Guest Reviews
- Andrea (10/5): - The room was clean and comfortable. Check in was quick and easy. No issues at all really. We slept well and they even had a little breakfast in the morning for us.
- Shelly J. (10/5): - Adeed is one of the best people in the world. He’s so kind and straightforward. This facility deserves 20 stars!!!
- Jason (4/5): - I've stayed in cheap hotels before so I wasn't expecting a lot. The hotel looks well cared for, they even provide pre-packaged breakfast options. Price was very fair. But... man that was the worse bed my wife and I have ever slept on. It was sagging on the sides with a peak in the middle. Neither of us slept the last night we were there. Until they change out the mattress I couldn't recommend this to anyone.
- Kenny (10/5): - This was a very clean place very nice people I highly recommend 10/10
- lamar (10/5): - I enjoyed my stay clean room. Comfortable bed very relaxed atmosphere.
- SYLVESTER (10/5): - It was perfect
- Tammy (10/5): - Friendly staff and great price.
- shinnequa (10/5): - Great clean rooms
- Rhonda (10/5): - Clean rooms. Short stay… comfortable.
- Joshua (2/5): - I checked in and everything seemed fine, but I came back later to find 5 or so roaches climbing up the wall
- Vanessa (8/5): - It was nice
- Delia (10/5): - Wanted to stay in a safe area, this is it! Very nice place all the way around. Quiet, except hwy noise as morning traffic started. Bed a lil hard for my taste but ok, pillows could been better, but very pleased overall. Would recommend. Great shipping and activists a few blocks behind hotel away from hwy.
- Chelsea (8/5): - Was great. Only bad was highway sounds.
- Danielle (8/5): - Heavy traffic area, it can be difficult getting out of the parking
- Frederick (10/5): Best hotel stay ever for price! - Say that the day at this hotel was one of my best experiences in most of the hotels that I’ve been to in spring. They were very clean. The staff was very friendly. Their breakfast is amazing namebrand everything they don’t keep out on any anything that I can think of even their towels they put software on it so be ready for a soft towel. Great mattresses very good size rooms. I would tell any of my friends or family to go to this hotel in the future.
- David (8/5): Motel by definition, but named Hotel Blue - I was not excited to see it is a motel, because i prepaid, but was happy with the stay. Clean, quiet. Shower pressure good.
- davidrI347YD (6/5): Motel Blue is more correct.. - The room is tidy and clean. The issue is that this is actually a motel, doors open to parking lot directly, no secure lobby. Name actually Hotel Blue . A little deceptive.
- Emmett (10/5): - Nice place to stay, convenient location. Great value
- Kelly (6/5): - Room was extremely humid and smelled overwhelmingly of fabuloso. All of my stuff smelled like fabuloso for days. Water ankle deep during shower. No Internet.
- Joe H. (10/5): - Very clean, simple and basic. Walking distance to Dosey Doe. Good place to stay.
- Jessika (10/5): - Great stay, especially for the price. Will stay again!
- Rudolph (10/5): - We choose this because It was close to a venue we were going to. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and updated it was.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Clean and affordable - Toilet got clogged on first use with no plunger and the shower never even got warm. Room itself was nice and so was the price but honestly the cold shower at the end of the night was a disappointment.
- David (8/5): - I like the price and it was clean.
- Ms Glo (2/5): - The 8.2 rating is an absolute LIE! Walked into the room and we were me with a horrible stench. Had to spray febreeze all over the room. Opened the mini fridge, which was not working properly and it smelled of rotten/spoiled food. Restroom was dirty, hairs all over the floor. Walls are paper thin so you can hear EVERYTHING the next room is doing! This establishment has no business charging what they do per night. If you’re looking for a sketchy and dirty hotel this is the one! Rating should be -8.2
- John (8/5): - Good value. Clean and fairly modern, but not fancy, Nice sitting area for eating and watching TV. Front desk person was not friendly at all.
- John (10/5): - Clean rooms and great customer service
- Migdalia (8/5): - Only had one bath towel. Had to request more
- Richard (10/5): - Clean
- CONNIE (8/5): - Awesome customer service
- Cesar (2/5): - Sux
- Kristie (8/5): - Nice for a highway hotel.
- Jaime Vargas (10/5): - Lo que no me Gusto, que te presionan demasiado la salida eh incluso va una persona para pedir la habitación
- Marcus (8/5): - Good, low cost accommodation. Highway noise is near constant. The rooms are basic and clean , no complaints for the price.
- Joe H. (8/5): Nice - Walking distance to Dosey Doe. I liked it
- Daniel (6/5): - Everything was great EXCEPT for the fridge, ice/water machine and especially the breakfast. For the amount I paid for the room, cold coffee, empty apple and orange juice tanks, unripe fruit and not even cereal boxes or milk is a complete joke. Take note fellow consumers, that’s what happens when we let foreigners with low standards manage American businesses... 😒
- Raymond E Matis (8/5): - Room was pretty quiet, and clean. Whatever cleaner they use has a strong odor tho. Staff was polite and pleasant. The hot water in our room barely got warm, never actually hot.
Overall, it was worth the price we paid and we would stay there again.
- Mark (10/5): - This is a nice property. It is very typical of a family owned, renovated hotel that has seen some age. It is well priced for it's condition and age and minimal amenities. Very good for a one night stay on the way to somewhere else. The breakfast was coffee, juice and some packaged goods.
- Kris (10/5): - Excellent, simple hotel. We loved that it was a clean, practical hotel. If you want all the frills, this is not your place to stay!
- Marisol (10/5): - Good Location.
- James (10/5): Recent Stay - It was a night stay and I checked in late. It was smooth overall. Quiet and clean. Only complaint was the shower water was Luke warm.
- susan (10/5): - Nice place for an overnight stay. Lots of restaurants and shops in the area. Hotel personnel very nice.
- Barbara (4/5): - the traffic noise was unbearable and the second night the police were called due a loud argument between guests which included shouting, door slamming and car horn blasting
- Juan (4/5): No visitors - I knew that the low rate may make it a bit sketchy but I saw an average of 8 out of 10 so I went for it. The lady at the front counter told me that I couldn’t have any visitors which was a bit odd and almost made me turn away from the hotel.
The next morning around 4am, are car was driving around for an hour while honking incessantly. I did t see any staff coming out to tell her to stop.
Oh and the sheets were stained
Overall it was just a cheap hotel but the pics made it look so much better than what was delivered
- Trudie (8/5): - A decent hotel for a low price and only 10-15 min to The Woodlands Mall or area hospitals. Rooms are clean, beds are comfy enough, A/C works okay and gives white noise to cover freeway sounds, staff are polite and helpful.
- Randall (10/5): Nice place - Nice hotel for a great price
- Lisa (10/5): - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Blue -Woodlands ! This is a fantastic hotel that exceeded all my expectations. Its prime location made it incredibly convenient, situated right off the freeway and within walking distance to a variety of excellent restaurants. Whether I was in the mood for a casual bite or a fine dining experience, there were plenty of options just a stone's throw away.
- Micheal Scott (10/5): - It was nice enough for a quick trip
- Trudie (8/5): - Really decent hotel for the price. Tile floor, in-room mini fridge w/freezer, microwave, and coffee pot. Also has blow dryer, iron and ironing board, wifi and TV. Better towels/linens than most other hotels in this price range. All clean.
- Reagan (6/5): - Adequate for a business trip. Only real issue was the shower. It gets "hot" after twenty or more minutes. So wasteful. When I asked for maintenance or another room they said give it ten to fifteen which not even that was true.
Elsewise though no complaints. Decent location for the job I had to do and I'd consider staying again.
- Shaad (10/5): - Lots of road noise from I-45 even in back of hotel. lol hotel staff won’t leave you alone if your running a little late leaving the room. Also won’t take extensions of you stay over the in room phone. Free breakfast was kinda sub par. Just had bad microwaveable items. Juices and water at breakfast weren’t working.
- Patty (2/5): - Not a good environment
- Rhonda (8/5): - For where it is location, this property is great! Very clean with friendly, helpful staff!
- Adriana Romero (10/5): - I loved staying here,I will definitely recommend blue hotel to my friends and family
- edwin (10/5): - Had a great stay, very comfy bed and really nice room. Would definitely stay here again in future
- Sean (2/5): - Nice property with horrible beds. Bed was broken down and total crap!! I’ve stayed in bad hotels with better beds. Beware!!
- Tintu (10/5): - It was easy in and out, only the toilet seat.. it was broken and we infod they said it will be taken care of.. iHop was in walkable distance and the room is big.. our short stay was a peaceful stay.. thank you guys
- Laura (10/5): Great stay - Convenient location, polite and helpful and efficient staff. As a disabled traveler, we always appreciate quality properties that allow parking directly in front of our room. Will stay again.
- Maureen (4/5): - The reviews were good so we booked the room. We weren’t expecting anything fancy, but I guess I was at least expecting clean and comfortable. Our first room wasn’t clean at all, sticky floors and unclean counters. There was an Unidentified bug on the wall. They gave us a new room and the new one was okay, but I agree with the other review that theres a chemical smell to the rooms that I didn’t like. Also, this is NOT in the Woodlands. It’s in a sketchy area, so that was misleading. We cancelled our second night and stayed somewhere else. The staff that checked us in was nice, other than that we weren’t fans of this hotel.
- Verified traveler (4/5): Room Smelled Like a Cleaning Perfume Chamber - I have to give a low rating for my stay because the chemical perfume smell in the room was so strong that it made my night extremely uncomfortable. I felt sick in the morning with sinus problems, burning eyes, and a scratchy throat because the room was doused in a perfume spray. I’m a Flight Attendant and stay at many hotels for work. I never have encountered this extreme of a scent in a room. It was unbearable.
- Wayne (10/5): - No frills and no worries… just everything you need and nothing you don’t.
- Quincy (6/5): - It's more of a motel than hotel. The property is upgraded. For a quick nap or rest. This is cool.
- Danielle L (10/5): - Decent room for the price. No complaints here.
- Chloe (8/5): - 👍
- Dustin (8/5): - A
- Katrina (10/5): - Good location and clean rooms
- Luis (8/5): - It is good to stay for work a few days
- Denice (10/5): - It was ok!
- Michael (10/5): A+ - Definitely a big step above the average Motel. Staff is friendly and accommodating. A modest breakfast was also available. Which is almost non existent at the price points competition. Thank you for having us. We will definitely be back.
- Chelsea (10/5): - I love how big the rooms were didn’t like that the bathtub didn’t work
- David W (10/5): Great budget hotel - This was as advertised. A budget hotel with nice sized room and comfortable bed. Very clean and met my needs perfectly including good Wi-Fi. Never had to wait for service even though our checkin the first night was at 2am
- Lucy (10/5): - Clean, affordable and nicely updated the property. Will definitely be back
- Robert (8/5): - Room was nice. Breakfast, not so good.
- Lisa (10/5): Business - Comfortable, clean and friendly reception.
- Janice (8/5): Travel - One night stay while traveling. Modern, very clean, efficient, not luxurious. Good place for price. Breakfast is minimal.
- Christian (10/5): - The hotel was cheap and clean. I have no complaints.
- Amanda (10/5): - While it was off a major thoroughfare the location was near a mix of residential properties (behind the location) and business (next door). Check in was easy and the staff member was polite. The room was clean and I like the fact that it did not have carpet. The parking lot was full when I check out early in the morning. Overall a decent place.
- zach (10/5): - Clean rooms and quit and safe
- Trudie (6/5): - They only have one handicap room
- Trudie (8/5): - The room was very roomy and clean. I like that there's no carpet and there is a walkin shower.
- Gerardo (2/5): - No good
- Robbie (8/5): - Clean room. Mattress was terrible, needs upgraded.
- Elizabeth (10/5): - Perfect for an overnight stay.
- Jesus (10/5): - Always a good stay here. Convenient location and for the price is well worth it!
- Jerry (6/5): - None
- Jeffery (10/5): - Convenient
- Jeffery (10/5): - Nice, affordable, close to everything
- Donna (8/5): - A great place to sleep if visiting the woodlands. Basic stay un a busy area.
- Cortez (10/5): - The property has an upscale view on the interior. The front desk is nice.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Small space - Space was tight with all the furniture…get rid of the desk and desk chair, the single chair with side table. Put in a small sofa with coffee table.
- Daniel (8/5): - Easy check in, friendly staff, clean rooms
- Amy (8/5): - Very clean and inexpensive hotel close by the Woodlands pavilion. A good find! Would stay there again.
- kim (6/5): - I was staying at this hotel by myself. Upon check in, I was asked if it was me staying. When I said yes, the guy checking me in pointed to a room behind the counter and said he had a room where the key didn't work. He said he'd have to open the door for me every time himself. I was very creeped out and told the guy that would not be happening. I did get another room with a key, but I was worried all night that someone was going to come in my room. If I could've canceled my reservation without paying I would have.
- Neil (4/5): - I'm not sure how this place has such high reviews. I mean it's okay. But the shower was a trickle, the bed was not overly comfortable and the pillows were super thin. Bring your own pillow! Breakfast was an absolute joke. All the drink machines were broken, and there were a handful of prepackaged honey buns laid out.
- stephanie (8/5): - The bed could use a new mattress
- Carlos (2/5): Unsanitary, uncleaned, and poor quality! - Me and my girl had such a bad experience with this hotels. To start off, the sheets had cigarette burns/holes. You could tell the rooms is not cleaned throughly as there was a lot of hair, grime and nasty stuff in corners and besides the bed (GROSS!). Additionally there was so many stains on the bed that it made it impossible to feel comfortable sleeping, not to mention that there was only 3 pillows in the king bed which were SO tiny and flat; no joke they were worse than the worse pillow you may find in your house- So sad and uncomfortable.
However, the cherry on top of all this was when my girlf walked into the bathroom and there was damp towels hanging in the bathroom. Whoever cleaned the room obviously had very little attention to detail. And having wet towels in your room left from previous people really shows how bad of a job they do and how little they care.
I don’t usually go out of my way to write good or bad reviews on things but this place was so disappointing and so unsanitary that I had to let the world know. The only good thing about this hotel was its location and closeness to the area I was visiting, but next time I’ll drive the extra miles for something better! 0/10 if I could give it that rating!
Looks can be deceiving!
- Russell (6/5): Rockin beds - We stayed here on our way to Galveston for the weekend. Check in was quick. We wanted a first floor room and they accommodated our request but all they had was a handicap room. Upon entering the room, it was small but clean. The whole bathroom was the shower. (Theres no tub in a handicap room). I would’ve given at least 4 stars overall, but both of the beds rocked back and forth on the floor and was really annoying.
- Edward (10/5): Great if you are in the area for a concert. - Nice spot. We booked it because it was close the concert venue in the area. Room was very clean and new ish nothing wrong with the room at all.
- Anna (6/5): - Close proximity to the interstate. Noise from traffic could be heard inside the room. Average accommodations.
- Lee Anne (8/5): - It is good for the price. I felt safe and it was very clean.
