- Louisa (10/5): Beautiful location and lovely accommodation and host. - This is now our second time staying at Pear Tree Cottages and we’ve booked again already! Penny is a wonderful host who left essentials such as bread and milk, together with luxuries such as marmalade and cider. The accommodation is cosy and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need and want. It was so lovely to watch the birds in the courtyard and hear the cows mooing in the afternoon. Quite simply, an idyllic place to spend a much needed short break. Thank you Penny 😊 Nothing

All the comforts of your own home, delivered to a very high standard. Cozy yet spacious with plenty of natural light. There's nothing more disappointing than a cold cottage arrival and it was the complete opposite - warm floor, warm room, warm towels - pure Bliss, thank you. The kitchen gifts were a surprise and gratefully received. The makeup flannel was genius! A coffee machine would have been a bonus for us but as we came by car we brought our own!

- Lisa (10/5): A restful stay in the countryside, yet still close enough to explore local cider barns and Cheddar Gorge. A well equippe - Stunning location, and the perfect property to explore local cider barns and visit cheddar gorge. I thought the layout was exceptional too if you’re visiting as two couples, it was nice to have a communal space and then retire to your bedroom for some privacy, as the bedrooms are at opposite ends. Such lovely touches as well, freshly baked bread, marmalade and ciders in the fridge as well as an ice tray in the freezer. Penny went above and beyond for us and was a fabulous host. The only thing was the sofas, we didn’t find them particularly comfortable, we thought they reclined but couldn’t work out how - if they did.

- Nomsa (9/5): Superb - Pleasantly presented cottage. A selection of local refreshments were provided, fresh daffodils 🌼 and a fridge stocked with fresh milk and butter. The cottage is very warm with no draft. It was lambing season and I got a chance to visit and pet the lamb. There was a good selection of magazines, books and information on the local area. Regarding cutlery, a few large serving spoons could be provided. The sofas were a little too low for an elderly parent who found them a little difficult to get in and out of.

Such a fantastic touch my adding Christmas decorations - The style, layout, very beautiful cottage, a very sweet welcome pack, friendly owner, amazing information and dvd/books etc anything you’d need, definitely love to go back and recommend Bath towel rail was very slighty too hot. Initial supply of dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet rolls. Would thoroughly recommend this cottage and Penny is a charming host. Would have liked some baking sheets for the oven.
