• Amantur (6/5): For short time one-two days Ok. - Good Location not far from the main party road in HCMC. Have an exchange on reception. Room is pretty old. Shower also bad condition. No ac remote in room, AC is still working don’t know how very old. A little smell in the room can hear noises from other rooms and very noisy neighbours in the morning. No elevator so third floor and upper floors will be extra GYM for you.

Aunque la limpieza es justita para nuestro gusto, las sábanas huelen a limpio. Estuvimos en días de lluvias y salíeron varias cucarachas del baño.

Has all things necessary like aircon, fridge, coffee etc. The staff were very welcoming and there is always someone in reception should you need anything No lift and room was on 6th floor. Definitely not a problem for me just something to consider if you’re lesser abled.

• Luca (1/5): Cockroach infested, rude staff & dirty sheets - Good location The hotel is infested by cockroaches, when we arrived in the room there was a dead cockroach next to the bed and several live cockroach in the bathroom. The room wasn’t clean, we noticed that the sheets hadn’t been cleaned (they smelt dirty, had stains and hair in the them). Our room didn’t even have a window. Overall the room is dirty, damaged and infested by cockroaches. On top of that the staff is an absolute joke. When we arrived to check in, the receptionist continued playing his game on his phone will ignoring us. When we mentioned that the sheets were dirty, they said that they would change them for the second night, but in fact all they did was just re do the bed. Avoid this hotel at all costs !!!!

Even the rooms was not serviced a single day during my stay of 4 nights... No bed sheets changed in 4 nights stay even after requesting several times .....Booking.com is a fraud site which says bathtub shower and facilities ...None of these are available and during booking asks credit card later doesn't allow cancellations and changes ....

You get what you pay for - Great location in a quiet alley, but 5 mins to the HCM night life and Bui Vien street, Ben Than market and other city attractions. Great wifi connection. Not so clean. We had ants in our room and in the middle of the night we could hear that something (like a small animal) is running on the ceiling over and over again. We were on the ground floor so it was not the birds.

• Cory (5/5): Good value option; great location - I wanted to post about this hotel because when I arrived, there were two people complaining about it being “rundown” … I thought this hotel was fine and anything you would complain about in terms of facilities being rundown (eg shower tiles cracked, etc) were just cosmetic — the discounted hotel price reflects that. Otherwise the hotel room was very clean and had a nice little balcony opening onto lane. Location is excellent for exploring District 1, including some of the busier night streets à short walk from hotel. I had a weird situation in which the night manager entered my room using their key at about 230 am … this woke me confused from sleep but there were people behind him and I assume he was trying to let other guests into obviously the wrong room. He was startled when I yelled what are you doing! and he said “you stay here?” and then left my room, locking the door again. I received a booking message from the hotel the next day to apologize and say the employee was to receive training. Hopefully this was a one-off experience but I feel it’s something worthwhile to pass on.

The only downside for us was the bathroom, which could have been better. - The staff is friendly, and the location is very convenient, just a short walk from Ben Thanh Market. Despite being near the bustling street, it’s surprisingly quiet and peaceful. We had to spend one night in a different room, which was quite run-down—the bathroom had mold, and the door knob broke the next day. The following night, we were moved to the top floor, and I knew there wasn’t an elevator, so it was a bit of a climb several times a day but no biggies.

No elevator. No breakfast. No staff to help. No telephone. It's so difficult to reach the staff because you need to go down. No lights in the stairs, it's dark and creepy.

• Than (3/5): Great Location but didn't find anything good other than that. - The location was very convenient. Aircon was leaking and despite informing, it wasn't fixed. Door stopper was broken. Towels have stains. Power sockets was quite loose. Laundry service kept changing price. When I asked one staff, he said 30.000VND/kg but next day when I asked a different staff who was having a great time with his girlfriend on the guest sofa, he told me 35.000VND/kg. WiFi was very bad.
