• Nicol Mikaella (10/5): - Me encantaron los espacios, todo lo básico que necesitas. Privado, tranquilo, gran vista, muy buen servicio y comunicación con el staff. La ubicación esta genial si buscas un espacio tranquilo e igual, tiendas de básicos están a unos 10 min caminando. Si ya tienen planeado rentar moto/auto queda muy cómodo pero igual en transporte público queda cerca de todo lo turístico de Mazunte. Me volvería hospedar aquí. El piso es un poco resbaloso.

• Christine (9/5): Bel endroit et chambre avec terrasse spacieuse. - Bel endroit. Une maison sur 3 étages avec une belle vue sur le dernier étage. Le gestionnaire est très réactif à la moindre question via whatsapp et la femme qui s'occupe du ménage est adorable. Coin calme à 5 mns du centre de San Agustinillo. Chambre très propre et climatisée. A 5 mns à pied vous avez accès à un super restau avec terrasse. Et la plage est accessible rapidement par un escalier. La remise de clés car les instructions et le code de la boite à clés nous ont été données par whatsapp 2 heures avant notre arrivée et si vous n'avez pas du connexion hors wifi vous êtes coincés dehors! Heureusement un taxi qui passait par là a pu joindre le gestionnaire pour avoir le code wifi de la maison et donc pouvoir accès aux instructions... L'idéal serait de transmettre les instructions la veille en s'assurant que nous les avons bien eues.

La habitación es muy comoda, el aire acondicionado ayuda muchísimo. En general, todo nos gustó. Entiendo que es un lugar lejano del pueblo y que hay pocas opciones para comprar viveres, pero la casa mono te proporciona agua y a pocos metros hay un restaurante muy rico

The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The AC worked well for us. The closest restaurant nearby was really nice. The trek to the beach was challenging. The photo of the walk to the beach is misleading. I would not have booked this place if we had known about the stairs all the way down and then past the stairs is barely lit at night! Not really convenient if you are traveling without a car. We were able to get to town/shops/restaurants by foot on the beach but later it was best to take a cab, which were overpriced for tourists. We loved San Agastinillo and will be returning but not to casa mono.

Muy tranquilo alrededor, se puede descansar muy bien. Tiene todo lo que necesitas. Incluso hay una cocina muy bien equipada que se puede utilizar si se desea. El staff es muy atento. Siempre hubo comunicación y respuesta inmediata. Definitivamente me quedaría aquí nuevamente. 100% recomendable. .

Made us double book both rooms just to ignore HER OWN request for us to contact booking, so that we could change room without cost. We did EVERYTHING in time as she asked, but she never answered booking.com, or helt her part of what she agreed. This resulted in us paying for BOTH rooms for for 2 days. Matter of fact, she completely stopped answering, and her property manager blocked us. And yes, it's easy to see when messages don't go through on WhatsApp. No one is out of reach from signal for.. 7 days. Felt very unsafe there, with no contact or answers from the owner or property manager. Definitely can't recommend this place alone from that, the incredible mismanagement and unkindness of just letting us pay for both rooms. If she had reacted in time she would have had 3 days to get the other room booked. She's just laughing all they way to the bank. I wouldn't have booked both if I knew she was going to scam us. A part from that, the toilet door is paper thin, there's no privacy between bed and toilet. The AC was running with water on the floor, and was unsafe to be around. They cleaning lady just laid out towels to dry it up. How about fixing it instead so your customers aren't in danger of slipping when they get up from the bed. The pool was not cleaned on any of the days, it was filled with dead bugs and was SO not clean.

Los anfitriones muy amables. La pasamos muy bien. Muy recomendable. La playa está un poco lejos y el estacionamiento lo cobran aparte cosa que no esta clara en la descripción en la plataforma, además no está techado.

• Ituriel (10/5): Gran experiencia. - Habitación amplia, cómoda y con TODO lo necesario para una buena estancia, el personal amable y atento a las necesidades en todo momento. El lugar cuenta con cocina y utensilios para facilitar la preparación de alimentos, sin lugar a dudas una excelente opción. La ubicación es buena, a 5 min a pie de San Agustinillo y a 10 min de mazunte también a pie. Sin embargo, la colectiva pasa cada 15 min aprox, reduciendo el tiempo de traslado a la mitad. Un poco de reuido por las mañanas en las otras edificaciones que se encuentran frente a casa mono.

The 3 other places I stayed always felt way over-valued, and no where near the level of this place. I really hope they keep their prices, and Casa Mono will be a favorite spot to return for all of its customers. It's a bit distanced from the rest of the town(s) and activities, but that is also a huge plus. Expect a 10-15 min walk to nearest store or the other restos

We will be back! - The location is secluded and private except it is an area in expansion so there was some construction noise (more reason, if you need reason to spend the day at the BEAUTIFUL beach). *clearly not a forever issue. Cafe was provided and there is a working kitchen. We loved our terrace and dip pool- great nature and bird watching! The pathway to the beach is under construction but it's a great workout!

• Danae (10/5): It was a lovely stay, my favorite part of the trip very smooth - The bedding was my favorite thing, the sheets were so nice and soft, the pillows and the mattress were so comfortable. I also liked the kitchen area a lot, the hammock. I loved staying there, the room was huge and it was very easy to move around the area. The staff was great, super helpful and friendly never rushed to help you or share some tips or information. It really was great! It’s not that I didn’t like, but the bathroom could use some love improvements. Like the towels could be soft and fluffy, maybe a nice mat for when you get out of the shower. It also gets really hot in there when you are not showering, so maybe a fan and a cute basket with cover for the trash. Just little details in the bathroom.

The clay Moroccon-style house makes you feel you are having a very special beach holiday. Enjoying the sunrise from the balcony was so special, especially with the soundscape of Pacific around you.

Alot of construction in area and a bit of a walk to beach. Only one of the two balconies had a view of the ocean.

Our hosts were super helpful, making sure the electricity and water system were up and running after a storm had passed through the night before. Rooms were impeccable. They took their time to show us around the property and made themselves readily available. Overall, excellent hospitality. We are definitely coming back to stay at this property.

The room had everything we needed including towels and sheets, free water bottles, mini bar, pay tv, safety box, etc and was cleaned every day. Bathroom and shower were really spacious. The location of Casa Mono is just outside of San Augustinillo, approx. 10-15 mins walking. Our host Gaby was very friendly and communication always impeccable. Thanks for having us!
• Adam (10/5): Un Sueño en Playa San Agustinillo - Casa Mono is a wonderful escape, a few minutes walk up a hill from a quiet part of Playa San Agustinillo. It's a bit hard to understand the location. The house is perched on a hill on the south east part of the beach, the opposite end of all the beach businesses. This makes for a wonderfully quiet location but you will need to walk along the beach or the road to get supplies (which is all good, but just know this). The house itself feels almost brand new. Everything works well and is very comfortable. The owners have stocked the house with books/magazines, beach supplies (towels, umbrella, air couch and cooler) and a mini bar. They are very responsive and clearly want to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I would totally stay at Casa Mono again and would heartily recommend to friends.

• John (10/5): One of my favorite rooms - This place was amazing. Clean, close to the beach and town, hot water! Fridge, hammock, blue tooth speaker, beach towels, everything! Love this place and will return. There are only two rooms in the building, one downstairs and one upstairs, owners live off premises.

• Verified traveler (4/5): - J’ai été très déçue par cet établissement. Principalement à cause du fait qu’il n’etait pas situé là où il est annoncé sur expédia et sur google map. L’endroit est très retiré du centre de san augustillino. Selon la map, il semblait être à 10-15 minutes de marche, mais il est plutôt à 25 minutes de marche. Pour une personne seule, le chemin pour s’y Rendre à pied devenait impossible à pratiquer de soir, à la marche. Aussi, il était indiqué dans la description qu’il y avait un bain tourbillon dans chacune des chambres. Mais ce n’est pas le cas. La chambre du haut (avec la vue) ne possède pas de bain tourbillon. Ceci dit, si vous voyagez en couple ou entre amis, et que vous souhaitez être retirés, ça peut être bien. Le prix est tout de même un peu cher pour ce que c’est.
