• Timothy (8/5): - My large downstairs unit was located directly under the dining room kitchen so a bit noisy. The room was loaded with comfy beds but missing a table and chairs, so limited flat space...otherwise the outdoor access, and bath suite with sauna were exceptional!

Casa super accogliente, confortevole, curata in ogni minimo dettaglio. Spazi ampi e molto vivibili! Ottimo veramente tutto!! Colazione super disponibile in struttura. Il terrazzo sul retro perfetto! Disponibili anche sauna e idromassaggio all’aperto. La camera in cui eravamo, la prima in alto a sinistra, un po’ piccola per due persone con i bagagli, considerato anche che la casa era vuota e forse c’erano altre camere leggermente più spaziose.. ma è stata scelta da noi in precedenza su Booking quindi era già programmato! Forse sarebbe comunque meglio pensarla per una persona.. ma tutto bellissimo comunque!!

It said a hit tub was standard in the room but it was not. It was outside of the building and it was an extra charge. The tv remote and tv did not work correctly.

Be aware the location is out there. If you plan to do things in Palmer or the surrounding area, it's not a problem, but it's not the best central base location.

• christina (8/5): Clean and simple. - Clean and nice remote location. Spacious. Arrived and left in a snow storm and the driveway was not plowed during that time. It’s a fairly remote driveway, you could really get stuck. I’m not wimpy about snow, being from Montana. I was grateful they shoveled around my car from the front door, that cracked me up actually. But when it snows a foot, driveway should be plowed. Also, processed bagels and muffins, frozen sausage patties, and eggs in the fridge ready for you to cook yourself isn’t quite enough to call yourself a B&B.

Ontbijt mocht je zelf maken uit een goed gevulde koelkast. Zelfs alles voor het maken van verse pancakes was aanwezig. Eigenaren reageren snel en zeer behulpzaam. • Gerd (7/5): Wer die Natur liebt und kein Problem mit einem „Wg“ Flär hat, ist dort gut aufgehoben. - Das Gebäude und die tolle Bauweise und Dekoration des Gemeinschaftsraumes. Die Vorräte für das Frühstück zum selbst zubereiten waren super. Wir haben ein Zimmer mit eigenem Bad gebucht, jedoch war das Bad nur über den Gemeinschaftsflur mit offenem Blick aus dem Gemeinschaftsraum der unteren Etage, erreichbar. Unser Zimmer war so klein, dass wir nicht mal einen Koffer aufmachen konnten.

Many unexpected finds such as mints wrapped inside of bath linens,makeup remover wipes and clothes,popcorn package left in room and etc. Self serve breakfast!! The lovely kitchen had everything you could posssibly want. A bowl of fresh fruit was on the kitchen counter. You will not be disappointed. I had left a day's supply of medictation in our room. They were thoughtful enough to text me so I would know. That I had NOT planned for a longer stay.

• Charleen (9/5): Anniversary stay - We booked last minute for our 23rd wedding anniversary, what a beautiful home. Everything we needed was available to make a good breakfast to get you going. Nice and clean a very comfortable atmosphere. Unfortunately, the bed was a bit of a letdown.

One of the things we like about B&Bs is the ability to get to know the owner. We did not like having to make our own breakfast. Also, not every room has its own bathroom.

• Milton (8/5): Excelente escolha, se você é jovem e forte - Casa grande e confortável. Localização em meio a mata alasquiana com vista bloqueada. Cozinha muito bem equipada (geladeira, microondas, máquina de café, máquina lavar louça, fogão, talheres etc). O café da manhã fica dentro da geladeira e você se serve do que quiser e prepara, após faz uma pré limpeza e coloca tudo na maquina de lavar. Tem quartos com banheiro interno e outros com banheiro externo, como se fosse coletivo. No andar superior tem um quarto com banheiro externo e uma suite, o mesmo que acontece no primeiro andar. Os quartos do piso térreo só tem acesso pela entrada principal que é no primeiro andar, e descendo, internamente, para o andar térreo. A edificação é nova e feita com troncos. Para chegar à entrada principal tem uma enorme escada. Se vc está com malas esta escada é de puro sofrimento. Quando acessa a entrada principal ou você sobe mais um andar ou desce um andar. Cuidado pessoas da terceira idade e pessoas não muito forte! Você terá muita dificuldade para entrar com suas malas (terão bastante dificuldade de chegar aos seus quartos). A acomodação deveria alertar sobre isso.

• Tina (9/5): It was lovely. - I loved the rustic feel, the decor the amazing amenities. I felt safe, which is important to me. There is only one thing you could do better.... more mirrors. There is one mirror in the bathroom and with 3+ people needing the bathroom it makes preparation very difficult. The reason I would not stay again is I didn't realize how far away from my sister it was. That is the only reason. And my mom is in a nursing home in anchorage. Though I loved the drive, it did make it challenging.

• Margarete (9/5): Ein außergewöhnlich schöner Aufenthalt - Die Lodge ist wunderschön ausgestattet und liegt - von Bäumen umrandet - ein paar Meilen außerhalb von Palmer, ist aber gut zu erreichen. Palmer ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung und ist nicht so weit von Anchorage entfernt. Das Einchecken nimmt man selbst vor, da der Eigner nicht in der Lodge wohnt. Auch das Frühstück bereitet man sich selbst zu, was uns gefallen hat, die Küche ist mit allem Notwendigen ausgerüstet, der Kühlschrank ist gut gefüllt. Die Zimmer sind von der Größe unterschiedlich. Unser Zimmer im Erdgeschoss hatte eine normale Größe und ein sehr schönes, großes Badezimmer mit freistehender Badewanne. In der Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes sind viele Gäste spät am Abend angereist. Die Rücksichtnahme der Gäste ist - wie immer und überall - unterschiedlich ausgeprägt. Einige Gäste meinten, auch nach 22 Uhr die Waschmaschine laufen lassen zu müssen oder die Sauna und den Whirlpool benutzen zu müssen.

• William (9/5): This was the most comfortable B&B I have ever stayed at. - It was like staying in our own home. The owners provided us with a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen. The refrigerator was stocked with eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, English muffins and fruits. The only thing the kitchen did not have was a microwave. Everything else was perfect. Putting a microwave in would help but the place was awesome and not having a microwave would not prevent me from staying there again.

• Helmut (9/5): Die Unterkunft war super komfortabel und super gelegen! - Es war alles im Fridge für das Frühstück. Zubereitung war auf eigenen Wunsch Wir waren etwas überrascht das wir das Bad und die gesamte Unterkunft mit dem Nachbarzimmer teilen mussten. Eine Vorabinfo wäre hilfreich gewesen, dann hätten wir uns darauf einstellen können bzw. nochmals umentscheiden können.

• Omer Faruk (9/5): Excellent cabin - Amazing and cozy cabin in the woods. Everything was sparkling clean. We received great support. The house was heated well and evenly. Kitchen was great. The hot tub was not available at the time.
