It is an historic property which has been lovingly restored by the host who has done amazing work. It is beautiful to look at and wonderfully comfortable to live in. The apartment is fully furnished including a fully outfitted kitchen. Nothing was lacking. We were walking the Parenzana trail and the town of Visnjan made an excellent stop. The pizzeria in town made wood fired pizzas with excellent topping combinations. Don’t miss out on staying in this apartment or visiting this quaint town. Nothing

- Adrijana (10/5): - Apartman je nedavno renoviran i predivan je. Uredeno je sa stilom i detaljima. Domacin je sam izradivao dio namjestaja te je isti unikatan. Sve je bilo cisto i uredno. Lokacija je predivna, u samom centru grada kraj crkve. Domacin je bio jako ljubazan, ponudio nas je domacim vinom te smo lijepo popricali. Sve nam se jako svidjelo te preporucamo ovaj smjestaj za lijep i miran odmor. Nema zamjerki, sve je bilo super.

Very nice host. The only big disappointment was that we did not get the fantastic breakfast as expected. As it came out on site, we should have requested it in advance. There is no proper breakfast place in the village, but shop, bakery and coffee house separately, to prepare your breakfast yourself.

L'appartamento era nuovo, ben rifinito, arredato con cura e pieno di tutti i comfort (inverter, bollitore, tastiera, lavastoviglie etc). Situato vicino alla piazza principale di di visignano con possibilità di parcheggio nelle vicinanze. Nulla, va bene cosi

Den Sonnenuntergang kann man von hier fantastisch beobachten. Ein kleiner Holzofen sorgte für Wärme und eine sehr gemütliche Atmosphäre. Leider gab es wegen der Nebensaison kein Frühstück

Die Wohnung liegt etwas außerhalb von Porec und ist mit dem Auto in ca. 15 Minuten zu erreichen. Es gibt zwei kleine Supermärkte mit stolzen Preisen. Ebenfalls eine einheimische Bäckerei und eine Pizzeria die zu empfehlen ist. nichts------

Domaćin je izuzetno srdačan i ugodan za komunikaciju, što cijelo iskustvo čini bezbrižnim od početka do kraja. Apartman je besprijekorno čist, prekrasno uređen i promišljeno opremljen, s velikom pažnjom posvećenom detaljima. Ručnici i posteljina su čisti i svježi, savršeno ispeglani, a pokrivači topli i udobni – upravo ono što nam je trebalo tijekom kišne jesenske noći kakvu smo imali. Lokacija je idealna za istraživanje okolice, a posebno nam se sviđa miran šarm Višnjana, s tradicionalnim restoranom, pizzerijom, pekarom, kafićem i supermarketima na samo nekoliko minuta hoda. Besplatan parking nalazi se odmah pored kuće, na prekrasnom obližnjem trgu. Ovdje smo se zaista osjećali kao kod kuće i želimo se vratiti. Topla preporuka! We loved this charming and very comfortable apartment in Istria, full of character and warmth. The host was incredibly polite, welcoming, and easy to communicate with, making everything effortless from start to finish. The apartment was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped, with great attention to detail throughout. The towels and bedding were crisp, fresh, and neatly ironed, and the covers wonderfully warm and cosy - perfect for a cold, rainy night. The location was ideal for exploring the area, and we loved the peaceful charm of Višnjan with a great traditional restaurant, a pizzeria, bakery, café, and supermarkets all within easy walking distance. We truly felt at home here and would love to return. Highly recommended! Nemamo se na što požaliti. Sve je bilo više od više od naših očekivanja. Hvala gospodine Dragane.

- Nicolas (10/5): - We spent three weeks in Croatia, one of them with Maria and Dragan – and our only regret is not staying with them the whole time. The apartment was beautiful, with a stunning view from our balcony. Maria and Dragan made us feel completely at home: every morning started with a delicious breakfast, and in the evenings we enjoyed lovely conversations together. Their hospitality was truly exceptional – from helpful tips for local activities to making sure we had everything we needed for our baby (crib, high chair, etc.). Maria also surprised us outside of breakfast with thoughtful little treats and snacks, which made us feel even more cared for and showed how much importance they place on genuine hospitality. The apartment itself was perfectly equipped, beautifully decorated with attention to detail, freshly renovated, spotlessly clean, and the beds smelled wonderfully fresh. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. -

The location is also great: it is in the middle of the old center of the village, very cute old street. You can also do some hikes just from the property. By car you can quickly reach nice beaches, coastal towns. Highly recommended!

Hier gibt es einfach nichts zu meckern!!!

Als wir ankamen (Juni 2025) hat uns ein Hund angegriffen, abgesehen davon trafen die Daten und Bilder nicht auf die Anzeihe zu! Für unsere kleine Hündin wurden zusätzliche Kosten verlangt, 50€!!! Das wurde uns jedoch erst zum Schluss gesagt und er verlangte diese NUR in bar. Als wir höflich danach fragten ob wir die Buchung stornieren könnten da uns das Gesamtpaket nicht zu sagte, wurde der Gastgeber extrem unfreundlich und ließ uns stehen! Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, dadurch wurde unser Urlaub unschön abgebrochen und wir sind nach hause gefahren!!

The property was clean, spacious and comfortable in a great setting. There are restaurants and supermarkets close by for any needs and the pizzeria was wonderful. View is great and you are close to Motovun, Porec and other places to visit. There is parking. Lots of stairs if you have luggage to carry up.
- Julie (10/5): Cute, clean, comfortable apartment in an adorable small village - We adored this apartment and the host Dragan. The apartment was very clean and comfortable and we felt right at home. We encountered some bad weather while we were here and stayed at the apartment for the day due to some dicy road conductions. It was comfortable and we actually were thankful if we had to be stuck indoors for a day on our vacation, that we were here! If we come back to the area, we will absolutely stay here again. The host is so kind, thoughtful and looks out for his guests.

Our host welcomed us with refreshments and spent a little time telling us about the area and himself. The inside is beautiful and filled with many authentic pieces. Some of the furniture was crafted by the host out of salvaged wood from the war. Višnjan is a small lovely town and we had many views from the windows and balcony of our apartments. The space was spotlessly clean and beds were comfortable and cozy. Beautiful tiles in the bathrooms. We highly recommend. Also, the location is great for visiting other villages in Istria.

- Karla (9/5): Charming, comfortable and clean apartment in the heart of Visnjan - Excellent location and really cute apartment. It’s in an old traditional stone house, very nicely restored and renovated. Comfortable, super clean and overall a great stay. Very close to a pizzeria, local restaurant and small supermarket and bakery. The small city of Visnjan is super charming and great if you want to stay away from the crowds of tourists. The apartment/house is very close to a church which starts ringing every day at 6am. The apartment is not sound proof (even with windows closed), so you can easily hear it, as well as any neighbours above/below - as the house has a couple of apartments for rental. The bathroom door is a slide door and gets stuck if fully closed, so you can’t really close it if you don’t want to risk getting stuck in there.
- Jadranka (9/5): Excellent stay in Visnjan - The property is charming and very clean. A lot of thought went into fitting it out in the traditional Istrian style. My apartment was very spacious with two bedrooms, a kitchen, lounge/dining and bathroom. The host was very friendly and helpful, He even carried my heavy suitcase to the upstairs apartment and back to the car on my departure. The location, Visnjan is great. Its' a pretty little town itself and also perfect for exploring many nearby towns from Motovun, Groznjan to Porec, Rovinj and beaches, plus more. Free parking is available. The property offers a generous continental breakfast as an additional extra for a fee (payable to the host). I highly recommend this property to anybody. Nothing. A car would be helpful/necessary to explore nearby towns/beaches.

We arrived late and the proprietor waited for us, made us a snack and poured wine in his garden as he regaled us with the history of his town. It was magical. - Kizak (10/5): Exceptional - Where should I start with the superlatives? Everything about this place is spectacular! The Villa itsself is very charming. There is everything you may possibly need for a short or long stay. And if by any chance you miss something, your hosts (Dragan and Maria) will go far and beyond to get it for you. They are the true gem of this place!! We only stayed one night but enjoyed it so much we want to go back. Lovely evening spent with our hosts, chatting with them and other guests from France (hello if you're reading this :), playing games, drinking local wine and eating delicous food Maria kept bringing from her kitchen. Parking around the corner on this historic plaza, so no stress about that either. If you're looking for the "reception", go from the back of the building into the garden. There's not one bad thing I can say about our stay and can highly recommend this place to all the nice people outthere looking for stylish, impecably clean, well equipped rooms with the most wonderful hosts you can wish for!

The village has all shops needed as well (bakery, supermarket, meat shop, restaurants, bar). It's way more quiet and special than staying closer to the beach. The hospitality of the host was a good extra as well.

You can tell they put a lot of thought into it, keeping it true to the local vibe. Everything was so clean and comfy. If you want a real taste of Istria with a great host, this place is a winner. Višnjan itself is an underrated Istrian gem. Two thumbs up! Nothing.
- Ineta (10/5): Charming place in nice village. - Everything was great! The place was really nicely furnished with restored furniture and the hosts were so lovely and sweet. They welcomed us with a drink and a home made strudel that was delicious. And even though the city was small we had no problem communicating with everyone in English. The place was very suitable for our small dog. For us everything was perfect but i guess the place is more suitable for traveling with car.

- Blackford (9/5): Adorable old stone house - The apartment is absolutely adorable, and is on the cutest street in the cutest village. The kitchen was very well equipped (just make sure you bring your own everything - oil, salt and pepper, etc). Tip: close the shutters on the bedroom window to not only help with sunlight, but also help block noise. The church bells are close, loud, and demonstrative. There can also be quite a bit of street noise (I think we were there on garbage day) for such a sweet old street.

- Olena (10/5): Vacation home made with love - It is an old house renovated with great taste and love. There is everything one may need to recharge and relax. There were a lot of real antique items of furniture in a good condition, blended with beautiful modern pieces of interior. This place has a soul, which is not common at all. I had really good sleep starting from the first night. And the host was amazing.

- Tijana (10/5): A perfect, sophisticated hideaway for a relaxing holiday in Istria - Location is fantastic, in the heart of the old town of Visnjan, surrounded by beautiful stone houses, flowers and in close proximity of a beautiful old church and antique town gate. The town has everything you might need for a comfortable stay - a butcher, a baker, two grocery stores, two bars with excellent esporesso and a couple of really good restaurants. The property itself is beautifully and skillfully refurbished by the owner to both respect the heritage and also offer all the modern amenities. It is equipped with absolutely everything you could need during your holiday. The hosts are lovely, warm and welcoming and go out of their way to make guests feel welcome and well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend this hidden gem to anyone looking for a relaxing stay at a great strategic location for exploring the whole of Istria.

Vermieter hat uns noch Nachts nach Ankunft in Pula u. nächtlicher Mietwagen -Anfahrt herzlich empfangen !!! Der gesamte Urlaub hier war entspannend . Vermieter immer ansprechbar , alles tip-top sauber u. wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ...!!! Wir würden jederzeit wieder herkommen..... Lieben Gruß ,Ilona
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Positively sleepy village with couple of restaurants and cafes, much cooler and less crowded as coast side which is only 15 mins drive away. Accommodation very pretty, clean and well maintained. Highly recommended.
