Robert (10/5): - I can not give enough stars. Our stay was top notch. Staff is woderful and accommodating. Everything was clean, beds are comfortable. From the pool to the 2 bars and lake you only have to walk maybe 40 ft. Huge bonfire on the beach once it got dark, drinks with the owner. How could anyone ask for more. Highly recommend!!!! We will be back!

Holly (10/5): 100/10 would recommend for ANY getaway! - 100/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!!BEST STAY, SUPER CLEAN, HANDS ON/FRIENDLY OWNERS, EASY CHECK IN, KID FRIENDLY, FOOD, POOL, ADULT BEVERAGES ALL ON SITE! If you'd like specifics, just continue reading.... Check in was incredibly easy. We were given our cabin, boat slip and trailer parking numbers via text message hours before arrival. The site map was up to date making it easy to find all the spaces. We dropped the boat in first thing, and while parking the trailer, we were met by the owner. I was practicing backing the boat trailer up. Let's just say it took me a minute. He waited patiently talking to my boyfriend as I successfully parked it, in only 4 "resets" He called me by my name, (I booked the room) he introduced himself, and asked if we were finding everything ok, or if we needed any help. We said we were good, thanked him for the effortless check in. Our cabin was very clean, had a comfortable bed, with 4 pillows (2 soft, 2 firm) towels were fluffy, hot water was hot. We had an issue being unable to connect to WiFi. I took a chance and texted the number that sent my details. To my surprise, I received a text rather promptly, informing me, they reset the routers and had tech support on the phone and they were coming out the following morning and apologized for the inconvenience. When I awoke, WiFi was working great. I didn't try the food, at either place, or the pool. But the menus looked great, people were eating and having drinks, nobody was loud or obnoxious. The pool was crystal clear, it's re balanced with chemicals and vacuumed every night. If you've read this far, I hope you consider this place for your next getaway. It's family friendly, they have some type of water "activity" going into the lake that floats, coming sometime this month. 100/10 would recommend. We do several tournaments every year, and will be returning here for every one. Only that I didn't stay longer and that was no one's fault but my own

Eastwood (10/5): Exactly What We Were Looking For - Buddy's has its own "small community" atmosphere. It has all of the amenities that we were looking for. Very friendly staff. Our room is exactly what we anticipated. We immediately booked Memorial weekend when we got home from our 4/25-4/26 visit. This is an amazing facility, all the way around. Dan (9/5): Christmas on the lake! 2024 - We were looking for a great staycation at lake of the Ozarks. And we have always heard good things about this place. It was so quiet and so perfect we decorated the cabin for Christmas and had family come over to enjoy the lake while we grilled and while it being 50° outside ! We fished on the dock and we played Christmas music! 😁 It was everything we wanted, literally in our backyard! The owners are kind, funny and helpful I There wasn't many things that I didn't like. There wasn't any shampoo. But I know we were early! There wasn't many comfortable places to sit, nor were there dressers to place our clothes.

We were only in the room to sleep, but the mattress was long overdue for a replacement. The coffee pot and cups were dirty. Renters are supposed to wash dishes before checking out, but Buddy’s could have at least checked to make sure.

Christine (5/5): Disappointed - People were nice. The grounds were ok. The pizza and hamburger and fries we had were good. The bed was comfortable. The place was clean. Not really what you'd call a "resort". We couldn't park where we were supposed to due to a "broken down" truck in the way. Everything shut down before its scheduled time except the lounge. No vending machines for beverages. Our TV didn't work. I called after the office closed at 5:00. I called the after-hours number, but no one came until halfway through the next morning to fix it. No coffee for the coffee maker and the convenience store closed before posted closing time, so we were unable to have coffee for the morning. Maybe all these things happened because it was Friday the 13th? We left a day early and went to another resort and just ate the cost of that 2nd night at Buddy's.

Not enough shelves in the bathroom or towel rods. Little more lighting, check for voltage that are blown out. Quiet time at 10 but the bar and gaming room I thought would be open until 11. I would prefer 11 and change your advertisements to read 10 instead of 11. Overall had a wonderful time will come back again.

The pool was great, and the bar staff was very accommodating. We hope to come back, great find! Everything met our expectations - our original cabin had an issue with the water heater and the owner, Oscar responded quickly to move us to a different cabin. Thank you!

Amber (10/5): Great place to stay - Very relaxing vibes. You can order drinks from the bar or lounge or drink your own. There were two different food options so you don't have to leave or cook. You also have options to swim in the outdoor pool or the lake. Cabin was clean and the bed was comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. Toilet paper provided could be better. I'll just bring my own next time 😉

Mary (10/5): Great place to unwind - Loved the feel of this place. Everyone we dealt with seemed on board with making this a successful resort and making every guest feel welcomed. Loved the music that was pipeded throughout the resort, a nice mix with a jazzy mix that provides a vacation soundtrack. Fishing didn't pan out but we enjoyed ourselves despite that due to the ambiance of the place.
Rea (10/5): Would recommend this resort with ground level cabins that walk out to even ground walking to the lake and pool. - Staff and owner very nice and willing to make our stay perfect. Homemade pizza at the restaurant was wonderful! It's just personal preference...probably liked the openness and view of the lake better before Silo, but others probably really enjoy the Silo bar.

Kathy (10/5): Best place at the entire Lake Of The Ozarks. - This was my second time staying at Buddys Harbor and the entire staff and the facilities are the best I’ve seen anywhere at the lake of the Ozarks. I would highly recommend you and your family stay at Buddys Harbor. It’s the perfect location, the best lakefront cabin. The best pizza at the Lake Of The Ozarks, the most fun I’ve ever had and I’ve been going to the lake ever since the early 1960s. I can only imagine what it’s like in the spring and summer! Can’t wait to find out the spring. I liked every single thing.

Cabins are a great alternative to a ho - Location, relaxing environment, easy going hosts, parking right outside your cabin, quality accommodation, craft beers and wood fired pizza oven. Can’t think of anything. I visited just out-of-season so things such as the pool and waterfront bar were closed, but I was aware of this before booking.

This place comes as close to feeling like home as you can get. Sitting by the lake, you could watch the fish jumping in the water. Griffin (7/5): Weekend Get Away - If it were warmer I think it would of been a lot more fun. It was 50's and kinda rainy. It was our first stay so for sure I would bring more food. Our cabin was in the back so we had no view. That was kind of a downer. But it was quiet and across the street was a place to take the dog to run. The owners are nice and down to earth. Bar and pizza was a fun hang-out and met some really nice people. We will come back when it is warmer and enjoy the outside areas. Cabin had no view and mattress was hard. Weekend Get Away
Heriberto (10/5): Great place. - Perfect distance from my jobsite, plus it's very relaxing sitting on the porch with the lakeside view. Very relaxing after a day of hard work. Small shower stall, but not the end of the world. Water pressure was great.
Kathy (10/5): Best Lake Of The Ozarks trip ever - From the moment I pulled in, I loved the location and setting. So did my service dog Bodri, my 9 yr old Hungarian puli. The place is amazing with so much to do. Never short on any activity. Oscar, Jeff and Cory were all amazing, helpful, and Jeff makes the best pizza I’ve ever tasted here at the lake. I can’t wait to come back with my sister and stay in cabin number 10 again. It’s got the perfect view of the swimming pool and the entire cove! I liked everything!!

The one complaint is that back to nature meant ants in our cabin. Other guests seemed to be ok in that regard. I guess we were just lucky that way.
Nikki (2/5): - I love the location of this property I have been coming here for 8 years with my family every year multiple times BUT the owners have changed and the new owners are controlling and follow you around, (The woman specifically) We had a friend come over for a birthday party and he was handicapped and the owner said I hope you blow yourself up because he was standing by the grill and she got in his face and asked him who are you here with not knowing he was handicapped she screamed in his face ( ive never met anyone so rude and disrespectful) everyone saw it. Care more about making money then actually providing good customer service. Very impersonable. They have changed everything check out time is earlier now and they came up with a million rules it doesn't have the original feel and family like atmosphere. Additions and rules for there own personal gain. You will be bothered and watched all day. Pay a high price for a day and half so I would expect to be left alone. We always clean the room extra spotless and respectful to property! I think there is potential if they let people get their moneys worth and back off a little and just be respectful and kind! very simple.!!!!!

Rebecca (9/5): Friendly and knowledgeable staff, clean accommodations, and great location; we loved it! - Property has a great location, friendly staff, and although we went during an off-season, still had fun exploring and fishing. Our cabin was clean and cozy, and had stove/pans/dishes/utensils for us to make dinner. :) They were working on upgrades at the property, and it had just rained, so it was a bit muddy, but that’s not their fault; it comes with making the property better. Our futon was broken, and we needed it in order to accommodate our sleeping needs. The bed badly sagged in the middle due to the broken frame. We found that taking the mattress off the frame and putting it on the floor made for a much better additional bed. We did not complain, the kids loved the rustic sleeping.

One area of improvement would be the up-keep of the docks including brighter lighting and overall condition. Just a fresh coat of paint would do wonders! Will return again!

It was nice to all be able to sit around the table. We brought in a couple of patio chairs and the 9 of us had plenty of room. The kids loved the pool and the swim area in the lake. I’m going to be back in 2 weeks and was a little sad that everything was booked.
Verified traveler (10/5): - This property had everything imaginable if you are wanting to go on a vacation especially if you're taking children. The property owners were so nice and we're willing to help you with everything. They were out side on site so you could find them anywhere and talk with them and ask questions. It was clean the cabins were cute. It offered canoeing boating the children loved the water trampoline they could not get enough of it. The playgrounds, every cabin they offer you a grill outside. I just can't say enough good about this experience.

I asked the manager if she had anything available with a stove. The place was pretty booked but she was able to get us another cabin. We were very thankful and we had a great time! The place is great for kids! My son loved the trampoline in the water! We will definitely be back!
