trovandosi in zona.

Disponibile, nonostante l'orario, ci ha dato la possibilità di poter cenare. L'ottima pizza, la colazione abbondante e la professionalità del personale, abbinate ad una splendida vista sul Lago di Como, hanno reso il nostro soggiorno molto confortevole. Parcheggio coperto e bella struttura. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie di tutto!

L’albergo e la sala da pranzo, allestiti in modo ineccepibile, in ogni dettaglio, per creare la giusta atmosfera natalizia. Le camere sono piccole ma essenziali: non manca niente e sono pulitissime. Due to a very popular restaurant below, the room is very noisy and only past midnight it becomes a bit more quiet. Stunning location and a beautiful walk to the lake, using hidden little charming staircases.

• Julio (8/5): Convenient stay on lake como - Nice location in cernobbio, convenient since we had a car and we were able to find free parking spots nearby. The hotel’s restaurant is good for dining and one can get a table with a view if lucky, but the breakfast -taking place in the same restaurant- is a bit basic. The staff was not really welcoming and our room was specifically small (we were barely able to open our carry on). I think we could have deserved to be given a larger room since we noticed the rooms next to us were free during our stay. Overall the price/value is aligned with what one can find and pay on lake como.

Our washroom and shower was in the hallway and that made us uncomfortable to go the washroom in the middle of nights. I didn’t see any amines.

• Barry (10/5): Great small hotel with excellent restaurant. - Good hotel situated above the town, quite an easy walk if one is reasonably fit. Don't let the one star put you off. The restaurant is superb. I would suggest booking before you arrive as it is very popular with the locals, and rightly so. We will definitely be staying there again.

Not many tourists in the restaurant at night. Breakfast not spectacular, but more than coffee and a cornetto. A/C in the room worked well. Local free and paid parking in the area.
