• Joan (7/5): It suited us since we were only there for a short time. - It was clean and comfortable. The meals provided were well presented. The staff very helpful Noise of the overflow outside my window when it hit the tin roof below. There was a lack of privacy as all bedrooms were opposite other properties and curtains had to be kept closed. The access to the parking area was too steep for the car to drive in easily.

This Villa located at the high point very cool, should provide disposable slipper for the guests. And very important the HOT Water very very slow should have water pump, difficult to take shower. Hot water only at bathroom the tap around the villa fully cold water. If can try to have dryer machine will be helpful.

• rnazar (9/5): - We had a wonderful stay at Silver Mist, Kodaikanal. The rooms and villa were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of Kodaikanal. It’s easy to reach by car or traveller, and the 4-bedroom villa had plenty of space for our large group. The staff were friendly and attentive, especially Mithun and his team, who were very helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was tasty and a great start to the day. The only small area for improvement would be the dinner options, as the food was a bit too spicy for our taste.

• Ashutosh (8/5): Good homestay but not so great location! - Property has ample space and housekeeping staff was very courteous and responding. Food was delicious and though it seems costly when they share the price list but the quantity more than justifies the price. They also provide kitchen with some basic utensils so there is an option to prepare home-made food if that's what one is looking for. They also wash utensils and clean toilets on request. They also have TT and mini fooseball in the apartment itself which was a hit with the kids. It's more than 7km from city so need to travel 15km extra for any sightseeing or dining in main city, if you are traveling with a cab these eats up in your miles limit. Also the access road to the homestay is slightly rough and steep so might be an issue for low floor vehicles or vehicles with less power.

No near by shops even to buy water , minimum of 10minutes drive. Poor service, Staff very disappointing. Especially Shankar. Apartment is good, but not maintained . Bed linen and towels were old and stained. Not worth of price.
• Brabaakaran (9/5): Enjoyable villa for perfect cold weather holiday - Suitable for family of 6. Three rooms with attached bathroom was convinient. There is kitchen, family room, carrom board and terrace at roof top makes the villa a perfect place for relaxation. They also provide lunch or dinner with reasonable price. 10 am check out time is way too early. 12pm is standard worldwide. Villa is little far from town but its okay for us as we wanted a peaceful environment.

It was very spacious and comfortable and will definitely choose the same property next time. Staff prepared delicious food, my son still miss their paneer pakoda and butter chicken! Morning tea on the terrace with mountain view, it was so dreamy. Would like to thank all staff, they were so courteous and friendly. We left with good memories and smile on our face. We stayed in the 4 bedroom Annex 1. The villa is spacious with beautiful views of Kodaikanal town especially at night. Recommended for people who value peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle.. Own vehicle/24 hr taxi is essential. Not exactly a con but the last bit of approach road is unpaved and steep. Slightly tricky to navigate.

The fans could not be adjusted for speed and were running at top speed. Without fans there was no air circulation. It will help if there are more water heaters for the bathrooms especially because it is such a cold place. It felt like there was only one for the entire villa.

A perfect hideout for a group or a family who would like to be under same roof. It’s remote location adds to peaceful environment. A missing in-house slippers. Due to cold condition it’s makes little uncomfortable to walk inside. And also Absence of On time food order. A advance request for food and beverage doesn’t really please the appetite. Instant ordering and supply service will add a notch to the business.
