• Benjamin (9/5): Un bel hôtel dans une ville originale ! - L'accueil était agréable, avec une boisson de bienvenu, et très professionnel. La chambre dispose d'une grande salle d'eau et de bel espace nuit. Des bouteilles sont offertes. Le petit-déjeuner était très varié et de bonne qualité. Possibilité de faire la lessive moyennant un surplus. Piscine à disposition. Assez proche pour faire un tour de ville à pied. Les interlocuteurs par message sont rapides et contents de pouvoir aider. C'était une très bonne expérience. Un petit peu plus au-dessus de la moyenne niveau tarif mais pour le reste rien à redire, continuez !

• 60s-Explorers (6/5): An Average Hotel - needs renovation - We have to be honest, this hotel is very tired and in urgent need of renovation. We followed recent TripAdvisor 5 star reviews, and we cannot understand how it was rated so high. Having stayed on 2 occasions, for 2 nights and then for 1 night, pre and post our Ha Long Bay cruise, in different rooms on different floors, the same issues are apparent. It would have been a great hotel in it's day. External presentation is just ok. In need of a repaint and tidy up. Similarly, on the 3 accommodation levels. - Carpet in the hallways is filthy - vinyl flooring in some rooms is peeling up and needs replacing - mould spores growing out of cracks in hallway walls - beds ok, linen clean, towels ok - in room safe not bolted down🤣 Room furnishings and decor are good but some items a bit tired.

• Sparkler678 (10/5): A real gem! - This has to be the most welcoming and service oriented hotel we have ever stayed in. We arrived early before check in time and they gladly stored our luggage for us, gave us complimentary drinks (the cumquat and ginger tea is amazing!) and recommended a fantastic local seafood restaurant for us to have lunch while they prepared our room. Our room was super comfortable and clean. The hotel is in a great spot for a walk around town to see the gorgeous architecture and parks and to eat local food. Breakfast at the hotel was terrific, with a terrific array of food on the buffet and excellent service with staff on hand offering to make eggs and refilling food as soon as it looked like running low. All of the staff were generous with their time talking to us and answering questions, especially Toan and Van Anh (sorry that we didn’t get everyone’s names!) We would gladly recommend it and hope to stay here again.

• helliedoc (10/5): Hai Phong gem - Hai phong is a great,friendly city and this is well located to explore it.Beautiful hotel,just a little worn in the bedroom,lovely bar and restaurant and a cool pool area.Food was great.Ate there one night and the excellent Indian kitchen around the corner on the other.Do check out the Central Park in the evenings for dancing groups and funny electric vehicles you can drive around .Locals seem curious and welcoming of western tourists and greeted us warmly rather than constantly trying to sell us something

The moment I arrived, I was captivated by its elegant design and timeless style - a beautifully restored old mansion from 1936 that perfectly blends French colonial charm with modern comfort. Every corner feels thoughtfully decorated, especially now with their creative Halloween setup, which adds a warm festive touch without losing the hotel’s refined atmosphere. My room was spotless, well-organized, and very cozy, with all the details showing great care. The pool area is simply lovely, peaceful and ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location couldn’t be more convenient, just steps from local attractions, cafés, and Hai Phong Station. What made my stay truly memorable, though, was the staff. Hieu, Van Anh, and Hoang at the front desk were exceptionally friendly and helpful, always greeting me with genuine smiles and going out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommended!

The bed and pillows very comfortable and the air con perfect. Although rated 4 stars it feels like a five star experience. Amazing service from the staff: Jason Pham, Thomas, Tran, the lovely Anne, and the very special Tuan and Mr VIN. They organised scenic flight of Halong bay, scooter rental and helped me out with many little details. Special thanks to Jason Pham. He made sure my stay was safe and is very attentive to the guests - as all his team is. Oh and the pool - amazing! I will stay here again!

Anything you need they will look after you. All the staff are great. Thank you Mr Tuan for the excellent food service and Mr Vin for security and driving. The rooms and beds are excellent and the pool is beautiful clean and well maintained. The Hotel is centrally located but in the more quiet old quarter. I would definitely stay here again.
• harvl2025 (10/5): Charming Boutique Stay with Exceptional Hospitality in the Heart of Hai Phon - Manoir Des Arts Hotel is perfectly located – just a short walk from the train station and the Opera House, surrounded by lovely cafés, tea shops, restaurants, and other local conveniences. Coming back to Manoir Des Arts with my family after six years was truly heartwarming. Ms. Van Anh and the front desk team welcomed us with such professionalism and genuine care – something I rarely experience even at hotels in North America. They even surprised my mother with a cute birthday cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I believe the service and the people are the hotel’s greatest strengths. The facilities are satisfactory and well worth the reasonable price. The garden and pool area are beautiful and airy – perfect spots for taking memorable photos. Breakfast was good, with more variety than I expected, though not particularly outstanding. Overall, I highly recommend staying at Manoir Des Arts Hotel and experiencing their warm hospitality for yourself.

This eighty three years old French created Grande Dame Manoir Des Arts not only satisfies all my expectations, it manages to check all the boxes of splendor, artistry, sophistication associated to four star rated hotels. And it has Character. I am running out of praise for the Manoir. Splendide merveille!

The food and drinks were delicious and tastefully presented. The staff speaks English well. The hotel is so nice that I almost don’t want to leave, because I can enjoy myself inside as well, eating, drinking, swimming, all in a very beautiful environment. We would definitely come back!

Van Anh on the front counter was friendly and organised early check in for us. We had breakfast, lunch and drinks here at the hotel. Everything we drank and ate was very tasty. The room was great too, good size and very clean. The facilities were awesome, with the cafe, restaurant and lounge downstairs. Also the outdoor pool area was really good, the pool water was cold! Very refreshing in this warm and humid weather. Highly recommend staying here, we will definitely be back!

• ergonomicdesign (10/5): Charming Stay in the Heart of Hai Phong’s Old Quarter - The hotel is located in Hai Phong’s Old Quarter, right next to the Hai Phong Museum, the City Opera House, and a well-known spicy bánh mì shop. I stayed in Room 409, which had a boutique-style design and good amenities. The bed was comfortable and just right. For breakfast, since I’m vegetarian, I asked the restaurant to prepare the instant noodles I brought along, and the staff were very accommodating and kind. Ms. Quynh from Sales Team was incredibly helpful and thoughtfully arranged all my requests. Mr. Hieu at Reception recommended Bep Phuong Hong restaurant, which turned out to be a great fit for our family. The hotel’s driver was well-organized and friendly. • Relax22249271711 (10/5): Over night Stay. - We had a quick overnight stay, checking in around midnight due to a delayed flight. Despite the late hour, we received a warm and friendly welcome on arrival, which was much appreciated. The hotel is a beautiful old building with lovely character, reflecting an Art Deco style throughout. In the morning, we were greeted by more welcoming and attentive staff, and the breakfast was delicious — a perfect start to the day. Although our stay was brief, the experience was memorable. We’d definitely stay here again!

• Noriko (10/5): - 街の中心部にありとても便利です。クラッシックな感じのホテルでお部屋は広く調度品も美しく清掃は行き届きアメニティもすべてそろっていました。シャワーのみでしたが温度も調節でき水量十分でちゃんと仕切りのドアがあるので洗面所が濡れることもありません。朝食会場も広く雰囲気がよくメニューも盛りだくさんでした。フロント、レストラン、ハウスキーピングの方々すべてが感じがよく素晴らしいサービスでした。朝食はフォーや地元ならではの麺も日替わりで提供されていました。卵料理もリクエストにより色々作ってもらえます。味はとてもよかった。プールがあり泳いでいる人もいました。このホテルを選んでよかったです。強くおすすめできます。
• Cathy (6/5): - We checked in very late, and were not helped with our luggage. No food options availabile, and had to walk for 10 mins to get to a convenience store. Needed a kettle to clean medical equipment, but kettle in room had a plug that didn't fit any of the sockets(!) - not fun having to sort that out at midnight!! Hotel just felt a bit tired and I appreciate that the check-in guy was not thrilled with us arriving at 11pm, but we were exhausted after a 7 hour road journey, so it would have been nice to have had a warmer welcome and no problems with the kettle etc. Breakfast was nice and morning staff more friendly.
• gabriellem45 (10/5): Must stay! - We were graciously welcomed on our arrival. All staff were very attentive to us. Our suite was spacious and comfortable. Dinner we had an unexpected ( I think) piano recital, which was beautiful. The food was delicious, Breakfast was wonderful, and the crab pho was delicious.

The staff was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. We felt so lucky to stay here. We stayed in a suite, which was beautiful and spacious! The main floor of the hotel had beautiful artwork and designs. We enjoyed a lovely dinner at the main restaurant, and the breakfast buffet was a treat (the chicken pho at breakfast was a highlight!) 10/10 would recommend!

The staff is very enthusiastic and professional. The space is designed in neoclassical style, French style of the early 20th century. The room design is a bit small. The swimming pool is small but clean.
• 775riannt (10/5): 1940s beauty - Beautiful hotel, very centrally located. We came for a night stay and loved this hotel. It was quiet. Pool was small but perfect and beautiful surrounds. Breakfast was very generous and would appeal to even the pickiest of eaters. Hint: their cocktails and mocktails are delicious and worth a late night drink by the pool. We have to thank Jason, the customer service Manager, who went above and beyond for us and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely stay here again.
• 704ajm (8/5): A Charming and Sustainable Stay at Manoir des Arts - We had a lovely stay at Manoir des Arts! We arrived around 10pm and were warmly welcomed by Heiu, who checked us in. He was very accommodating, friendly, and spoke English well, which made the check-in process smooth and enjoyable. Our room was clean and comfortable. It came with just one key card, and since the air conditioning wasn't on before our arrival, it did take a little time to cool down — something to note if you're arriving late. Still, it didn't detract much from our overall stay. One evening, we went down to the lobby past 11pm and noticed the lights were off. While it was a bit surprising for a hotel with 24-hour check-in, we assumed it was part of their sustainability efforts, which we actually appreciated overall. The hotel has a strong eco-friendly focus, using paper in trash bins instead of plastic, and offering reusable slippers and laundry bags. It’s a nice touch that shows their commitment to the environment. Most of the hotel staff spoke English and were easy to communicate with, which is a big plus for international travelers. All in all, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend staying here — comfortable, welcoming, and environmentally conscious!
• Danilo (10/5): Exceptional - Highly recommend! I stayed here for 7 nights and felt great the whole time. Everyone in the staff(Van Anh and all her co-workers) from the receptionists, waiters, cleaners, etc. were all very helpful and kind. Location is good, cleanliness is good. No complaints. They made my time in Haiphong a great one! Not much of a complaint, but the building is a little old. In my opinion it gives the space a nice rustic feeling, as it's still clean and well kept, but it might not be everyone's style.

The property was spotlessly clean and it has a lovely courtyard where we had breakfast. Because it’s an older hotel some areas could do with a bit of an update

Everything worked well. Breakfast was more than amazing. Help from the reception staff was off the charts. They really saved our bacon on booking some ferry tickets out of Phu Quoc. They did a great job. All the service was incredible. We booked a very worthwhile cruise in Halong Bay too. They got us on the tour at the very last minute. Much appreciated. Nothing not to like about the hotel itself. But it was a little bit hard to find places to eat outside the hotel.
