- 520edwards (4/5): Not The Best - Not The Best; The room was dirty, cobwebs on the windows, thick dust on the coat hangers, I was shocked! The bed was ok, but the TV had [2] remotes, 1, switched the tv on and controlled the volume, the other changed the channel. I had the return to reception and ask staff to actually switch the tv on for me as there were no instructions in the room, and when I first switched the tv on, it was all in Chinese. I also had to return to reception a 2nd time to get the internet password and log on as these details were not given to me at check in and they were not in the room, all inconvenient!

- Amanda (10/5): - I have it 5 stars simply because it accommodates myself with my little family and pooch perfectly. We all had a bed. A working aircon and fridge. It was a great spot to break our journey from Darwin to Bundaberg and to settle my pooch and grand daughter for the night. Check in was easy as I phoned ahead. Thank you so much.

- Claire (4/5): - Very outdated, spiders, cobwebs and mould in bathroom. Mouse poo in draws. My husband got bitten by bugs in bed and ended up with swollen ear. There were dogs roaming. There was another man who seemed like a long term resident yelling abuse and profanity at the reception door on Christmas Day. Scared my children. It was not enjoyable, we spent as much time as possible out of the unit and would have moved if there was other accommodation available. Place needs a good clean and some love that’s for sure.

- Amber (2/5): - Wouldn’t recommend. Stayed a couple hours then left and booked into another hotel. Place was pretty disgusting sheets were dirty walls were dirty and mouldy. Shower was useless with pressure and temperature. Floors were disgusting and sent all our feet black. Holes in the wall and floor in kids room and light bulb missing from bathroom light. exhaust fan didn’t work and couldn’t open the window. Cutlery was dirty and looked used. Just an overall gross place

As soon as i drove in I had an off feeling, kind of looked a bit slummy, a lot of people just hanging around the place. Got my key, went in my room, looked around the room, and immediately decided i couldnt stay there. It was old, outdated, and the linoleum floor had massive rips and pieces missing. Lost my money, but stayed somewhere else in town and cut my trip short.
- Jason (2/5): DO NOT STAY - DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE. First room had blood spots on sheets and was disgusting and grimy. Asked for another room was just as disgusting. 3rd room had an upstairs with a dog running around sounded like someone running on a tin shed. I have been to many mining camps in my years of being in mining and nothing was as bad as this motel. P.S do not eat at the restaurant I ordered takeaway and through it straight in the bin.
- cheshirebubble (2/5): Worse than a drug den - Holes in floor, holes in walls, filthy oven, writing all over the walls, like the walls had never been cleaned. Rubbish from previous occupants still in the bin! Floor filthy and not even a broom to clean it myself. Bathroom sink hole had been cut out so they solved the issue by putting a food strainer In it.... and the fire alarm had been removed! STEER CLEAR!

- Leah (4/5): - I liked the bed, it was very big and comfortable. The staff were responsive to our requests, they didn't say much! The rooms are old and not the cleanest, especially the fridge and the remote, but it was habitable and tolerable for the price. I didn't like that online it says there was a restaurant and a pool, but the restaurant was not operating and pool was unavailable. The toaster also did not work. There was also some loud yelling and fighting outside our room around 10pm which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe, but we survived the night! I probably would not want to stay any longer.
- Alaina (4/5): - The room I had was dirty, as if it had not been cleaned properly. There was a wad of toilet paper stuffed in the ceiling tile in the bathroom, along with numerous spider webs. The sink and shower had black mold and dust that could have been scrubbed away. There was gecko poop on the bench in the bathroom and the faucet in the bathroom had toothpaste residue stuck to it when I checked in. There was constant noise outside my room, sounds of construction, lawn maintenance and beeping car horns. The bath towels also didn't seem to have been washed before because they left fabric residue all over my skin after showering. On their website, it states they have a shuttle to the airport which they do not offer anymore (this was the main reason I booked the place). Would not recommend.

- Excursion553316 (10/5): Saved the Day - Ended up here after our original booking at another place turned out to be a dump. While is a traditional 60s motel it was very clean, very comfy bed. A Chinese restaurant on premises which can also provide bacon and eggs breakfast. Hosts were very obliging. It is very reasonably priced.
- mickdV7223MJ (6/5): Refreshing sleep - Wasn't expecting much for $120 for the night, was given room 19,open the door and wow the King bed or super king bed was very firm, had lovely expensive white linen, lovely pillows, lovely top cover, lovely padded headboard, nicely designed table lamps, the air con worked well, the tv worked well, the fridge/freezer had a proper freezer seperate door, tea coffee, shower worked well, older looking bathroom everything worked well, bath towels need replacing as starting to break down and outside door the two steps needed a new safety strip to be added as i tripped on it, i spoke and showed management this safety issue to put it right straight away...didn't eat at restaurant, got kfc instead.

The whole place is dirty and looks no one has cleaned it in years. Outside my room there were broken and old furniture, old trollies and a lawn mower. The entrance is a block construction that looks like it had never been cleaned in its life. This place is a joke for the price i would never allow my worst enemy to stay there clean up your act Inland.
- PaoloF2064 (4/5): What doesn't kill you makes you stronger - Should be half the price for what it is and what it offers. It's not disgusting, don't get me wrong, but for $110 I expected much more. Needs a lot of TLC, better equipment (a microwave or a toaster would be great). Sorry, not coming back.
- taylmw (8/5): Simple, Tidy, and Pet Friendly - We needed a pet friendly hotel and chose this one. We found it to be fairly simple but pleasingly clean. It was also the first room I've had in a while with ample power points. Given everyone has things such as laptops and phone chargers you tend to quickly run out of Power points at most hotels but not so here. This isn't the Hilton but it's clean, tidy and a good place to stop. The fact it's friendly to pets is an absolute bonus as these are hard to find. I recommend this place.
- 947stormj (6/5): No pool and Hot - checked in to find the woman i spoke to on the phone didnt reserve my room from when i called and made a booking 6 weeks earlier, was put into cabin 50, aircon was not on, its a 45 degree day, its hot as hell in there, the fridge didnt work that great, nothing froze in the freezer, had to throw food out because of it.. the shower was taped up n squirted water out of the sides the aircon was useless..didnt actually start to cool the room down til almost 11pm at night.. and there was no pool.. it was empty..

- nic0les1 (10/5): Great pet friendly place to stay in Mt Isa - The cabins we stayed in were excellent, clean and pet friendly. The staff are very obliging, and very helpful. They serviced our rooms every day and gave us an abundance of towels. The restaurant was excellent and big portions. I know some of the hotel at the front is dated, but our cabins were excellent. Would definitely come back and stay here and I highly recommend this motel.
- PaulDevaney (6/5): Work Accommodation - This Motel has obviously been neglected over the years and I believe it was actually closed for a period of time. It is now under new management and they have a huge task in front of them. The actual room I was in was large and comfortable and they also provided all the meals which were very good and servings were very generous. The staff were always friendly and happy to assist you when help was required.
