Important Information
- The seasonal pool will be open from March 20 to November 30.
- Pool access available from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Reservations are required for spa treatments. Reservations can be made by contacting the hotel prior to arrival, using the contact information on the booking confirmation.
- Children 5 years old and younger stay free when occupying the parent or guardian's room, using existing bedding.
- Only registered guests are allowed in the guestrooms.

The ocean views are stunning, especially during sunrise and sunset, and the property is beautifully designed to blend modern luxury with nature. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the sea. Staff members were consistently kind, professional, and attentive, making the stay feel effortless. The pools and beach area were well maintained and never felt overcrowded. Breakfast offered a good variety of fresh and delicious options. Overall, it was a perfect place to unwind, and I would love to stay here again in the future.
- きらら久 (10/5): 最高の滞在でした - 沖縄を訪れるのは5回目ですが、初めてハイアットリージェンシー瀬良垣を利用しました。 歩いても5分とかからない距離ですが、トゥクトゥクでお出迎えしてくださり、快適かつ気分が上がりました。 チェックインもスムーズで、丁寧に案内してくださいました。クリスマスだったので、綺麗なクリスマスツリーが飾られており、サンタクロースにも会えました。 今回宿泊したのは、ツインのお部屋でした。清掃が行き届いており、お部屋のインテリアも明るく、水周りも綺麗で使いやすかったです。シャワーヘッドがReFaのもので、嬉しかったです。浴槽も広く快適でした。そして、バルコニーからの景色と波の音、風が心地よく、リラックスすることが出来ました。 利用した館内施設は、屋内プール、ジャグジー、スチームサウナ、ジムです。プールは夜20時頃と、朝9時頃に利用しましたが、どちらの時間帯も2-3組程度の利用だったので、混み合わず楽しむことが出来ました。 大浴場はありませんが、屋内プールやジャグジーで、ゆっくり過ごしました。ジムはそこまで大きな規模ではありませんが、24時間利用できることがありがたかったです。 朝食はビュッフェスタイルで、洋食、和食、沖縄料理など多くのメニューがありました。特に、目の前で調理してくださる、あぐー豚のステーキ、エッグベネディクト、オムレツが絶品でした。野菜やフルーツも新鮮でした。飲み物も種類が豊富でした。自家製の野菜ジュースが美味しかったです。 1泊2日では足りないくらい素敵な滞在になりました。沖縄に来る機会があれば、またぜひ利用します。

- 622maxamedd (10/5): Incredibly beautiful and luxurious hotel - The Hotel: This was one of the most incredible resort experiences I have ever had. We stayed in a Seaside King Room and the view was stunning. Every morning felt unreal when looking out over the water. From our room we also had a beautiful view of the coral reef and the clear blue sea which made the whole experience even more special. The resort is very large and feels like its own small island with beaches, paths and beautiful areas everywhere. You can easily spend several days without ever needing to leave the property. Transportation from the airport was simple. Even though we arrived late we were still able to take a bus that stops right at the entrance of the resort. For guests who want to explore the Onna area there are daily buses and the option to rent a car. The service throughout the hotel was consistently impressive. At reception, M. Yoshida was very helpful and welcoming. Restaurants: Teppanyaki: This became one of the highlights of our stay. We were served by W. Sun who took excellent care of us and made the entire dinner feel special. A very big shout out to Chef Yuichi Osanai whose skill and precision were incredible to watch. Seeing him cook felt like watching a performance and the food was amazing. Robata: We had a wonderful dinner here as well. Our server Davies elevated the entire experience with his service, personality and attention to detail. Bar Restaurant: We visited the bar restaurant several times. Albert was very kind and helped us take a memorable photo. P. MC provided great service and made each visit feel welcoming. Regency Club: Our mornings at the Regency Club became one of the best parts of the trip. Chef Ali Tkel deserves a special shout out. He was a highlight of every morning and left an incredible impression. He is charismatic, warm and extremely skilled. Make sure to ask for a medium or well done omelet and enjoy watching him work his magic. We were also warmly welcomed by Regency Club Manager Masaki Funabashi as well as Hongyan He and H. Lee who provided kind and attentive service throughout our stay. Activities: Me and my wife tried kayaking and the experience was great. - billmspg (10/5): Wonderful Island Resort Getaway - My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island. The staff was cordial, and helpful, and the service felt personal. The hotel rooms were nicely appointed, the view of the sea was stunning. The hotel's 4? pools were fun, clean, and in excellent shape. The small private beach cove felt very safe to swim in and was well managed. Breakfast in the club room was memorably good, and the chef remembered our family. Prices for everything at the hotel were very reasonable. I'd call this a favorite stay in Okinawa.
- cjigga (8/5): Overall good, but quality of dining is not up to par - Our room was comfortable and we chose this hotel because they had pool/beach open in early November, unlike a lot of other resorts. So we were pleased to make use of those features. We booked a Club access room and all the staff there were very nice. They partner with a local car rental agency and it was very convenient to rent a car there vs. having to travel to another office. (And we were able to return the car to a different location.) Everything was good, except for on site restaurants. We wanted to relax and maximize time on property and so we ate all of our meals there. Next time I'd eat elsewhere, setting aside the famous breakfast French toast.

The food was delicious at all of the restaurants we tried. The bar drinks were yummy as well. This location is beautiful but I will caution that there is not much nearby and it's an hour's drive from the airport. It completely worked for us as all we wanted to do was enjoy the resort for our whole vacation.

Even though there were no waves (really calm waters), you couldn't swim beyond a small, shallow area that was roped off. You can't just rent a kayak or paddle board and go out in the water, you have to have a "guide" go with you. If you're over 60, you need a dr's note saying its OK to participate in water activities.

This one doesn’t make the grade. Room/View This is the best feature of the hotel. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. The views in most of the hotel with ocean - which is magnificent. Pool There are two pools in the property outside and one inside. Outside: One salt water and one regular. We are here in August and pools are overcrowded. Simply stated they are too small for the property itself. Poor design. There are not enough beds by the pool for everyone. Not sure if this is situation now - what happens during high season. Beach Very disappointing, small and really unable To swim and take advantage of what otherwise is a superb nature. The water is clear but the property is limiting the swim area such that it makes it difficult to swim in. And again - overcrowded. Service This is by far the biggest issue at this property. No one speaks / understands English. And while I understand that I am in Japan , I also travel throughout the world and in Japan and this is the first property where I have ever encountered such brazen disregard for spoken English. As a result, a lot of things take a ton of time and make for difficult experience - like restaurant ordering, room service, etc. This takes a lot of time and energy. Should not be that way. Additionally staff is not looking to be helpful - as was the case in the rest of Japan. It is very rigid and not hospitable. Big disappointment. Finally- for families with kids there is nothing here to do. So come prepared to make fun trips, otherwise you will have to entertain your kids some other way.

I mentioned that I have Discoverist status and asked to check in at the priority check-in counter, but the front desk staff did not seem to recognize this benefit and I was asked to queue with other guests. Additionally, I had requested early check-in in advance, but upon arrival, I was told that no rooms were available unless I paid an additional fee for an ocean view room at 1PM. This was unexpected and not the level of service I anticipated as a loyal World of Hyatt member. I had no option but pay the extra fee as we were tired from our flight. Other than this, the overall experience were satisfactory. About half of the staying guests were non-Japanese Asians, the other half Japanese. There were some guests from Europe and the US.
- MartinWoj (6/5): Bring a Suitcase Full of Food and Wine – Or Stay Elsewhere - As a loyal Hyatt guest, it pains me to write this, but this property may well be the weakest link in the chain. I suspect this review will drown under a sea of glowing five-star posts (some suspiciously in-house), but here are the facts. Check-In: We were welcomed with an offer: a ¥2000 F&B credit if we agreed to have our room cleaned every other day. An odd first impression of “resort hospitality,” but we accepted. Dining Disaster: At 6pm we headed to the all-day dining. Fully booked. The earliest table: 8:45pm. Guest Services confirmed all three venues were at capacity. We eventually secured a table on the condition we vacate within 45 minutes. The food took 25 minutes to arrive, was bland, rushed, and in the case of the pizza, undercooked with what tasted like canned tomato sauce. Even a staff member admitted they were “overwhelmed and unprepared.” Breakfast wasn’t better. At 7:30am I was asked for a “booking code.” Turns out you need a ticket from a machine outside. Mine said “27 people ahead.” After a 30-minute wait, another 10 minutes standing while they arranged the bill (breakfast was not included). Once seated, I discovered it was fully self-service - no drink orders. Lunch? Booked out. Dinner reservations? Only 8pm or later. For a 350+ room resort, this level of F&B chaos is unacceptable. Facilities: The beach is tiny, facing a bridge and an apartment block. The pool has a decent view but feels cramped. Watersports? Fully booked, according to fellow guests. The hotel is simply not equipped for the number of guests it accepts. Location & Convenience: Being remote, you’d expect some amenities. Instead, the nearest shop is a 25-minute walk. Local restaurants? Reservations required. No shuttle service. No on-site bike rentals (only via app if you have a Japanese number). Why basic mobility isn’t provided is baffling. In-Room & Other Annoyances: No coffee machine unless requested. An overpriced shop with a poor selection. Everything screams: “We’re full and the location is remote - take it or leave it.” The Verdict: This isn’t a one-off bad night; it’s systemic. A glaring operational failure caused by inadequate F&B capacity and poor guest experience planning. Guests were visibly frustrated. Unless you plan to bring your own food, wine, and snacks, prepare to be disappointed. The Silver Lining: Huge respect to the frontline staff - front office, housekeeping, F&B. They were visibly overworked, sometimes even embarrassed, yet remained polite and helpful.
- Synne83 (8/5): Nice hotel, but too expensive for what you get in return - The room was large, nice and clean. But the beds were rock hard and we didn't get a good night's sleep. We asked if the hotel had a mattress topper for the beds so that it would be possible to get some sleep. They didn't, but the maid turned the mattress over because it was supposed to be softer on the other side. It wasn't. In addition, the 15% service tax on everything is quite annoying. Just state what things actually cost, and it's much easier for both guests and employees. The employees was always like «this is the price, but in additional you must add 15%». You're not in the USA now, imposing an extra service charge on absolutely everything (both food, experiences and other things) is just annoying for the guests (maybe not Americans). In addition, more "service" is expected at the pool or beach when you actually pay the service charge. You should then be able to take orders at the tables outside or at the beach chairs, and not have to clean up cups and plates after yourself. The area around the hotel is nicely designed, but the beach is far too small and cannot be used at low tide (only for small children as it gets so shallow). The hotel offers many different activities such as snorkeling, kayaking and jet skiing, among other things. The hotel was very nice on a beautiful island, but unfortunately we will probably not stay at this hotel again if we come back. We had a rental car and ended up driving to other beaches that were much nicer. There you could snorkel with nice fish right on the shore. We tried a snorkeling trip with the hotel, but it cost quite a lot of money (+15% service charge) and it did not last long.

While certain aspects of the stay were delightful, especially the Regency Club service, private beach, and dining at Shirakachi Robata, there were a few concerns around service quality in other restaurants, gym facilities, and limited nearby activities. Pros: Convenient Access: Approx. 1-hour drive from Naha Airport. Highly recommend pre-booking a Hiace van (¥20,000 for 4 adults with luggage) through the hotel. Exceptional Arrival Experience: Warm welcome; bags taken curbside; personal check-in by "Lee" at the 3rd floor Regency Club within 15 minutes, truly seamless. Comfortable Rooms: Ocean View Suite was spacious with a great balcony, perfect for families. Regency Club Access: Complimentary breakfast (7–10am) and happy hour (5–7pm) daily. “Lee,” concierge staff “Z Wang” & “N Ishi,” and chefs “Ali” & “Jotoro” provided truly personal and courteous service—especially toward our children. Shirakachi Robata Restaurant: Excellent dining experience, where chefs prepare food at the center grill, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. Food was delicious, and the service was very welcoming. A special bonus: fireworks from a neighboring hotel across the bay could be seen from the balcony each evening, an unexpected delight that thrilled the kids! Spa Experience: Holistic 60-min massage by “M Tanaka” was outstanding. Facilities: Saltwater pool was never overcrowded. Poolside service by “Takara” was fantastic. Private beach with activities like Mighty Duck & Banana Boat was safe and fun for kids. Clean, modern self-service laundry room (no detergent needed; QR code-based). Hot tubs, steam room, and indoor pool provided great relaxation. Rental Car Convenience: Orix brought the car directly to the hotel. Straightforward process without need for ETC pass. Cons: Remote Location: Very little in the immediate area, just a small shop 10 mins away. A rental car is necessary. Limited On-Site Store Selection: Minimal variety for Western travelers (e.g. snacks/drinks). Dining Issues: Cucina (Italian): Extremely poor service. Waited 25+ mins for water/drinks. Major language barrier (Google Translate used). Serale (Buffet): Lunchtime buffet disappointing; staff lacked training and English skills. Gym: Small, outdated, with only 3 treadmills. Not suited to a resort of this size. Cabana Safety Concern: Flimsy build not suited to Okinawa’s winds; part collapsed near child. Hotel did remove charge for that day. Lack of Entertainment: No daytime poolside events or evening lobby activities. Kids' club appeared underwhelming with little engagement. Final Verdict: Hyatt Regency Seragaki Island offers warm hospitality and serene oceanfront relaxation, especially with Regency Club access and the standout Shirakachi Robata dining experience. However, its remote location and inconsistent service in other areas may disappoint travelers expecting a polished international standard. With a rental car and the right expectations, it can still be an enjoyable family getaway—especially for those who value peace, personalized service, and beautiful views.

Food was divine, albeit if you are after a budget experience this is not the hotel for you. We stayed at the beach house which was well appointed, aesthetically appealing and clean. The Beach house apartments are a short walk to the main hotel (where reception and restaurants are) or there is an electric car that is always available to take you back and forth. Two beaches make up this hotel as well- which are lovely. An excellent stay!
- mitchellhK4084XM (6/5): Just “OK” - Not Great - Let’s start with what was good about the hotel: - Excellent steak house and Italian restaurants - Great breakfast buffet - Lots of pools especially for the kids - Good beaches to swim in the ocean Now what wasn’t so good: - It’s an hour’s drive from Naha so if you stay here, you’re not doing the aquarium etc - it’s all too far away - We had a 2 bedroom suite in the Beach House complex. It was tiny. The kitchen was empty and useless. - Kids club is open at random times and it’s VERY expensive ($50 per kid) to do a basic activity which only lasts 90 minutes. It’s not a kids club at all. They offer 3 activities per day which you pay for. They cancel the activities seemingly at random. - The on site store only stocks ice cream, alcohol and nuts. There were no healthy snacks (like yoghurt or fruit salad) for the kids. - We bought the best room and didn’t get club level access. I asked and had to pay $30pp for access, when we are World of Hyatt members. Overall it was fine, but it’s so far from Naha that once you’re there, you’re staying put.

- D288HWjohannas (10/5): Family oriented large beach area very clean resort mid western Okinawa - This is a large resort set on a private island in the Onno area mid island on the west side. The amenities are excellent in terms of pools and outdoor areas. Rooms very clean and well appointed with a lanai to see the ocean. Each room has a view. All bathrooms have bidet seats. Firm but comfortable beds although we pushed 2 twins together to make our own king bed. Our room had a separate toilet room. The gym is large and there is a good pool area snack and drink bar. Towels provided. Aquatic activities available. Sunset can be seen when lounging in several of the infinity pools. We stayed for 2 nights and did a day trip to the aquarium (well worth it) because we had a car rental. Parking fees. Indoor lot. Slippers and robes in room. This is a major family destination resort so be prepared for many kids. Bar in lobby has limited hours and a lounge area. There are 3 restaurants but many local ones walkable for yummy options all 3 meals. I would stay again because of the outdoor pool and beach areas. Great staff as was the case all over Okinawa. Very clean everywhere. Good vibe.

Let down by the small beach and limited operating hours (pool only operated from 9am to 7pm), should really open at 6am or 7am so that can get some pool time before breakfast and stay open at night as the lighted pools are quite nice.

I found the beach was smaller than the photos had suggested and the hotel doesnt offer car rental - we had thought there was car rentals there only you need to be from Japan to rent those cars. I saw a little pile of dust/dirt behind the beds. The location is a bit remote, so you will need a car. Overall it was a good experience.

Our friends stayed in another room so we had a 1-1 comparison. Do not stay in room 672, few days later i got sick, there was definitely mold in the room (mold has a distinct smell of sweaty spice). There was also mold on the ceiling of the gym next to the air vent.

- Kyoko (8/5): - Overall it was a nice stay. We arrived around 9pm. They had a free transportation between the parking garage and the main entrance. The parking fee was 1000 Japanese yen per night total 3000 yen for the stay. We chose “eco-friendly house keeping”. It saved us 3000 yen. The girl who helped our check-in was very friendly and well knowledgeable. The room was clean and comfortable. We received a bottle of sparkling wine for free which I didn’t know. It was a nice surprise for us. Housekeepings we met in a hallway and the one who cleaned the room were friendly with respect to us. Food was excellent at the breakfast buffet with many choices. I did checked out early in the morning as I was suggested so we can avoid the checking out waiting line. The person who did it went over each charges with me and explained good. The only thing I can say negative about the hotel was the waiting time for the breakfast. We were told that we had to wait for at least 30 minutes. There were many empty tables right outside of the restaurant so I guess they had short staff against many customers. We spoke to the person who was in charge of the place and we were able to get a table.
- Juyeon (10/5): 오키나와 시골느낌버젼 ㅎ - 정말 조용하고 조용하다 방도 크고 발코니도 이쁨 그리고 서비스로 준 샴페인 넘나 맛남 수영장도 너무 이쁘고 바다도 너무 이쁘고 비만 안왔다면 더 좋았을듯 하지만 주변은 안하는 가게 망한가게도 많고 편의점도 멀어서 호텔에서만 먹어야할곳 호텔 자체는 완벽 !!!!

We also had the chance to go on a snorkeling tour, and it was absolutely amazing! - 271isaack (10/5): Great early Sring break holiday - Went on a short trip during school spring break, we were upgraded to a Harbor View Suite, which was amazing. The location of the hotel iamgreat for resort activities as well as a base for exploring the middle and Northern part of Okinawa. I enjoyed the club lounge cocktail hour as well as the breakfast (both the lounge and the main restaurant). Only thing to mention was that as a Globalist, I had hoped parking fees would be waived, but that was not the case. (But the fees were reasonable)

- 205kyl (10/5): Best Getaway Destination in Japan - We came here for a getaway trip and this was fantastic! We had a bit of delay with our flight and missed the airport bus we wanted to take, but a taxi trip from the airport to the hotel was pretty convenient (and it caught up with the airport bus we missed). The pool area was fantastic just for resting. The view from the hotel was unmatched. and of course the room itself was so comfortable. This hotel will definitely be our choice again if we want to spend some relaxing time again in Okinawa!

- ArrowTurbo (6/5): Good resort hotel with poor breakfast offering. - Absent of premium coffee machine and tea bags choices make this hotel more like a 2 star. Generic coffee and tea offered in various flasks make you feel like in a workers canteen. Worst they not even offer hot water service if you want to bring your own premium tea. As a 4 star hotel in Japan, they not even offer Green tea bag at breakfast. In this respect, Doubletree Hilton Naha and Nikko Alivilla offered almost a 5 star experience at breakfast. Italian restaurant make your pasta more salty than reasonable even though you requested for less salt. It shows the chef doesn't taste the sample before it went to guest. As a resort hotel, they should offer free bath salt. Quite a number of friendly and helpful staff especially Mr.Park at Cucina Serale and Miss Park who sent us to our room when check-in. Other than dissappointment at breakfast the Ocean view room was clean and in excellent condition. Nice location on a lagoon setting for a resort hotel. Just a few and easy tune up to make this hotel truly 4 star.

- JasonB2727 (2/5): Garbage Fees Unacceptable - I went to book this hotel, and at the end there was a garbage "service fee" added to the total. As a Hyatt Globalist, I get resort fees waived, but these thieves simply renamed the resort fee to a service fee, and they stole an extra couple hundred dollars from me. Unacceptable. I spend a lot of money at Hyatts every year to get these advertised benefits, and then an unscrupulous hotel like this comes along and finds a way to snatch those benefits away. Shame on you! My only recourse is to write this review and let the world know
