• sameera (1/5): Overall, this was one of the worst decisions we made, and these matters require immediate attention - not worth the money and extra charge 1000 for two little kids, but does not provide a proper English breakfast This was our second stay at the property. During our previous visit with our baby girl, we received a warm welcome, which encouraged us to book the property again. However, this time it turned out to be a disappointing experience. The staff should be more welcoming and friendly towards guests, ensuring a proper reception upon arrival. Unfortunately, no welcome drink was offered, and it seemed they were not adequately prepared to accommodate Sri Lankan guests. Additionally, the television in our room was not functioning, and no effort was made to apologize or resolve the issue. The room itself was also quite dusty. Overall, this was one of the worst decisions we made, and these matters require immediate attention and improvement from the management.

De plus, il a plu et nous avons eu une invasion de papillons dans la chambre, ce qui aurait pu être évité si nous avions été prévenus que c’est une chose habituelle ici. Au moment de payer, ils nous ont informés qu’ils n’acceptaient que le paiement en espèces, alors qu’il était indiqué partout que la carte était acceptée. Ils nous ont donc fait retourner en ville pour retirer de l’argent. Nous avons vraiment fini sur une mauvaise note. C’est vraiment dommage, car la vue est magnifique.
• chloe (5/5): Not the greatest stay, but you get what you pay for. - Could not fault the staff. They were great. The hotel itself is very run down, room was not very clean. No soundproofing, room was right next to reception and dining so very loud. Bed was very loud also, squeaky. Listed laundry service in the booking however they do not provide this.

Die Ausstattung der Unterkunft wäre gut, wenn nicht die Matratzen in den Betten vom Material her so wären, dass sie bei jeder kleinsten Bewegung nervige Geräusche von sich geben würden. Da wir zwei verschiedene Zimmer hatten, scheint das Standart zu sein. Das Frühstück war das schlechteste auf unserer Reise. Uns wurde jeden Tag Toast mit Marmelade, Würstchen und Omelett vorgesetzt (Omelett schmeckte). Tee kam immer nachdem man fast fertig war mit essen. Der Saft schmeckte sehr chemisch, war vermutlich aus einer Packung. Es gab kein Obst. Die Verständigung mit dem Personal auf englisch war schwierig. Die Jungs waren zwar grundsätzlich freundlich, machten jedoch auch mehrere Fehler, die uns letztlich störten. Wäscheservice wird nicht angeboten oder arrangiert. Cool war, dass wir unser Gepäck zwei Tage zwischenlagern konnten, um zum Adams Peak zu reisen.

• Arttu (8/5): Majatalo harjun huipulla - Sijainti oli harjun huipulla useamman kilometrin päässä keskustasta. Näkymät oli hienot, mutta jalan harjulle kapuaminen sai paidan märäksi. Lähellä oli pieni minimarket, mutta ei muita palveluita. Majatalolla oli oma ravintola, mutta se oli kiinni molempina yöpymisiltoinamme. Huone oli ihan ok. Se oli aavistuksen kulahtanut eikä suihkussa ollut tarjolla shampoota. Huonetta ei siivottu kahden yön vierailumme aikana. Pistorasioista suurin osa oli mallia M, johon yleisimmät adapterit eivät sovi. Saimme lainaksi yhden niihin sopivan adapterin.
• Thavrith (10/5): - Traveling solo. Stayed for two nights. Good price and breakfast included. Very polite and friendly staff. Owner, Dan, is very friendly and helpful. It’s on a “steep” hill and about 3.5 kilometers to Lake Kandy—-a good distance for walking exercise. This is probably my most favorite and the best budget hotel I had stayed in. Strongly recommend it.

It is a beautiful location but a little far from the centre of town. Although, it was nice to be out of the hustle and bustle for a bit too! • Rebecca (8/5): Incredible Views and Friendly Staff - Very peaceful guest house, high above the hustle and bustle of busy Kandy. We enjoyed our 1 night stay here. They provided us with a delicious breakfast. All of the staff were very welcoming, helpful and kind. The bed was big and comfortable, the AC worked well and the water was nice and hot. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the balcony, reading our books in the morning, watching the sun rise. Amazing views. It was perfect for what we needed and excellent value for money. Thank you. Some ants in the room. But most places in Sri Lanka so far, we’ve had a similar problems.

• Rony (10/5): - Jack tree lodge is a nice place to stay, the owner is very nice and the staff too, we felt home. They offered breakfast every morning. The location is a 15 minutes walk from the city which was better for us. The rooms have a nice view. The only disadvantage in Kandy is that almost everything closes around 10 pm so nothing much to do or places to eat.

• Sandani (2/5): Not happy about the stay. could have been better with some very small inexpensive changes - Good location. There were no tea or coffee making facilities although they have mentioned as they provide it on the website. Not vegetarian friendly. I had almost nothing for breakfast. Staff is extremely unfriendly. No proper communication at all.
• Ilse (7/5): Nice with a few issues - Very quiet location away from the busy center, but just a few minutes by tuk tuk to shops and restaurants. Great views. Big room. Fridge in the room. Breakfast service was a little strange and slow sometimes. Room was not mosquito-proof, gaps in the windows and the hole in the bathroom floor for drainage was an entryway for lots of ants. Also some mould in the bathroom
• Indika (1/5): Frustrating - View from the room is good This is the terrible place. This is entirely support less place. No one attend to find out your requirements. You have to follow up with the people to get done basic things like water bottles. We were not provided single chair at room to have meals on it . Very frustrating support. Never recommend to anyone
