Location on 16th St was very convenient. This hotel advertises on boardwalk, and one building is on boardwalk. Our building was across the street. I feel it was not advertised clearly. Also, there is an air freshener throughout the buildings, which is nice but extremely strong, giving me a headache from the overwhelming smell.

Not having adjusted breakfast hours to accommodate a large number of team families specifically staying at this hotel for a tournament, was not acceptable.

We made some time for the boardwalk, game rooms and Trimper's rides. and I had $117 to spend on Fisher's popcorn. The water was cold but the 9 year old got in everyday.

• sandysH3909ZL (10/5): Hyatt Place Oceanfront Ocean City Great Place to Visit with Pets - This was our first stay at Hyatt Place Ocean City Oceanfront. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for people who like to travel with their precious dog. This is one of the nicest hotels that we have stayed at that have ocean front rooms and allows pets. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. Olivia, the front desk staff, was warm, welcoming, friendly and helpful. All staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful, and all requests were quickly provided. We enjoyed the balcony, which has walls between the other balconies to provide privacy. We will definitely consider staying at the Hyatt Place Oceanfront when visiting Ocean City again.

• texasgypc (10/5): Superior customer service! - We arrived 3 hours ahead of check-in and met Martesha. We had 2 rooms reserved and we able to check in to one. Both were ocean front as desired. Our other travelers were unable to make the trip due to car break down. Martesha was extremely helpful in getting our second room refunded. Experian was not. From now on I have learned to book with hotel. They will help much faster. Every time I was near the check-in I could see and hear Martesha helping people. One day we missed breakfast and she went back and fixed us a plate. When we checked out she assured me she would keep working towards getting our refund from experian. Over an hour away from town I realized I left a ring my granddaughter gave me. I called and Martesha answered the phone. I told her where i thought I left it. She said she would send someone to look for it I called back in 15 minutes and they had found it. She told me how I could get it back. 4 days later I got it back. Customer service is so important when traveling and can make or break a trip. Martesha exemplifies customer service perfectly. She smiles and helps every person graciously.

The room is overall clean but i found 3 cockroaches in the second night stay which was scary.......

• lellis34 (10/5): Good experience, would stay again. - Wanted a quick weekend getaway and this hotel was perfect. We don't typically interact with the staff beyond check in, so not much to offer here except that the front desk was quick, informative, and nice. The hotel is located right on the boardwalk and there are good restaurants at the hotels on either side. In this hotel there was a pizza restaurant that we highly recommend - food & drinks were great. There was a little wear and tear in the bathroom, specifically tile grout seemed to be chipping outside of the shower, but really minor. The bathroom was clean and well stocked and I appreciated that they had a non slip mat for the shower (located on the shelf of the vanity). Overall a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to return.

I want to sit on the balcony or leave the sliding door open to listen to the ocean waves without having your skunkweed stinking up my space! Room is great. Clean. Paying to park is a pain. Breakfast was included and had a great selection. Staff is friendly.

Trash filled dining room, breakfast food wasn't accommodated timely do to staff shortage. Last year and this year stay had no bacon or turkey bacon the entire stay each morning. It was always sausages links or kabasi... breakfast potatoes were under cooked everyday but the last day of our stay.

• Taylar (9/5): - Our room was great! Martesha at the front desk was so very helpful and kind during our stay. The indoor pool was also great for the kids and we loved that towels were provided at the pool. The only area that has room for improvement is the breakfast. I think the staff was doing their absolute best to keep up with demand but it felt very poorly organzied. When we arrived at 830 am, there was no food available, no plates or silverware available. I did see staff working hard to communicate needs for refills of breakfast items. However the milk, fruit and juices were never refilled.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was so enjoyable that we wished we had more time to just hang out in the room. We will definitely stay again during our next getaway trip to OC.
• Joan (7/5): Disappointing for a Hyatt and the price. - The location is perfect. It’s easy to park and enter with bags. The room was very clean. The heating/ac blower in the room had a whining pitch that was so annoying, we turned it off until we were so miserable, we turned it back on. Sitting in the lobby in the evening, no front desk attendants came out when a loud group of people entered and were obviously looking for help. At breakfast, the bread was moldy and the milk was sour.

• kelleavent (10/5): Can't Wait to Return - Our stay was 9/10. Our requests for an ocean front room on a high floor were provided to perfection. We requested a crib which was pretty stained and dirty, so we chose not to use it. However, just bring a pack and play for the baby, gather your family and head down. The location was perfect for evening strolls, plenty affordable options for dining. Because it's not beach season it wasn't crowded and fairly quiet. The natural sounds of crashing waves at night were the star of the show.
• thand_s2026 (10/5): Great Hotel - Oceanfront room weekend visit. With all your basic amenities and more. Location is perfect. Parking & breakfast were free. We visited off season from what I understand parking is usually $10 daily during peak season from April 1st. From check-in to check-out staff were very accommodating.
