• Damian (10/5): - The hotel is perfectly located just outside the city center (it's less than a 10 minute walk to the main square) making it very quiet. Everything looked like new and extremely clean and neat. The staff is amazing and very helpful in providing guidance and organization for day trips or transport to and from the city. Breakfast is different every day but always delicious and fresh, letting you try a different local delicacy each morning. Would come back for sure! Nothing, everything was superb.

• Compass53446112908 (10/5): hotel de corazon review - location , a little far from the zocalo and center of the city but if you can walk 15 min its ok. atmosphere , great , really smooth and calm rooms , clean and big , at least the one i reserved value , its a little high considerating certain thing service its great if you ask me about the cookers and cleaning staff ... but the main desk staff.... well if you are from another country like USA o europe its ok. because if you are from yor own country ... lets justa say ,... not so good. Amenities, in you are from another place thats not your country like mexico .. sure there a lot at high prices .. but if you are from mexico .. they would not even tell you about it. if you are hungry thell give directions on how to get to public mercados or as one of the front desk girls told me.... you can go to the supermarket and buy something to eat there.

The hotel has a social impact side too which is nice when you're trying to responsibly visit places that run the risk of gentrification. And breakfasts were so creative and fab! A TV would have been nice but nothing beyond that!

We had just the right number of people to fit around the kitchen counter for the preparation of the dishes. We made a special mole from scratch, a shrimp cocktail that was so fresh and colourful and cocadas for dessert. Good clear explanations, lots of hands on, and the food came out delish! Thoroughly recommended!

A fantastic afternoon, first shopping in the local market for fresh ingredients and then learning how to prepare a wonderful three course meal. The staff were so welcoming and ensured that everyone in the group was fully involved in all aspects of the day. And of.course. a delicious meal at the end! The highlight.if my trip so far and highly recommended.

Die Zimmertüren gehen alle direkt nach draußen und sind nicht isoliert o. Ä., dadurch hört man den Verkehr von der Straße leider etwas zu gut.

El desayuno muy bueno con una impronta de la cocina mexicana. Wifi de buena señal con algunas intermitencias. El personal súper amable y servicial con positiva predisposición para solucionar problemas. La habitación extremadamente pequeña y poco funcional. En el baño había una mampara fija de vidrio que dividía la ducha por lo que siempre salpicaba el resto del recinto. Para acceder al perchero había que subirse a la cama. Todo muy incómodo. La relación calidad-precio es regular.

We really loved our little room and the extra bonus of having a outside hang area next to it. The whole environment was lovely and the most special of all is the fact that they work with local youth. Win win! Unfortunately I am a pretty light sleeper and even sleeping with earplugs the morning traffic was pretty loud. That being said our friends stayed in a room on the ground floor and did not have that experience, so just depends on the location of your room.

• 40Matthijs1974 (6/5): Too Noisy and do not understand the high ratings. - Location is slightly out of town but still walking distance. The botel contacted us by WhatsApp the day before arrival and informed us there is sufficient street parking options around. Maybe we were unlucky but there was no place to find and the paid public parking was full the first night. It took a long time to find a spot and thats not fun after already a long day driving.. Especially after receiving info there would be no issues. The morning we were leaving we needed the car around 7am and, because the paid public parking only opens at 8am we parked on the street. This went well the second day but we didn't feel 100% safe, maybe unjustified. The room is very noisy and basic, we heard trucks all night and both our nights the person staying above us decided to have long loud phone calls at 3am. Only after knocking on her door she stopped. Not sure if the hotel is to blame for this but it is designed in such a way that the bathrooms are " open " to the ones up and hence very noisy. We did like the games in the common room, we did leave after two days of lack of sleep instead the planned three and definitely not return here.

O hotel não fica no centrinho, mas pela avenida principal você chega fácil. É bem seguro. Pessoal da cozinha fazia preparos e arrumava cozinha a noite. Então sempre tinha barulho até depois das 23h. E você ouve barulho de outros quartos também.
• Beth (9/5): I highly recommend this hotel. Great value and location for money. - This was a lovely boutique hotel. The staff could not have been nicer. The free breakfast was amazing with yoghurt, fruit, juice, tea, coffee and a different cooked breakfast every day. There was a fridge with beer and wine that we had access to at all times, and just wrote down what we took. Fresh water was available on every floor. Our twin beds were a bit too hard. But a friend in another room said her bed was lovely.

It's located very very close to the city center but slightly on the outside of it which allows for less noise at night. The breakfast was excellent, fresh and different every morning while incorporating delicious ingredients from the Oaxaca region. Overall, great experience. Our room was spacious and very comfortable as well.

• David (10/5): - Great location a short walk to town. Very safe with a police station next door. Enough restaurants in the area but most high quality restaurants are in town. Rooms are small but functional. Bed was extra firm but pillows were flimsy. Some guests ( including us) had hot water issues but they responded with a spare room we could shower in until the hot water heater was fixed. Breakfast was fantastic. Service was friendly and warm. Overall a solid choice especially if this is your first visit to Oaxaca.

• Thomas mit th (10/5): Sehr gutes Hotelzimmer, super einfaches Frühstück, gerne immer wieder. - Es war bis auf 2 kleine Einschränkungen alles Perfekt. Gutes Bett, reichlich Kissen, angenehme Größe des Zimmer, großes sauberes, modernes Badezimmer, ausreichende Haken um Kleidungsstück aufzuhängen, gutes Frühstück, gute Lage um die Stadt zu erkunden, nettes Personal, gratis Trinkwasser. Ich würde immer wieder dort Übernachten. Wie in modernen Hotelbadezimmer mittlerweile üblich, ist der Zugang zur Dusche nur noch zur Hälfte mit einer Glasfront versehen und kann nicht komplett geschlossen werden, wenn man duschen will. Da landet dann leider ab und an doch der ein oder andere Wasserspritzer außerhalb der Dusche und macht den Badezimmerboden mehr nass als einem lieb ist. Das Zimmer ist durch seine Bauart recht kühl von den Temperaturen. Es sind alles akzeptable Einschränkungen und führen nicht zum Punktabzug.

Would recommend for a short stay. Would probably choose a room not on ground floor like we had. We had a terrace room on the ground floor. Some gaps in the structure of the room so bugs could easily get in.

• Pim727 (8/5): Great vibes - Great atmosphere & very friendly staff. The hotel looks very nice as well. The location is not bad but there are nicer areas to stay in Oaxaca. It is also on a busy road which gives some noise. There is very little water coming out of the shower and it was not warm but i think this is maybe a problem from the area. The price of the room is really quite steep for the value you get.

• melody (10/5): Excellent and comfy - Very good vibes, the staff were celebrating one of their birthdays over lunch when I arrived. The rooms were beautifully decorated and super clean. Breakfast was delicious each morning. The bed was firm, which I like. Just a short 10-25 walk to the center, markets, shops and restaurants. I recommend Taniperla a few mins walk. Also really appreciate reinvestment in the local community.
• Excursion47579218314 (6/5): Good hotel, with sound issues between rooms to be improved. - It is essential and absolutely imperative that the transmission of sounds and noises from the bathroom located above Room 8 be addressed and fixed. Absolutely everything can be heard, from a simple sneeze to very intimate bathroom noises. It is impossible to feel comfortable when it sounds as if the person upstairs is inside the same room (in which you are supposed to be resting in). In a hotel, this situation is simply unacceptable and must be corrected. Aside from this issue, everything else was excellent: the hotel is beautiful, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff is very kind and attentive. However, resolving the sound insulation between rooms is indispensable.

• claude (6/5): Well appointed boutique hotel.. unfortunate circumstances.. - The room was lovely, well appointed and nicely decorated. Good hot shower. All super clean and comfortable Unfortunately we had booked here without knowing there was a festival outside the nearby church and the noise was very loud until late. Ear plugs were provided but if we had known about the festival noise we wouldn't have booked. It's probably not bad in every room..as rooms are on different levels.. Réception check in and check out not so warm and friendly either.

Es wird Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt (zB Wasserspender), Freundliches Personal. Besonders der Kochkurs hat viel Spaß gemacht :) Würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten.

• Paulo Fernando (10/5): Amazing stay in Oaxaca that also helps the community - The hotel is very charming and serves an amazing breakfast. The staff is super warm and welcoming, the beds are very good, and the toiletry are of great quality. It was one of the best bathrooms I've been during my trip in Mexico. There was nothing I didn't like in this stay. maybe the pillows were not as good as they could be (compared to other hotels I've been).

We love walking but if you have mobility issues note it’s around a 20 - We loved the the hotel as a whole, the rooms were really nicely designed with a thoughtful antidote on one of the students who did the art in the room and attended the program. The breakfast was lovely. The girl checking us in was either having a bad evening or just didn’t like her job. Wasn’t very welcoming and made us feel awkward.

Het ontbijt was heerlijk en de openbare ruimtes heel mooi. We hadden geen goed warm water en de kamer was comfotabal en schoon en netjes, maar wel vrij basic, voor de prijs. Ik ga er maar even vanuit dat de hogere prijs naar de educatieprojecten gaat en dan hebben we er vrede mee.

It's been a while since I experienced such a warm welcome and treatment. The hotel is a social enterprise and invests in local education so it is nice to know you make a positive impact by staying there..

Für diesen Preis gibt es ein unglaubliches Zimmer, das beste Frühstück was man sich vorstellen kann und gleichzeitig hilft man durch die Buchung des Zimmers Jugendliche zusätzlich für Stipendien zu finanzieren. • Nao (10/5): I will come back！Thanks for your hospitality. - 街中なのに、ツリーハウスの様に自然を感じられる場所。 お部屋も清潔でかわいい。ここにしてよかった。 スタッフも全てフレンドリーで 声をかけてくれる。英語のできるスタッフがいるので安心。 朝食はコーヒーのおかわりも自由！ 街中の情報も色々教えてくれる。 DIDIで500円くらいで街中へ。 シャワールームの上を見上げると空だった。 ベッドも心地よくて快眠でした。 ホテルの作りや色合いが自然でオシャレで好み。 朝食も美味しい。 またオアハカに来た時は 訪れたい宿。 お湯が、なかなか出てこなかったのが 寒くて困った。また、お部屋の暖房が 効かなくて寒かった。わたしの操作の仕方が 悪いのかもしれません。
