Location is great, though Tropea is small so you’re never too far away. There is also secure parking which was necessary for us. There is also a very good ice cream place below the property. Noi siamo da due anni che soggiorniamo da "I Gioielli" e possiamo consigliarlo a chiunque voglia fermarsi nella perla del Tirreno. Bellissimo terrazzino in comune con vista cittá/vista mare, perfetto per sorseggiare un buon calice di Ciró o una birra artigianale nostrana. Vogliamo ringraziare il signor Pasquale per la sua accoglienza e disponibilitá. A presto.

- Laura (10/5): - The location and the appartament was excellent! Perfect if you are looking for a real Italian style and experience. The roof terrace was very cosy and you could hear the night life from there but at the same time enjoy the view towards the hills and seaside. The host was very friendly and gave us a lot of information and recommendations. We will definitely come back if we will travel to Tropea again. And, by the way, just under our apartment there was the best Gelateria if not in whole Italy, in Tropea for sure. Huge recommendations!

Il est extrêmement étroit et il faut constamment déplacer les véhicules des autres vacanciers pour sortir notre voiture. Ce qui peut donner lieu à des situations fâcheuses.
- Johlene (10/5): We spend 3 weeks in Italy and this was by far our best experience. - Tropea exceeded all my expectations. The most beautiful, bluest sea I’ve ever seen. It’s a truly authentic Italian village where you can get lost in the charming little streets. The locals are incredibly hospitable. Our accommodation was perfect – very central and within walking distance of everything. It had everything we needed to have the best time in Tropea. The host was exceptionally kind and gave us great recommendations. In the evenings, we enjoyed a glass of wine and played cards on the rooftop terrace – it was absolutely special Just a note – you’re staying in the heart of a vibrant little village, so it’s important to understand that the streets can be lively, especially in the evenings. Light sleepers might find it a bit challenging, but for us, it was part of the charm and energy of the place. The price includes breakfast, which is typically Italian – a croissant of your choice and a coffee. For us, it was perfect. Just don’t expect a big spread with sausages, eggs, and cold meats. Simplicity is the norm here, and it fits beautifully with the relaxed pace of the town. All in all, a lovely experience with local flair, and we would definitely return!

The location is perfect - one minute away from the pedestrianised area and all the shops, cafés and restaurants. Great aircon too. The bed was very comfortable (we stayed for six nights).We found free parking spaces, but you have to go hunting for them. The optional extra of keeping your car in a garage beneath the apartment is handy. It's a well-run place. Nothing.

- Kerry (10/5): Truly a "Jewel" - A lovely accommodation, one minute from the main street. Beautifully presented, it even had a private rooftop terrace where we sat with a bottle of wine! The Manager, Pasquale, welcomed us with a shot of a local liqueur. He was incredibly helpful, and we kept bumping into him in town, and he even took time out to walk us to particular places in town. A huge plus - piping hot, consistent shower 🚿 👌 High recommendation. No complaints.

Our apartment was very spacious, and it even included a washing machine. The bathroom was a good size, and the shower had great water pressure. Breakfast is in a lovely cafe, just a few steps from the apartment. Everything thing we tried was delicious. Our host was friendly, helpful, and very kind. There was an issue with the Wifi when we arrived. We notifed our host, and the problem was quickly rectified. The level of service is stellar.

The shared balcony was our favourite part of the accommodation and Pasquale is very accomodating. Facilities more than enough for just the two of us, everything we needed in the kitchen even some coffee and tea, sugar, oil, salt, although we really didn’t cook! But it was very nice to have all this available. Good shower, big bathroom with some toiletries. Pasquale was very attentive and provided all the information we needed. Nice terrace available. Parking was a big plus! (Paid separately but definitely worth it as we didn’t use the car at all while there). Wish we could have stayed longer, would repeat if in Tropea again! Thanks! Nothing, everything was great!

- Suellen (10/5): A real jewel in a fantastic town. - Location, location, location. Right on the edge of the old town of Tropea and 40 m to the Main Street. Fabulous roof terrace with views. Underground parking garage which in these old towns is fantastic. Pasquale is helpful and available in reception for most of the day and was able to recommend restaurants and things to do. Kitchen is small but you can self cater. Secure, electronic access to courtyard and apartment door. Tropea had a great atmosphere. Nothing to not like but the advertising doesn’t mention that there is a reception area so Pasquale is around the morning and afternoon to facilitate checkin and checkout. We would have been less worried about parking and waiting etc if we had known ahead that he was onsite.

The upstairs deck is wonderful to sit and enjoy the view. Pasquale and Sami were wonderful. They are always on hand to assist and were so kind and helpful to us when we had a minor incident with our car. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay n this gorgeous town.

- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - The host Pasquale was exceptional. From the initial communication before our arrival and on the day we Pasquale helped make our stay effortless. The residents are basically in the town with secure and tidy rooms. We had an allocated car space in a secure garage for our rental and a deck above our room so that we could eat breakfast with a view. Pasquale even helped us out with finding the best places to eat in Tropea. All in all I would definitely recommend staying at Residenza I Gioielli and thank you Pasquale Odd place for the tv to be in the kitchen and not the bedroom but really why would you be watching tv when you have all the sights to see in Tropea
- Anonymous (8/5): A cute, comfortable apartment in scenic Tropea. - We enjoyed our stay at Residenza I Gioielli for two nights at the end of November. Pasquale was very accommodating and easy to get ahold of when we needed assistance with the heat. We appreciated the gift of wine and secure parking that was offered. The apartment was clean, comfortable and secure. Although we were travelling in off -season, we found the prices of the accommodations and food to be high. We had to walk to the town square for the included breakfast which consisted of a croissant and coffee.
- Raymond (10/5): Perfect location, Wonderful accomodations - Breakfast was served at a local restaurant just steps away from the apartment. We were given a choice of morning meals and they served as late as 11:30am... which was very nice as there were times when we slept in. The staff at "Tomate" were kind and considerate, the meals were fresh, quickly served and delicious. The bed is very firm yet is typical to Italy and we expected the extra firmness. Linens were fresh, clean and soft.
- Marian (10/5): Loved our stay at this fabulous property. It ticked all the boxes. - Pasquale was a great host. He communicated with us prior to our stay and met us upon our arrival. He pointed out places of interest and recommended good places to eat. Breakfast, via voucher was at a local cafe with a number of choices including croissants, yoghurts and eggs from friendly staff. The apartment was very spacious with comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. The location was fabulous, being just a short tuk tuk/ taxi ride or a 15 minute walk to the railway station and close to the beaches, shops and mini supermarkets. The apartment was very quiet and we particularly loved the shared upstairs balcony accessed via a spiral staircase. All staff including the cleaners and reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing.
- Francois (10/5): we would highly recommend this property because it is central ,also you would need a minimum of 4 nights to enjoy Tropea - everything was great !! in the center of everything!! most importantly the staff always greeted us with a smile!! big thanks to Pasquale the owner for allowing us to postpone our stay 3 times for free ,from 2020 to 2021 to 2022 due to Covid lockdown in Australia !also for making us feel so comfortable and for sharing all the best restaurants within walking distance, free and safe car park is also available… all great
- Laurent (9/5): Beautiful and well situated - very close to everything but yet not in the middle of the night life (only 50 ft from Main Street. Which was perfect for us. We had our privacy.
