• Cornell (10/5): - Really friendly host. Very clean and comfortable. Nothing. Everything was good.
• Maccabe (9/5): Great times on the slopes - Lovely apartment! - We were just 2 people but would have slept 4 easily. The area - Jovenceaux - is very convenient for the ski lift but quite a stiff 18 min hike uphill to the main village center. There is only one restaurant and one bar in Jovenceaux. I did know this when booking and it is reflected in it being cheaper than the places in middle of the village - so cannot complain.

• Gareth (10/5): A lovely, peaceful apartment in the lower part of Sauze d'Oulx - The host was incredibly helpful but also left us to our own devices, and the apartment was really well supplied with everything you need for a self-catering holiday. It was also quiet, and my preference is to avoid aprés-ski. There is a ski lift less than 100m from the apartment which is fitted for return trips - essential when the ski runs on the lower pistes are closed. Jouvenceaux, the location of Casa Vacanze Elisa on the lower slopes of Sauze d'Oulx, has been carefully renovated, highlighting the built heritage of the area but the facilities - restaurants and shops, haven't kept pace. This means that it's an 18 minute ascent along the main road up to the supermarket for supplies. The shuttle bus, which isn't covered by a lift pass, runs every half hour but stops at 5pm. We got round this issue by ensuring we'd finished skiing in time to change out of ski wear to catch the last bus up to the town centre.

Pomanjkanje naravne svetlobe, nas apartma je bil spodaj, obrnjem h glavni ulici, kjer je ves dan temacno in smo morali imeti prižgane luci skozi ves dan.
• bertrand (9/5): très bien, nous reviendrons - la gentillesse et la disponibilité de notre hôte le gite dans son ensemble et sa localisation manque de matériel pour cuisiner, nécessiter d'anticiper en apportant son propre matériel manque un four classique
• Bas (9/5): Zeer gastvrije verhuurder. En behulpzaam! - Wij, een Nederlandse familie met 2 adolescenten, hadden een topweek bij Elise en dit skigebied. Helaas hadden we ook wat tegenvallers, waaronder pech met de auto op de heenweg en een achtergelaten volle rugzak na vertrek. Bij beide incidenten bood Elise direct hulp. Ze gaf ons zelfs een lift naar de supermarkt vlak na aankomst. Zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam, toen we dat ook nodig hadden. Niets viel eigenlijk tegen. Let wel op dat je bij deze woning ongeveer 1,5 km uit het centrum zit. Dat is lopend in 25min, wel bergopwaarts, te doen. Maar voor het halen van boodschappen is een auto wel handig. Aan de andere kant betekend de ligging ook dat het er erg rustig is. En dat is ook fijn.
• Jeroen (8/5): We hebben een hele fijne tijd gehad in Casa Vacanze Elisa in het mooie Jouvenceaux. - De locatie is geweldig en de ontvangst erg goed. Het huis is comfortabel, compleet uitgerust en snel warm. De omgeving van de woning is erg mooi, Jouvenceaux is een heel mooi deel van Sauze d'Oulx. Er was een mooi uitzicht vanuit het appartement. Goede faciliteiten in de buurt. Ik vind het appartement aan de kleine kant voor 5 volwassen personen. Ik had gedacht dat het groter zou zijn, gebaseerd op de fotos.
• Beata (9/5): - Elisa is very good and flexible host, property was clean and very well equipped. Rooms was big enough. Apartment was warm and cosy. Even if not very modern but still good. Location is bit boring, 1 restaurant, 1 bar good 30min walk under steep hill to rich Sauze d'Oulx. Parking spaces are limited, 4 apartments 1 car per apartment only. We had 6 person apartment, for two families and one car had to be park 5min walk away on public parking.

• Zuzanna (10/5): - Elisa is a fantastic host. If you need anything she will make sure to assist you in the best possible way. Casa Vacanze Elisa is 2 minutes away from a ski lift which makes the whole ski experience much easier.
• Sauman (10/5): - The apartment was very homely and comfortable and it's so close to the chairlift. The photos do not do the place justice. It's so much better in real life! Our family had a very nice stay. The host is such a nice lady and looked after us very well. So thank you so much. It's a bit of a hike to the town so it would have been better if we had a car.

Beds were comfy and kitchen easy to use. Elisa is so welcoming and was always at hand to help! Shower cubicle could be slightly bigger.

• Marcel (7/5): All in all a positive experience with some minor drawbacks - Authentic area with small streets and old houses. A short walk to the Joveneaux lift and an excellent nearby restaurant No nearby shops for groceries or bread. The steep walk to the city center was strenuous.

Good shops and facilities in the main village. As expected a fair distance and steep walk to the main village, but a short drive if you prefer.

• Benjamin (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable, warm and clean apartment very close to the Jouvenceaux fast chairlift. Elisa is super helpful and friendly. Secure ski locker and off street parking. Good ski rental nearby. Everything was great!
• Claus (9/5): Excelent stay in a authentic italian surroundings. - Excelent host and service. Nice authentic appartment in the middle of an old village and still very close to the lift. We lived in Jouvenceaux just below Sauze. Nice and quiete opposed to the more livelelyness and street music in Sauze. Our apparten where a 4+2 bed appartment. It worked fine for us. However since we where only travelling three persons we would have prefered a cosy sofa in the livingroom opposed to the sofabed with limited seating comfort. Nearest shopping is in Sauze a 1km uphill walk. But a great workout :-)
• Adam (9/5): Superb - located very near ski lift and ski shop. it is an extremely clean and spacious property with the host being very helpful throughout no supermarket is near the property and there are not many places to eat near. The main town of Sauze d’oulz is about 25 minutes up a steep hill from the property which is where the next set of restaurants are.

• Harvey (7/5): Nice, cosy, alpine apartment just 2 minutes from the Jouvenceaux ski lift - The location of our apartment was great, literally a 1 or 2 minute walk up the road to the Jouvenceaux ski lift. The size of the apartment was perfect for the 2 of us, we had plenty of space. Elise drove us to Carrefour the night we arrived so we could grab some bits after our travel nightmare, which was really kind and helpful! There could have been more appliances/tools, for example providing salt, pepper, oil, tea + coffee so that we didn't have to buy loads of stuff for a short stay. The host could've been a bit more informative - we weren't told how to turn the gas hob on... A booklet with information like this and about Sauze would've been really helpful (bus times, shop times, best places to eat, ski map, etc). Some decorative aspects of the apartment could do with updating, such as changing the light bulbs (they were bright and harsh). Also, little things like putting a chocolate on the pillow or having milk in the fridge upon arrival would elevate the guest experience, although not completely necessary.
