The owners Antony & Sarah have fully restored the property & you can tell they have poured there hearts into it. We stayed in the Bramble Suite, totally unique modern restoration while keeping the old feel to the place. A little unusual not to have a TV, but you know what, after 10 mins I thought hey who needs that! Look where we are! The next morning we were greeted by Antony who honestly added so much to our stay. After mentioning how much we loved the place he offered to properly show us around telling us all the history of the place and how it dated back to the 13th century when the original part of the hotel was a chapel. He knew every detail which was amazing to listen to. It was a really nice touch! You could see how proud he was & rightly so! I have stayed in hotels all over the world, honestly for the personal touch from the owners I don’t think I’ve ever had a better more welcoming experience! Without doubt would return

The hotel staff were excellent and extremely accommodating. Excellent scenic views and general calm and relaxed atmosphere. The afternoon and breakfast is definitely worth having.
