• Melanie (10/5): - Tolle Lage am Rande des historischen Zentrums, in wenigen Gehminuten erreicht man das Zentrum. Perfekt, wer mit dem Auto nach Tropea, reist, da der Parkplatz inklusive ist. Leckeres, herzhaftes Frühstück mit selbstgebackenem Kuchen direkt auf der eigenen Terrasse serviert. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Sehr, sehr herzliche Familie.
• Jean-Marie (8/5): Super-vriendelijk onthaal, zeer goed ontbijt geserveerd op het terras van de kamer ! - Supervriendelijke host, top ontbijt dat werd opgediend op het terras van de kamer, goede en veilige on-site parkeerplaats voor de auto, locatie zeer goed en op wandelafstand van het historisch centrum van Tropea. De badkamer/douche heeft renovatie nodig. De douche werkte zeer slecht, de kranen zijn zo goed als defect.

• jutta (10/5): Il Barone - ein fürstlicher Aufenthalt ;>)) - Der herzliche Empfang, die gute Betreuung, das leckere Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit immer frischen, leckerem Kuchen. Und für uns zum Frühstück frische Eier mit Käse und Schinken- was ja sonst nicht dem italienischen Frühstück entspricht! Wir wären gerne noch länger geblieben. Beste Empfehlung ;>)) Gibt es nichts zu bemängeln.

La colazione è ottima e servita sul terrazzo della propria camera all'ora desiderata. La struttura è in una posizione molto comoda per raggiungere il centro storico a piedi ed è dotata di parcheggio privato. Tutto è perfettamente pulito.

Lo staff è stato gentilissimo e disponibile a soddisfare le ns richieste. Colazione privata in camera abbondante e di ottima qualità soprattutto le torte preparate in casa dalla proprietaria. • Zhannat (10/5): Exceptional - I had the most wonderful stay at Villa Il Barone in Tropea and I can confidently say it’s one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed in. First of all – it’s super clean, which for me is extremely important when choosing a place to stay. Every corner of the house was spotless and well taken care of. The villa itself is absolutely stunning – truly one of the most beautiful houses in Tropea. It has this peaceful, elegant charm that makes you feel both cozy and spoiled at the same time. But what truly made my stay special was Rosella. She is incredibly polite, kind and fun! I was arriving late in the evening, alone and a bit nervous, and she kindly offered to meet me at the train station – something I appreciated more than words can say. On my departure day, she also dropped me off at the station so I didn’t have to walk with my bags. Small gestures like these made a huge difference and made me feel very safe and cared for. I’m super happy with my stay and I’m definitely coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tropea – you won’t regret it! N/a

The bathroom has three things that need fixing: mold on the shower grout, filter problems on the soaking tub, and a big patch of peeling paint.

• Daniel (10/5): Best place to stay in Tropea! - This place is a gem and must stay for visiting Tropea. Very centrally located, just a short walk to the historic center and beaches, with a wonderful view of the old town in front of the sea. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and the large terraces and added bonus. But the best part are the proprietors and the staff. So friendly, warm and welcoming; readily available and helpful. Each morning at the choosing of our time a wonderful, home made breakfast of fresh eggs, prosciutto, and vegetables accompanied by pastries, home made cake, fresh fruit and yogurt as well as coffee and tea - all served on your terrace to enjoy with the view. Next time we are in Tropea we will stay here again. One of the best experiences we have ever had at a great price. Nothing, everything was perfect.

The location was perfect; central to the historic district without being in the thick of things. Rosella's breakfast was excellent, eggs, cornetto, coffee, fruit, bread, ham and a sweet homemade by Rosella every day, such as apple cake or tiramasu. Rosella was attentive and helpful - directing us to an ATM, place to buy sandwiches, and a spot for dinner. She was understanding and generous when we had one extra family member join us! There was a spot for the car on their property which was a nice benefit.

The family room was spacious with a beautiful view from the terrace where they served a delicious and very generous breakfast each morning, the even kindly catered to our kids without even being asked. We were spoiled with a fresh new cake each morning too which were always delicious. The room was extremely clean and attended to daily by the housekeeper. The location was great, a short walk to town which my 4 year old could easily handle, it was nice being a few steps away out of the hustle and bustle but still central.

• Patricia (8/5): Nice hosts and great breakfast - Nice hosts — asked us what we wanted for breakfast; recommended a few restaurants; and wrapped a couple of croissants for us which we were unable to eat at breakfast. Location was pretty good — close to the old town. In order to get to the beach, one walks through the old town and then takes the stairs down to the water. The hostess brought a plentiful breakfast to the balcony of our room. checkin and checkout were smooth. Parking is available on property. We booked the room as we were arriving in Tropea, so only the garden view room was available. If we return to Tropea, I would only book the ocean view room. the room was clean with a comfortable bed and it also had a nice shower, large closet, and good towels however, it was pretty small. there was no place to work on our laptop, so we had to do so from bed. The fridge was filled with beer, wine, sodas, and water which were available for purchase at a reasonable price. Instructions asked that no personal items be placed in the refrigerator. I would have preferred a free bottle of water and space in the fridge for our own personal use. There also did not appear to be an area where one could just hang out, but that didn’t bother us.

The apartment has been cleaned daily. Very comfy beds. Close to the center. We could hear the neighbours, and anyone on the corridor. Very little space to fit the clothes, only one small wardrobe. But these are just a tiny negatives on overall great experience.

Every morning we got a homemade cake for breakfast (I regret that I did not ask for the recipe for the nociola cake :( ). Quiet area, still close to historic city centre and amazing beach (cca 7 min walk). absolutely nothing we would complain about

• Puglia (10/5): Great place to stay in Tropea with blend of authenticity and modern conveniences. - Lots to like about Villa Barone. Great location with short walk to the center of town. We had covered porch with a view of the sea and part of the town. The breakfast was outstanding with eggs, fresh fruit, beverages and pastries, served on our balcony at the time we requested. Everything worked well (including the AC) and was very clean. Rosella went out of her way to make sure everything was to our liking. Although we didn’t speak Italian, we had fun engaging with Rosella and we really enjoyed her personal touch. Highly recommend it for short or long stays.

• Vincenzo (10/5): Tranquillità e comodità a due passi dal centro - Davvero una piacevole scoperta. Camera molto bella e pulita con una vista del centro di tropea che è a due passi. Colazione fantastica e proprietari davvero gentili e cortesi. Il parcheggio interno molto comodo. Una delle migliori strutture su tropea per qualità/prezzo.
• Leilani (10/5): Best Bed and Breakfast in Tropea - Thank you for a wonderful and pleasant stay at Villa Il Barone. The location is convenient and private parking is available within the BnB. Breakfast was prepared and delivered to our room every day. The homemade pastries were delicious! The beach and city center are within 5min driving distance from the BnB. Villa Il Barone will be our first choice if we plan to return to Tropea. My only recommendation is to provide an iron in the room or to borrow for a short period.

• Petter (10/5): Petter and Anna - We hade a fantastic stay at Il Barone! The owner Rosella and her staff really made us feel like home. The room was big and clean with a very good bed and we had a fantastic view from our balcony. A very good and tastful breakfast was served to our room evert morning and we had breakfast on the balcony with a fantastic view. The b & b was close to the city so you could easily walk in to Tropea. We will definately be back. Ci vediamo dopo.
• marco (10/5): Favoloso - B&B a conduzione familiare, molto curato e pulito. La nostra stanza aveva anche una bellissima terrazza con vista su Tropea, dove ci è stata servita un ottima colazione.

Trädgård och Inhägnad parkering. Personalen hjälpsamma, trevliga och glada. Ja, vad skall man mer säga, kommer absolut att återvända.
