• Tina Helen (6/5): - Koselig rom - men ganske skuffet da strømmen gikk og det ikke var mulig å få tak i noen ansatte. Rommet var valgt på bakgrunn av wifi og AC, så da strømmen gikk var vi dessverre like langt.

• Stacy (10/5): A lovely little oasis - We loved our stay! The room was very clean and tastefully decorated and we so appreciated the air conditioning. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were friendly and helpful.
• Ben (8/5): expected a little more for this price - Pros: nice rooms, no smell, good bed, open air bathroom, large breakfast, strong internet if u well positioned to pickup main wifi signal, located near many restaurants and the port. Cons: mosquitos in room first night (and no mosquito net for bed, only spray provided), no soap, bathroom mirror too small and installed too low for tall person, charged for water refills beyond very first one (not one bottle per night as you would expect), poorly designed bathroom sink - at low flow water from faucet pours onto counter instead of in sink basin. Overall expect a little more for the price, better cheaper options exist on the island.

• Laura (10/5): Très bon séjour - Habitations sympathiques et confortables situées dans une petite ruelle non loin du port. Salle de bain à ciel ouvert, douche froide et peu de pression mais pas desagreable pour autant. Petit déjeuner avec du pain frai fabriqué sur place à la française ;-) !! Toute l’équipe est au petit soin. Propriétaire français! N’hésitez surtout pas, vous pouvez leur faire confiance Très bon rapport qualité/prix
• Dennis (10/5): Prisvärt! - Väldigt enkelt och trevlig personal. Ägaren välkomnade oss med lemonad och gav tips om ön. Hade vi några frågor fick vi hjälp av personalen eller ägaren. Frukosten var mycket bra! Nybakat bröd och banankaka! Vi hyrde cyklar, snorkelutrustning och de hade även tvättservice.

• Maryna (8/5): In the Village - We booked 4 rooms. We had a great stay. Breakfast was good in the garden. Rooms spacious with aircon. Openair bathroom with fresh cold water (no hot water needed). Bicycle for rent for small fee. Wi-fi did not work all the time. Rival village is in the village and not on the beachfront but easy to get around once you get used to the area. Locals pronounce the name as RiPal so we had difficulty getting the place when we arrived but it is close to the boat landings. Neighbour's children were sometimes a bit noisy, but not a problem. If you want beachfront views this is not for you. The island is small and one gets by easily.
• Verified traveler (10/5): Clean place and friendly staff - We were happy with everything at Rival Village: Max was super helpful and friendly, the room was in good condition and was clean, and the outdoor bathroom was really nice. The only drawback was that smoke from trash burned nearby occasionally came into the room (but at this time trash was burned all over the island). The breakfast consisted of a small bowl of fresh fruit, coffee/tea, lemon juice, and pancakes. The breakfast was good, but for a longer stay we would have appreciated other options than pancakes for breakfast. We would definitely stay at Rival Village again!
• RICHARD (10/5): Great place, friendly host, delicious breakfast - We had a great stay at the Rival Village. It's a nice high quality place with a relaxing sitting area in the garden. The place has a great location - it's close to heart of the island, including the beach, harbour, cafes, restaurants and shops. The room was very comfortable, spacious with cool outdoor bathroom and little porch which is nice for relaxing. The hotel owner is an amazing host - very friendly, genuine and fun to talk to. He is also very knowledgeable about the local area (as he lived on the island for many years and is also a free-diving instructor!) and provided us with great tips about the island (best swimming places etc.). We also loved the breakfast - it was really delicious, it looked very appetizing and was also quite filling. Overall, we felt like we were well looked after and would definitely stay here again!

• Verified traveler (8/5): - hôtel relativement bien situé mais pas sur la plage, chambre très très propre, mais aucun service durant tout mon séjour, même la poubelle de la salle de bain n’a pas été vidée. Chambre ultra simple, pas de télé, pas de frigo, pas de moustiquaire et aucune possibilité d’accro la mienne, eau froide dans la salle de bain, en plus les voyageurs individuels ne sont pas les bienvenus, ils doivent payer un supplément de 100%, n’ont pas pour cela une plus belle chambre ou droit à une deuxième tasse de café au petit déjeuner, un couple lui a droit à deux petit dej s.
