- JOE (10/5): - This is more of a budget hotel that has very limited amenities, condition and furnishings are of lower qualities, certain rooms the bathroom set up is strange.
- Yaming (7/5): We are regular customers but thinking about another hotel if nothing changed - The location is what we like. Most of the staffs were nice and helpful except for an odd lady works in 7th floor. The bathroom always has bad smell from sewage system as a result we have to often keep the bathroom window open. Air-conditioning was not adjustable and the blanket was quite thick. In the hot day it was too hot to cover the blanket but too cold if not covered.

Rooms old, no breakfast, currently doing renovations, towels were dirty, bathroom dirty, a lot of dust everywhere, air con had a lot of dust. Stained pillows and bedsheets.

- Michael (7/5): Good hotel if the Management could manage Fire Escape routes properly. - Hotel is just opposite No. 4 Subway, 'Nanmen ' station 2nd Exit. The room and beds were clean, air-con was strong, free coffee/tea/Mineral water provided, which could meet our general expectation in full. 1)The Fire-Escape tools including Air-filter Mask, though nicely packed, should be placed on a prominent corner instead of just chucking under the Bed-side desk. 2) Exits for two Fire-Escape routes were all locked. The main Fire Exit on street level behind the Spectacle Shop was permanently locked while for another escape route, exits on every floor were locked. The female aunty said they locked it afterwork so outsiders could not anyhow enter the hotel !

Staff was speaking only Chinese language, and internet connection could have been better.

- Guangqing (7/5): It was ok but could have been better. - The location is great. There is a tube station across the street from the hotel. There are also a couple shopping malls around the corner which could be a spot for food if you don’t want to walk far. The room is of good size. The facility is poor. One of the light switches was broken. There is no handle at all on the wardrobe. There is also a lot dirt on the floor.

- john (8/5): Once upon a time in Suzhou... - At first, I realized I booked the wrong Pace location, although it was easy enough to catch the metro two stops to the other location. The staff were helpful in guiding me to the correct hotel, and offered to change if necessary (I figured better to stick with the reservation). Once settled, the new staff were also kind, though difficulty speaking English! Room was decent and clean, and breakfast delivered to the door each morning. I would recommend Pace to other travelers!

- MLam (10/5): - Location: The hotel is located near Panmen area. There's a metro Line 4 (Nan men station) and the bus stop nearby, making our travel around Suzhou very convenient. Check-in: The staff are very friendly and showed us to our rooms. We book a Elite Double Room and a Triple Room for our family. It's extremely delightful when the staff informed us that we were upgraded to the Deluxe Family Room. Room: We love the design of the room. Plenty of space to lay out luggage. Though there's no closet for clothes, clothes hangers were provided. It was fine since we only stayed for 2 nights. Would love to see a hanging space inside the bathroom as well because we couldn't hang our clothes when showering. Our favourite part is the TV with a lot of updated Hollywood movies. We had fun catching up some movies after a whole day out. Breakfast: simple yet sufficient with both Chinese and Western choices Laundry: the laundry area is at level 2 near the restaurant. This is very useful for us travelling with kids. They have both washing machines and dryers. Overall, this is a very pleasant stay and we would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.

But most of all, their staff are excellent, especially when problems arrived to you, they make sure they solve your problem as soon as possible. That is an indication of a good hotel staff. Plus their breakfast is great.
